Either works, though personally I'd prefer to edit my previous event suggestion post for the season. Just keep in mind that event suggestions will close in a few hours.

Sorry for the COVID event, but I'm going to suggest a few more events I used in my simulations.

• (Player1) receives Red Bull from an unknown sponsor.
• (Player1) kills (Player2) for being cringe.
• (Player1) kills (Player2) for annoying (him/her1).
• (Player1) kills (Player2) for stealing (his/her1) food.
• (Player1) attempts to hide in the bushes, but (Player2) spots (him/her1).

Voted for the Case by Basis opinion as there are certain events that happened centuries ago, which I think would be fine to add IMO

Sorry for the double post, but the polls have been closed. All events based on real-life historical tragedies and "unusual" deaths of ordinary people shall be screened on a case-by-case basis, including their wait times before they're okay to be suggested.

Also, we recommend putting your events in a new post instead of editing your last one so we'll be able to screen them right away.

~Owen 23 , for your arcade event, we'll change "to deposit" to "for" to fit the character limit, while we're reminding you again that your Mimikyu event might be Fan Myopic because I, at least, am not sure if the majority of the non-Pokemon fans would know what that mon is.

OK, I fixed my arcade event, but I also changed the Mimikyu in my fatal event to a creepy creature.

With that, we're almost done setting up the save, but there's one more event we need to ask ~Janky Kong about:

While you intended for this to be a natural death, the way it was worded sounded more like an accidental kill because P1 unintentionally provoked the cat, and it's currently set as the latter in the sim. Should it be kept this way or changed back to a natural death? Because if the latter, then that might retcon some of the kill tallies of the seasons of this current Death Battle cycle^note starting from Solid Snake in S205 and mess up the estimated schedule for it.

Sorry, but I'm confused, how does this affect the DB cycle? I don't remember if that event has ever actually gotten selected or not.

If that event did happen in past seasons but was incorrectly marked as a kill event all this time, then all the killers involved there would have 1 kill deducted from them. If they were Mass Murderers, then depending on the kills the other tributes made, they might end up being disqualified, removing them from the DB roster and delaying that season, or they might end up tying with one tribute or more, adding more DB contenders and advancing that season much earlier than expected.

That's why we're asking if the event should remain a kill: so we won't have to deduct a kill from any killer previously involved and complicate the DB roster.

I don't think I've ever seen the event come up, which would make it safe to change it to a natural death, as it probably should be, but if it does ends up interfering with the MM results, I apologize in advance.

As an aside, I have wanted to make changes to that event for different reasons (probably should wait until next season for that) but would it be necessary to remove the original to do that, or could it stay as a variant?

I believe we must check all the seasons from S216^note when you first suggested that event-240 for that event to make sure it is safe to revert to a natural death, even if that means delaying this season's production (then again, we haven't found the runner yet). But that got me wondering: why did you intend it as a natural death? Because for me, it kinda reads similar to this hypothetical event: "P1 accidentally steps on a cat's tail, which provokes it into killing P2." To me, that's an accidental kill, which still counts as a kill even if it was sorta indirect.

As for your planned revision, we'll have to see what is first before determining whether it would overwrite this event or exist as a variant.

I interpret the cat being the killer in this case since P1 didn't want to send it after P2, and it was acting on its own.

The change I wanted to make was to have the slingshot being used by a nominator instead of a tribute, both to make it more consistent with the later events I've written based on the same game, and now, I guess, to remove the need for the conflict of whether P1 provoking the cat counts as causing an accidental kill.

EDIT: I decided to skim through the death summaries for all of the relevant seasons, and I'm pretty sure the event isn't in any of them. I'm sure you'll want to see it for yourself, though.

I'd ask why the NPC in your variant is a nominator and not some other one such as President Snow since I think even he would have his reasons for trying to stop the theft, but that doesn't matter either way. As for the original event, I still think it should count as an accidental kill for P1 because they still instigated the whole thing.

Anyway, I'll go ask the Discord community for their final thoughts on this before we take further action on it.

Also, to those who aren't in the server, would you be cool with us posting gag saves on this thread starting next season, just like back in the OG? That way, you can see the progress with save production and help contribute by pointing out broken events, for example.

I suppose it's fair that my tribute gets killed by Myskywarm's after the opposite happened last season.

Oh, goody, Fauna died during the Bloodbath and I don't have Kronii to fall back on. So much for the Hololive curse being broken, unless it's just my Hololive tributes that are cursed.
