Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

A Mako Mankanshoku Birthmas 2 is a video game that I am working on with the website Scratch. The game isn't even finished yet. I'm sorry I launched the page prematurely, I was just excited at the thought of making a TV Tropes page for something I made. You can go ahead and delete it, just don't permanently lock it because it will be done soon and I want to restart the page when it's actually out.

Alright, I'd like to talk about GameMod.Minecraft. I made that page a while ago, and I honestly think it's pretty bad. I've tried to add it to an index, but because of my poor decision to put "GameMod" in the title, it's nearly impossible to get the link right. Or rather, I just straight up can't figure it out. Septimus was right to be dubious of the page.
I think the best thing to do is copy all of that GameMod.Minecraft abomination into notepad, clean it up and use better descriptions, add more examples, fix it, and then turn it into a new page called Videogame/ModdedMinecraft. Does that sound alright?

Only has 4 examples and barely any wick.
The description is rather long-winded before it starts even describing what the trope is about, and it's definitely unclear.

^^ Pyrarson That sounds like a plan. You can also make a sandbox page for it, rather than using Notepad; that way you can see that your formatting is right as well. When you're satified with the way it looks, all you need to do is copy the source code over to the correct namespace and put the sandbox page on the cutlist.
^ That's about the size of it. It starts with a long rambling paragraph about the need for conflict in a story, then says "this trope is when one (or more) character(s) have another character they compare themselves to."

Today no worklist so far, so I'll just recap the developments since the 19th:
- Grand Entrance: I've cutlisted it.
- The One You Admire: I am sure that one went through this thread. We really need a better method to deal with these pages - I cannot run them all through YKTTW and their creators are seldom cooperative enough for that to work.
- SlidingScale.Anti Hero: We had a prior sliding scale page as a trope on Sliding Scale Of Anti Heroes that was redlinked for being a constant source of bad edits. This one doesn't seem that bad, but it needs indexing.
- Where's My Gun?: I've cleaned it up. Also, I'll have to discuss that editor - they have plenty of problems beyond that page.

I made the Alice Grove page. The description is small as it's a fairly new webcomic, less than 20 pages in. I didn't add tropes when I made it because I had other things to do at the time and intended to come back to it.
I'll link to it on the creator's other work's page, Questionable Content. That might bring in some extra editors to work some Wiki Magic.

Manipulation Game Of Fun is indeed not in the right Name Space, not sure how to change it to the proper one (which is probably Roleplay?), I'm figuring a lot of stuff out as I go along: and am still figuring stuff out as I'm typing this.
Any help/advice regarding how to switch it to the proper Name Space?

Not sure if this should go in the "prematurely launched pages" thread, but AwesomeMusic.Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger was created today by amam0t0, who has, judging from Fighteer's response to my post to this effect in ATT, been suspended for poor spelling, grammar, capitalisation, punctuation, formatting, etc.
More or less the only things not wrong with the page are that it has been indexed and the entries are technically not ZCEs. However, they're so badly written that I honestly have no idea what any of them are saying. Many names are never spelled the same way twice, and there's honestly no way for a non-fan to tell which names are song titles, which ones are artist names, which ones are series titles, anything. I've put out an appeal in ATT for a Super Sentai fan who is familiar with the series to go to the page and fix it (I've seen the first episode of Zyuranger, the first series to be cut and pasted into MMPR back in the 1990s, but that's it - the franchise as a whole isn't my cup of tea) and commented out the examples for now, but might another option be to just send it to the cutlist and start completely anew if another editor sees fit?
For that matter, any Super Sentai fans reading this thread now who might be able to sort out what's what in those examples?

For today, I think we need to discuss a way to handle trope pages in general, like Where's My Gun? and The One You Admire. We seldom get enough input to do anything about these, and their creators are frequently not helping.

I say we make the default for a trope launched without YKTTW is to cut it, message the creator and tell them to send it through YKTTW.
If enough people think it's okay, then we can keep it.
But if no one comments to defend it, then we send it to where it should've been in the first place. I think the burden should be on the page creator to convince us to let it stay, not on us to send it back.

I concur, tropes that are stub and were launched without YKTTW can be cutlisted preventively to be reworked from the top.
I assume a 3 day waiting period after reporting of the trope and messaging of the creator is reasonable, as well?
Anyhow, worklist for this evening:

So for today, aside from Where's My Gun? (creator suspended because their edit history was just plain terrible), there is SlidingScale.Anti Hero (which needs indexing) and The One You Admire (which was created by a ~markband and 5 examples are not enough to make a good trope page; this one should be run through YKTTW).
Also Borgia is a stub work page whose creator has been messaged.

I like the symmetry of three days. A sponsor has to wait three days to launch a YKTTW, makes sense he'd have three days before we send it to YKTTW. Plus it's long enough that it covers the weekend (I personally don't usually edit on weekends, and I'm sure there are others like me).

Main.Grand Entrance is a stub trope that has been launched in February 3rd 2013 and has been gathering dust since. Only one example (the rest are ZCE and one folder is completely blank). I see no difference between this trope and Main.Big Entrance. Also, indexing issues.
