[up] Im for it. Plus the Schindlers List quote, while I love the film, doesnt make it clear that its set during the Holocaust.

Some proposals for Breathless Non Sequitur from the examples:

"Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I'm on a horse."

She wondered if she was becoming obsessed. It had happened with her before: magic, friendship reports, centipedes. Probably just part of her personality. Fortunately, her friends were always there to keep her level.

"I'm sure you meant no harm, and I'm sure it was all just friendly banter and I'm sure you all have dicks the size of peanuts. Enjoy your meal — the tuna's really good."

Dr. Cox: [whistles sharply] What was that middle one?

Any advice on how to trim my suggestion for a quote for Creator.Lateef Crowder?

"You know, the secret is to always be ready. I'm always training. Whether it's martial arts, whether it's stunt training, whether it's weight training, just physical fitness. Always got to stay ready and just be ready to adapt."

The quote for Cute Mute doesn’t illustrate anything. Should I just cut it?

I find the quote funny, but it doesn't make the "cute" part quite clear, except for the fact she's a baby.

The page quote for One More Day if from the author, saying "Peter and MJ didn't quit on their love, they sacrificed it to save a life, that to me is a pretty heroic story. But then, I'm an idiot." [sic] Someone saying that about himself, it sounds suspicious. Being the top quote of a controversial work, even more so. And if we search it in google, the only result is TV tropes, forum pages and wikis. It is likely that God Never Said That.

[up] I'm all for removing it.

Bumping the current page quote for Legacy Immortality:

"I swear to devote my life to the destruction of piracy, greed, cruelty, and injustice, in all their forms, and my sons and their sons shall follow me."

I mean, I get the legacy part, but not the immortality. I've never read the Phantom, but I bet it is an example of Legacy Immortality, but the quote doesn't really show that.

Would this be suitable as a replacement for the Legacy Immortality quote?

The quote for Skippable Boss doesn’t give any indication that there’s a situation when the boss isn’t skipped (aside from being on the page).

[up]It's also a duplicate of the quote on Involuntary Suicide Mechanism, and it probably works better there.

The quote on Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy was recently changed from this:

"Ruined World + cast of Jerk = I don't care what happens to these guys"

to this:

The Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones, a body-count extravaganza even by the HBO series’ carnivorous standards, has boosted an unusual form of protest: sympathy for the ice zombies. Angry fans have taken to Twitter to declare that they are now rooting for #TeamWhiteWalkers, the undead army threatening to overrun the land and destroy humanity. The show’s world, Westeros, they say, is so horrible that it doesn’t deserve to survive, and besides, the White Walkers couldn’t be any worse than its current masters.

I think either quote is okay, but I'm mentioning it because the quote was changed without an edit reason.

Let's just say and leave it at that.

Not sure about the new quote, but the former quote is definitely misleading since DIAA often gets misused as a citation-less Eight Deadly Words.

I'm not fond of either quote to be honest, but I found this on the quotes subpage:

"People always say they want things dark, but if you don't have a plan to draw people out of that and show how these people overcome it, then you just leave your audience in despair."

There's a bunch of quotes, but I wanted to avoid one that targeted a single work.

Both Red Baron and Red Plica Baron use the same quote:

"Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty or more
The bloody Red Baron was rollin' up the score
Eighty men died trying to end that spree
Of the bloody Red Baron of Germany".
The Royal Guardsmen, "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron"

It doesn't quite illustrate the former trope as well, since it's not literally about the Red Baron but a character who's so cool they don't need anything but a nickname. (I wonder how often those tropes get confused?)

The quote on Black Blood illustrates the name but not the trope. The trope isn't literally about black blood, it's about blood not being red in general, generally for censorship (or art style) reasons.
