Unfortunately for Kirby, only the real Darkseid can control the Omega Effect, so trying to copy its power ends up putting him on a possible road to a Fate Worse than Death. And considering that's his sole weapon other than his bare hands (his preference).... Yeah, he'll be much better off trying to copy someone else.

Let's see here.... The One Above All. In comparison, the Living Tribunal, his second-in-command of sorts, can No-Sell an attack from the famed capable-to-destroy-the-universe Infinity Stones/Gems. Oh, and Earth-616's Thanos fears him.

Liskarm places herself in a chokepoint, making sure that the Kirk wannabes can only come from one direction, and then zap the entirety of them with her flash shield. That's the ideal situation, anyway. Getting ganged up by four highly mobile and heavily armored knights means that she's liable to get flanked before she reaches a good position. On top of that, while the Armor of Thorns set offers relatively low lightning defense, even one of them surviving is a death sentence for Liskarm, as her flash shield is physically draining enough to render her temporarily helpless after use.
