Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Continuing with the Jerks Are Worse Than Villains thing, while it is indeed detrimental to unlaunch a technically fleshed-out trope that had been sitting in the oven for years now, given that it is already attracting misuse for various reasons, it's already a chaotic mess, so letting it sit there and fester the misuse is not a good idea either.
I also express concerns of it being turned into either Complete Monster or Moral Event Horizon, but without the very strict criteria. Many problem users who know doubt misused the latter two will take advantage of this as well.
I've just had to clean up some misuse of that trope that's crossed my path: villains and a hero transforming on-screen to a villain, along with some completely wrong potholing (such as listing The Heavy as the show's Big Bad). The entries were just bad. I couldn't tell you if other examples on the page are just as bad, but I was able to salvage a legitimate entry from the mess I encountered.
Looking at the draft, some of these examples were being added during a period when people in the comments were blurring the line with Hate Sink, and that doesn't seem to have ever been addressed during the draft. That might explain some of the problems.

What is Jerks Are Worse Then Villains. The examples seem to waver from dickish villains compared to cool ones, hate sink types, heroes making mistakes and so on. I'm not quite sure what this is about from the examples ?

I think Wyldchyld hit the example weirdness on the head — when the draft was first created, it wasn't very clear what the scope of the trope was aside from "the jerk is worse than the actual villain", and when it narrowed to be a specific Audience Reaction about fans hating the more down-to-Earth antagonists more than the fantastical villains, examples that were added before that that no longer fit weren't removed. Also the draft was created during the wild west days of TVT, so that might also explain it.

I don't think that "Avoid This Area" Effect should necessarily be unlaunched, but I'm concerned that it encompasses a very broad variety of "effects" and that the description glosses over that fact. The Supernaturally Restricted Area TLP draft is a solid concept in itself, but it proposes a separate Sub-Trope page for a trope that had only 27 examples at the time of my writing (7 of them real-life) — to me, that indicates either that the new draft is premature or that "Avoid This Area" Effect is too broad.
If it's the former, I think it's just a matter of adding detail to the description of "Avoid This Area" Effect — identifying internal subtropes like "Supernaturally Restricted Area"; clarifying links to tropes that overlap with this, such as Sexiled, Forbidden Zone, and Emotion Control; and so on.
If it's the latter, then I would be in favour of unlaunching "Avoid This Area" Effect, migrating applicable examples to the Supernaturally Restricted Area draft, and considering replacing "Avoid This Area" Effect with an index.
- I agree that "Avoid This Area" Effect could do with a lot of beefing up in the description and examples department.

Quick question about Mistaken for Imprisonment. It's been launched, but someone in the draft did raise concerns about the title. Someone else said they didn't have a problem with the title. Then it was launched by the draft creator.
I don't know if there is a legitimate issue with the trope name (it doesn't particularly bother me) but the trope description seems a little sparse and relies heavily on five bullet points that feel like they were created with very specific examples in mind — the fifth bullet point doesn't make any sense to me at all.
I was trying to decide whether an example that popped into my head counts as the trope or would be misuse of the trope (it's a prison, but its secret is that people are free to leave whenever they want to; even the few who know that don't leave because their guilt stops them from walking out the door). I suspect it would be misuse of the trope, but I'm not a hundred percent certain that it is based on the description that currently exists.

In the history they said "I will hold off launching until a better title is agreed upon, if any." They never say when they would launch it, so no.
It doesn't look like there was any warning they'd launch. The note Kevjro7 spotted was added on the 22nd in response to the troper who flagged the title then removed before the trope was launched on 25th. But there's no message anywhere that I can find that they'd decided to launch it or set a countdown to launch.

So I just made an IP thread for Bait-and-Switch Silhouette without realizing it was stealth-launched. It's also barely been crosswicked or indexed. Should it be sent back or just let it stay while we also use IP to change the image?
