This is the thread to report all violations of the site's spoiler policy in, as well as a place to coordinate cleanup of those articles.

It's the same thing as with sequels. If you read about a sequel, anything about the original work is not considered a spoiler, since that's what the sequel is based on. It's still possible to hide some major spoilers that would ruin the enjoyment of the original work, but it depends on how much the sequel takes for granted that the audience knows about those plot points.
A name is almost never a major spoiler, unless it points towards a family relationship or an established other identity. Most of the time knowing the name doesn't spoil anything other than knowing the name.
Check out my fanfiction!Despite the Undertale character being named at the very end of the original game, it's a well-known enough twist that most of the audience for Undertale fan works would be aware of it.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. The examples on The Children's Hour pages vary on whether Martha's sexuality and her suicide are a spoiler or not. Some examples spoiler them, some don't. Since it's a twist at the end, it should be spoilered, right?
Also, on examples involving Naruto, are the names and the parentages of the Boruto characters still spoilers? Several pages like Strong Family Resemblance have long spans of spoilers involving these characters.
- The Children's Hour: It's a legitimate end-of-work twist in something that didn't get any sort of sequel. Spoiler it.
- Boruto: Considering just how often this exact question comes up, and that the very premise of Boruto spoils part of it anyway, it's fairly obvious that Naruto spoilers shouldn't be tagged when discussing Boruto in any way, shape, or form. (However, Boruto spoilers on Naruto examples are still a no-go.)
"Well-known enough..." No. It's not. However, it's about a work based on it, so it's not a spoiler in that work.
Check out my fanfiction! It's well-known enough to the intended audience, which was the point I'm trying to make. Fan works often assume knowledge of their source.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Franchise.Carmen Sandiego has spoiler tags in the list of games Carmen's appeared in.
Edited to remove spoiler tag.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Mickeyfan 93 put those tags back.
Tags removed again.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Should Characters.Steven Universe White Diamond be Spoilers Off? Not only does she not appear until late in the fifth season, but a lot of her tropes require giving away the plot twist in "A Single Pale Rose".
Keet cleanupSpeaking of Steven Universe, Steven Universe — Pink Diamond has the character's voice actress spoiled out. That doesn't seem right, shouldn't Pink Diamond be Spoilers Off too?

I thought about that too, but making Pink Diamond's page spoilers off would defeat the point of keeping her page separate from that of her secret identity, which it was decided to do.
Keet cleanupWell if a character is a Walking Spoiler, their page or folder is automatically Spoilers Off.
Besides, we never use spoiler markup above the line. It isn't a spoiler risk in animation anyway because Acting for Two is common.
thatother1dude removed the spoiler tags from White Diamond's page; I think Pink's should be left as-is for now.
Keet cleanupHow should examples deal with Moriarty in Elementary? Her being a woman was a season 1 finale twist, however season 1 was years ago. Spoilering her pronouns makes it obvious what the spoiler is. Should spoilers be done away with? Only spoiler season 1 examples?
If Elementary is a detective/mystery show, then leaving some spoilers uncovered is going to be inevitable, especially if it involves a core aspect of a major recurring character and the spoiler in question was revealed a long time ago.
I think You Have to Burn the Rope should be Spoilers Off, since the game is so short nearly everything can be considered a spoiler, and it doesn't contain any huge twist anyway.

Keet cleanupI feel like keeping an excessive amount of spoiler tags on the page makes it funnier.
It's a joke page, but that doesn't mean the spoiler tags should stay. YHTBTR is old enough (by online game standards) that there's no sense in hiding it.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. Many pics were added to Steven Universe — Gem Monsters, hidden by notes saying "Click here to see her Uncorrupted form". Isn't the "Uncorrupted form" part a spoiler in itself? Everything else about the Gems getting uncorrupted is spoiler tagged, and all the uncorrupted forms besides Nephrite are all non-speaking cameos.

Keet cleanupProbably a spoiler.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool., : Even if it is, what can be done to avoid it?
If a work relies on knowledge from another work (for example, a sequel or in this case fan-video), it's wiki policy to not hide anything about the other work and instead put a warning on top of the page warning viewers that they should go play Undertale before reading this page.
