pffffft haha, what?

Uh, Ragna, since you already have an accepteed character, I'm afraid you can't also be Charles Barkley. And that's totally the only reason I'm rejecting it.

Kage, Paulie, you're both in.

And with that, now is time for me to sleep. Talk to you tomorrow.

Gonna post two characters as a team here, the second one though is going to be R Ped by Moe if that's ok, since it feels weird to do so.

  • Name: Red
  • Species: Human
  • Age: 12
  • Appearance: So yeah just gonna stand here all badass and stuff...
  • Powers/skills: Can summon a few pokemon, Going by Yellow Arc (Except he has Pika) specifically Pikachu, Venusaur, Poliwrath, Snorlax, Aerodactyl, and Eevee(The special one that can evolve into all three original Eeveelutions)
  • History: stop after Yellow Arc. Uhm if you actually want me to type something out let me know. <.< I'm still a bit tired from working today.
  • Personality: Red wants to be the best, and does what he can to do so. He's kind though, and sentimental at times. Red refuses to battle an opponent at a disadvantage, and is very close to those he considers his friend. He treats even pokemon as if they were his best friends, and they kind of are. He's carefree almost all of the time, but can get serious when necessary. Red also tends to protect the weak.

And as Red's Teammate:

  • Name: Ash Ketchum*
  • Species: Human
  • Age: 10. Always ten, no matter how many years pass
  • Appearance: "I wanna be the very best..."
  • Powers/skills: On his own, nothing more than hotblooded tenacity and almost superhuman resilience and tolerance for pain. However, alongside him are four of his most trusted and loyal Pokemon: Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charizard. Looks amazing in a dress.
  • History: Oh dear god, um... Ignore everything past Battle Frontier. >.< Seriously, it's much easier to just link the wiki than for me to somehow condense all this crap into a condensed form.
  • Personality: Hotblooded, tenacious and almost stupidly stubborn. He possesses a single-minded determination towards his dream of becoming the world's greatest Pokemon Master, even if he still has a long way to go to achieve it. He's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, however, and his earnest, rash and, to be honest, gullible behaviour often gets him in over his head. He treats his Pokemon like they were his best friends (which they kind of are), and is especially close with Pikachu.

  • Name: Sakuko
  • Species: Stabilized Ghost
  • Age: ~335 *
  • Appearance: I can't find any good pictures, but similar to the person on the Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl page, if she cleaned up a bit, and had the Peek A Bangs hair style.
  • Powers/skills:
    • She is a stabilized ghost, so she can become intangible and/or invisible at will. *
    • With her ghost-energy-program armband she can create useful objects, and summon (AI-controlled) temporary allies to help her fight. (Nothing too outrageous, and there is a total power limitation on this ability.)
    • She can fly or levitate to a certain extent as well, but this is much easier when she is intangible.
    • She also hits with enhanced power, but isn't exactly very fast.
    • Finally, as a side effect of her ghost nature, she can eat or drink practically anything, without any real effect.
  • History: Originally a normal girl in Japan during the 17th century, she became a ghost, but with no real purpose or way of fulfilling her ties, she existed aimlessly for nearly 300 years. In 2019, she was rescued and stabilized into her current form by a group of ghost-energy programmers, and now works for an Afterlife Tech Support Agency.
  • Personality: Granted a new life, Sakuko has decided to take advantage of it to the fullest extent, which includes partying, kicking ghost butt, and generally having a good time. She is rather frank and confident (but not rude) and always knows how to have a good time. Her hobbies include karaoke, martial arts, dance parties, and reading manga, and her favorite snacks are Ghost Pepper Chilies.
  • Other: She is from a series (Paranormal Programs) that I'm writing (but isn't finished yet.)

  • Name: Uryū Ishida
  • Species: Human (Quincy)
  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: I have a message for Screwloose: Tell him a Quincy is here!
  • Powers/skills:
    • Reishi Manipulation: As a Quincy, he has the ability to take Reishi from the atmosphere and combine it with his own Reiryoku to create weapons and abilities.
    • Ginrei Kojaku: A bow of pure Reishi which can fire 1200 simultaneous arrows at once. The Quincy bow is made by gathering Reishi into their Quincy cross and the arrows they release are also of Reishi
    • Ransōtengai: A Quincy technique where the user controls their body with strings of Reishi much like a puppet, to allow themselves to fight effectively even in the case of paralysis, broken limbs, or other conditions where they could not move freely.
    • Hirenkyaku: This ability allows the user to quickly travel over short distances. It can also be used to air walk or hover and Uryu can use this ability to create platforms of Reishi.
    • Seele Schneider: A sword-like weapon whose blade is bright blue. The blade is composed entirely of Reishi and revolves at around 3,000,000 times per second.
    • Gintō: A small cylinder of about 5cm in height holds the Reiryoku of the Quincy. By utilizing it, a Quincy can use technique similar to spells.
      • Heizan: This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from the silver tubes which then slices through the opponent.
      • Gritz: This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target.
      • Wolke: This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast used to cushion a fall.
      • Sprenger: This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal which, when activated, causes a massive explosion within its borders. When an object or a person stands within the middle of the Pentagon, the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider can trap them by wrapping and binding their legs to the ground with dense spirit particles. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The Gintō acts as the trigger. This technique requires lots of preparation and should be executed if you have a team member to stall for time.
    • Superhuman Sewing Ability: He can easily and dramatically stitch anything in seconds. That's how good he is.
  • History: As a child, Uryu spent most of his time with his grandfather, learning the ways of the Quincy. His father did not approve, but Uryu persisted nonetheless. When his grandfather was killed, he began to hate Soul Reapers. However, after he meets a substitute Soul Reaper called Ichigo Kurosaki, he goes on several Soul Reaper related adventures, and even helps them defeat their enemies on several occasions.
  • Personality: He's usually aloof and stoic, but tries to act cool around other people. He also prefers to incapacitate his opponents instead of using lethal force. He loves sewing with a passion and won't hesitate to stitch anything for anyone. He may be rather melodramatic at times and has a strong sense of justice and chivalry, operating by a moral code he calls "The Pride of the Quincy".
  • Other: This is him from a month after the defeat of Aizen. He's left handed too.

Reishi: Spirit Particles Reiryoku: Spirit Energy Just in case there was confusion.

I think I'm going to try shoving one of my characters from a quick-dead RP in here, as they were a character I rather wanted to use and it was stated that one could use a dead-RP character. I will admit some of this is just copy-pasted from the last sign-up sheet, but that's logical. Enough.

  • Name: Ignatius Bellator
  • Species: Human
  • Age: 14
  • Appearance: Generally thin and (relatively for age) tall human youth. Pale skinned with jet black hair cut short except for a large portion spread down to cover the left eye socket, where the eye has been heavily mutilated, leaving it entirely non-functional. The remaining eye is a dark brown with a small circle of blue inside (central heterochromia), which was also the case with the now-missing eye. Missing right ear and the middle fingers of both hands, all down to stumps. Only possessing of a single set of clothing, basic generic black clothing, heavily torn and tattered. Adaptations to clothing in order to have a sheath for small dagger on waist and carry a large shovel on back.
  • Powers/skills: "Black" magical abilities, focused on death, with three main abilities; Summoning basic undead from corpses, speaking to the spirits of the cooperative dead and draining life from others (requires direct skin contact, intention to be used, and would take several minutes to even knock the victim unconscious, let alone actually kill them). Also reasonable at survival, stealth and stealing, and pretty good at digging.
  • History: Lived for the earliest part of his live as the only child of a normal peasant family in a harsh kingdom under the rule of an iron-fisted king. His parents spoke up against the king, and were made to watch him being tortured (how he lost the eye, ear and fingers), then killed. He was left for dead and dumped in a forest but was found by a magical healer and as such managed to survive. For the next six years of his life he lived alone, wandering across the land with a focus only on survival, mainly using theft and hunting with both dagger and magic, and on occasion participating in fairly random tasks or honing skills.
  • Personality: Cold and heavily unemotional. Generally prone to large extents of apathy and under-reaction, and unmotivated for most things other than survival. Rarely fully trusting of others, but willing to work with most people he sees as potentially helpful.
  • Other: Tends to rob graves and and steal corpses to practise death magic, hence the shovel and digging, and always speaks in an emotionless monotone, as well as showing no emotion through anything else.

Have a character I've been unable to find somewhere else to play, but judging by all who've been accepted he'd be WAY underpowered. More specifically the lack of any powers would be why it might be not such a good idea.

Hailing from a stillborn RP called Rebirth of Legends here my Sign up comes!

  • Name: Ainslie Raines
  • Species: Human (Loli)
  • Age: 10
  • Appearance: Like this
  • Powers/skills: Ainslie is an exceptional story teller and writer, particularly regarding genres such as fantasy or horror and if she really puts her mind to it she can be quite commanding and show talent for leadership. She is also surprisingly good at various games, especially all forms of strategy games.

Ainslie also wields Joyeuse, the holy sword of Charlemagne, but here it is no ordinary sword, indeed not! It has the power to control light in all of it's forms and due to it containing several holy relics it can practically make something like a vampire combust upon contact (It can also mask itself as a pen).

  • History: The first and largest thing about Ainslie is that she is Charlemagne reincarnated into a little girl. She does not know this herself however and thinks that Joyeuse is just some kind of magic sword. But now onto more recent things! Ainslie has had a pretty normal childhood for the most of her life but one day when she was seven a group of kids in high school started to terrorize her on the way to school and that lasted for two weeks until 'she' appeared, another older girl, though not as old as the high schoolers and she somehow managed to make them leave Ainsly alone. Ever since has Ainslie admired this girl whose name is Penelope Drake (AKA King Arthur Reincarnated as a teenage girl)
  • Personality: Ainslie is a bit shy and afraid in real life despite loving horror and fantasy movies and stories, both hearing them and writing them. Also if she well puts her mind to something she is usually quite stubborn in completing the task and will often use her most deadly weapon: Puppy dog eyes! inorder to make people let her do those things.
  • Other: Joyeuse is a 110 cm long one-handed sword but Ainslie is small enough (125 cm tall) to have to wield it with two hands.

  • Name: Nana
  • Species: Human
  • Age: 20's-ish.
  • Appearance: Disguised form.Regular non-disguised form. Even then, his appearance can keep changing because of a rather large selection of clothes and make-up he takes everywhere he goes.
  • Powers/skills: Nana is skilled at strategies revolving around bluffs and negotiations, preferring non-violent methods. Though if push comes to shove, he's capable of destroying power armor and robots by going after weak points (it's in his training manual). He's also quite agile and can endure a fair of punishment.
    • Nana can also use a strange technique simply named "Fox", which increases his defense, strength, and reaction times quite substantially (though he's limited in its usage due to not knowing how to fully utilize it.) If he is cut diagonally on his wound scar, his previous (and much more combative) persona emerges as a self defense mechanism, simply known as "First".
  • History: An amnesiac man who joined the anti-war organization Tripeace, Nana made a promise to those who died to "completely eradicate war". Nowadays, he travels around the world in missions designed to cut off war before it can happen, as well as participate in peace efforts. His past was a mystery, though he seems to have some connection to another certain organization with shady ideals. Also known for crossdressing and confusing the heck out of his opponents with his weird plans.
  • Personality: Amicable and curious describes Nana in a nutshell. He's a friendly chap who's good with children and a nice guy all around, though he's a bit stubborn. Due to "Extreme Amnesia", he's a bit out there. (He once tried to eat eggs and sausages with wasabi, and didn't know what a gun was.)
  • Other: He has a wide variety of vocal ranges to help with his disguises.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.

OC's? Yay~

  • Name: Maria de la Mort
  • Species: Grim Reaper. Where she's from, this is an entire species, dedicated to moving the souls of the dead across. Despite looking pretty creepy and tending to speak with an echoey voice, they're no more evil or dark than most other people. Well, aside from the whole 'finds graveyards and such comforting' thing.
They tend not to die easily; their most advanced magical technique is actually consciously harnessing a survival mechanism. As such, unless it's a one-hit KO or they're unconscious, wounds tend not to do more than slow them for a few hours.
  • Age: Objectively, around a hundred. Subjectively—as in, in comparison to her own people—about thirteen or fourteen, and just starting to get some real life experience.
  • Appearance: One of those arms is bone and one isn't actually there. Which is which, though?
  • Powers/skills:
    • Perfect Intangibility: Given the need to not be noticed and to get at corpses in mines and the like, Maria can become intangible and invisible to practically everything not specifically designed to counter her. She hasn't got much practice, though, so the intangibility takes five to ten seconds to set in (longer if there's a lot of distractions) and the invisibility up to a minute.
    • Reaper's Scythe: To normal people, it's just a bizarre scythe that hurts but doesn't actually leave wounds—though enough strikes will still kill—and is better dodged due to its tendency to go through weapons and armour*. If you're a lich, undead, or generally something that should long ago have shrugged your mortal coil, then each strike is incredibly painful and the third is likely to cause you to explode. Again, she doesn't have much practice, so whilst she has the motions down, she doesn't have any combat experience.
    • Death Reversal: A type of healing magic, generally only taught to the older reapers, this works by removing anything potentially fatal. So, it can't heal scratches, but if you have a broken arm and are not 100% safe, it can slowly heal the arm. The most accomplished practitioners can outright resurrect someone, though they rarely do so, but Maria's... not that good. At most, she can heal mortal wounds in five or ten minutes.
  • History: Maria was born in her home world, something trapped in Medieval Stasis but gradually clawing its way towards modern standards by dint of replacing technology with magic. Given that her exact home was basically one flimsy barrier away from being inside the largest temple to the God of the Dead in the world, she's generally been treated as nobility, close to royalty, and got longer and more comprehensive training than the majority—including an early start on Death Reversal.
Just as she was about to get her first experience 'on the job', so to speak, she was plucked away for... stuff. Somewhat unfortunate, really.
  • Personality: Maria... well, she likes things normal people are scared of. Corpses, graveyards, funerals... perhaps even more so than most of her species. She even has a bisected (missing its lower half) plush bunny rabbit tucked into the back of her obi. Despite this, though, she's easily scared by threats to her own safety. It's the aftermath she's used to, not the stuff beforehand; she's as liable to panic when confronted by a wounded person than most others.
So, aside from being excessively creepy, she's pretty friendly.
  • Other: Excellent, excellent night vision (if there's any light, she can see fine) but can't make out any details in direct sunlight and keeps her eyes mostly closed.

EDIT: It's been pointed out to me that the 'unblockable' thing probably looks a lot worse than intended. Umm... basically, since the weapon doesn't make functioning any harder—aside from increasing amounts of pain*

—and it takes a dozen or more hits to kill a normal person, after the first one or two, you'd know to dodge rather than try and block. It's a ridiculously inefficient weapon, all the fact that it passes through stuff does is make it easier to keep the momentum up and get the element of surprise. ^^;

Okilly-dokilly, here's my stab at sort of an OC:

•Name: Angelo, more commonly referred to as 'Angie' or 'Angelica'

•Species: Human

•Age: Late teens

•Appearance: More or less

•Powers/skills: Much to his consternation, very good at makeup and other things necessary for his 'job' as a 'Princess of St. Alfynor's Bardic School'. Fairly good at running away and hiding, since that was his tactic for dealing with hordes of admirers at the bards' school. Despite it all actually a fairly talented musician and storyteller, albeit a self-hating one at times; is somewhat capable of picking up objects cast aside and using them to hit things ('hit it with a stick!').

Only has one power to speak of that's not something a normal person could do - the ability to produce a mallet of fairly intimidating size from a small pouch (others would call it a purse) he carries with him, which itself functions as sort of a Bag of Holding. Of course, having rather spotty luck in life the mallet doesn't always come out when needed, often replaced by absolutely nothing or random things like vials of ink, squeaky dog toys and day old Kaiser rolls. It also serves to contain his fairly wide ranging wardrobe of girls' clothing - mens' being absent due to circumstances beyond his control.

•History: Angelo had such high hopes for a promising career that would let him travel in his typical Western-fantasy type world. Much more exciting than sitting around a workshop manufacturing spoons for the next 40 years of his life (his father's occupation); his mother was always away from home on 'business' (adventuring and the like). He was told he was too small to be a warrior, so he decided that being a bard might be pretty cool. Problem was no one told him how expensive the nearest training institution, the prestigious and all-male St. Alfynor's, was. His luck seemed to be in when the director of the school said he was eligible for a special program that would pay for the costs of his education there as well as meals, boarding and a bit of petty cash on the side for personal use. Once he'd signed to dotted line, it was revealed that for convoluted reasons, the school had a program in which the more bishonen (not the term they used of course) of students were selected to 'brighten the drudgery of an all-male institution.. by dressing as women. And attending official events.

To make matters worse for Angelo, resistance to the program once the agreement was reached meant a powerful curse would be invoked to ensure cooperation. No one else had ever tried to dodge duties and run like Angelo did, so no one knew just what the extent of the curse would be. Turns out it somehow makes the 'princess of the school' allergic, to put it simply, to mens' clothing. And no known power in existence can break it. Which hurts Angelo's plans of getting in good with the ladies. He did some minor adventuring after graduating, but was permanently stuck in girly mode because of his own stubbornness. And adventuring revealed to him just how useless a bard can be in a fight - someone even grimly joked once about 'hiding behind the mound of dead bards'. Luckily, or maybe not, he was yoinked away from a rather boring outing and brought to a new place. Where that curse somehow is still in effect.

•Personality: Most people who went to school with him would tell you 'Angie' can be really stubborn, which did in fact lead to his curse. He hates being teased about his predicament and lashes out verbally as it's really his major outlet for frustration. Of course he also just attracts more attention to himself when he pouts or rants, which somehow makes him more cute. When not upset over that he's actually a pretty reasonable guy and handles things in a down to earth manner. Actually quite sociable and while he won't admit as much, can be empathetic. In addition to being upset over the whole cursed thing, he's also kind of at odds with even being a bard sometimes - especially when fighting seems like a likely outcome of a situation. He'll make fun of how useless bards are just as much as the next person, even though he does take pride in his talents. It's just that he doesn't show it as often as he might.

•Other: His natural hair is fairly short, but due to the curse he's just found it easier to wear a wig most of the time.

Fine, I'll sign up.

  • Name: Marle
  • Species: Human
  • Age: 16
  • Appearence: Here is a link.
  • Powers: Marle has ability to healing magic and ice magic. While Marle is very good at both types of magic, she cannot bring the dead back to life and she herself is not good at physical attacks relying on a crossbow if she has to fight physically. Marle is also more susceptable to fire damage than most people.
  • History: Marle is, in fact, Princess Nadia, daughter of the King of Guardia in 1000 AD. She snuck out during the fair celebrating of the first millenium of Guardia's existance and bumped (literally) into Crono. After enjoying the fair's games and food, Marle eventually tries out the telepod invented by Crono's friend Lucca. Because of a strange reaction to the pendant, she is sent 400 years into the past. Being mistaken for her then-kidnapped ancestor, Queen Lenne, she ends up jeopardizing her own existence and ceasing to exist. However, because Crono and Lucca followed Marle into the past, they end up saving Queen Lenne themselves with the help of Frog and returning Marle to existence. After returning to their own time, Crono is put on trial for the kidnapping of Princess Nadia. After a daring escape through another time portal, Crono, Marle, and Lucca are sent to 1300 years into the future, where they discover that a terrible monster known as Lavos will rain destruction upon their planet in the year 1999 AD. After this and allying with a broken-down robot that Marle dubbed Robo, Crono, Marle and Lucca began their adventure through time. Eventually teaming up with Ayla, Marle's ancestor from Prehistory, Magus, an enigmatic sorcerer in 600 AD, as well as previous ally Frog, they ended up stopping Lavos from destroying the world in 1999 AD.
  • Personality: Marle is vivacious, optimistic, and strong-willed. She's also a tomboy and rebellious. She believes wholeheartedly that one's fate can be changed.

Stanman; The thing that worries me is that it seems like he'd just completely dominate any fights that might happen, especially with the twelve hundred arrows thing and the superfast chainsaw laser sword.

It's essentially the ability to control the light that hits the blade and the immetiate area around it causing effects like change of colour, invisibility by bending the light around it or it's wielder (rendering the wielder blind though), gathering light around the blade and finally the power to essentially create lasers by focusing the light in a single direction
