This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Some proposals for Breathless Non Sequitur from the examples:
Dr. Cox: [whistles sharply] What was that middle one?
The Todd: Laparoscopic?
Heather: Sugar, eggs, chocolate, marijuana, flour, and walnuts.
Gordon: You've been feeding us walnuts?!
Any advice on how to trim my suggestion for a quote for Creator.Lateef Crowder?
I like the Invader Zim one.
That looks fine.
my brain is a computer with 4k of ram. this is a jokes wikiThe quote for Cute Mute doesn’t illustrate anything. Should I just cut it?
SoundCloudI find the quote funny, but it doesn't make the "cute" part quite clear, except for the fact she's a baby.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. The page quote for One More Day if from the author, saying "Peter and MJ didn't quit on their love, they sacrificed it to save a life, that to me is a pretty heroic story. But then, I'm an idiot." [sic] Someone saying that about himself, it sounds suspicious. Being the top quote of a controversial work, even more so. And if we search it in google, the only result is TV tropes, forum pages and wikis. It is likely that God Never Said That.
Ultimate Secret WarsI'm all for removing it.
Bumping the current page quote for Legacy Immortality:
I mean, I get the legacy part, but not the immortality. I've never read the Phantom, but I bet it is an example of Legacy Immortality, but the quote doesn't really show that.

/ Yeah, both of those can be pulled.
Ok, pulled it and cited the forum.
Would this be suitable as a replacement for the Legacy Immortality quote?
No one knows that every four years, a new warrior is chosen.

Also I wanted to suggest the Homestar Runner quote from the Web Original folder for Wink "Ding!". What do you guys think?
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenGopher it
The quote for Skippable Boss doesn’t give any indication that there’s a situation when the boss isn’t skipped (aside from being on the page).
SoundCloudIt's also a duplicate of the quote on Involuntary Suicide Mechanism, and it probably works better there.
clearly things are going well.Anyone else have an opinion on the proposals for Breathless Non Sequitur?
I like the Invader Zim one.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢for the Invader Zim quote.
The quote on Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy was recently changed from this:
to this:
I think either quote is okay, but I'm mentioning it because the quote was changed without an edit reason.
Let's just say and leave it at that. Not sure about the new quote, but the former quote is definitely misleading since DIAA often gets misused as a citation-less Eight Deadly Words.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. The other quote is more like Rooting for the Empire.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm not fond of either quote to be honest, but I found this on the quotes subpage:
There's a bunch of quotes, but I wanted to avoid one that targeted a single work.
Yes, thats way better than either the current or the previous
Both Red Baron and Red Plica Baron use the same quote:
The bloody Red Baron was rollin' up the score
Eighty men died trying to end that spree
Of the bloody Red Baron of Germany".
It doesn't quite illustrate the former trope as well, since it's not literally about the Red Baron but a character who's so cool they don't need anything but a nickname. (I wonder how often those tropes get confused?)
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. The quote on Black Blood illustrates the name but not the trope. The trope isn't literally about black blood, it's about blood not being red in general, generally for censorship (or art style) reasons.

Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Im for it. Plus the Schindlers List quote, while I love the film, doesnt make it clear that its set during the Holocaust.
