Betty competes in an automobile race all while she has a cold with a rather destructive sneeze. (Bimbo and Koko can also be seen racing). Betty sings the song "I Got a Code in My Doze".
About 65 years after this cartoon debuted, Cartoon Network Groovies would make a music video mostly consisting of clips from this short, set to the Soul Coughing song "Rolling"

- Anti-Sneeze Finger: Betty and a few other characters do this.
- Appetite Equals Health: A lyric in the song is "I can't sleep, I can't eat."
- Blowing Smoke Rings: Inside Koko's car, a cartoon cat is making smoke rings with a cigar and blows them out the tailpipe; Betty's car travels through the smoke rings, moving it's wheels as if they were legs.
- Catch Your Death of Cold: In the song Betty mentions she got sick because she "didn't button up [her] overcoat".
- Fanservice: Betty's bra can be briefly seen when she turns her collar up.
- Failed a Spot Check: The spectators all go to the race using the same ticket that a mouse in the ticket stand is secretly sliding to the next customer and the security guard on duty looks the other way every time just in time to miss it.

- Sentient Vehicle: For the sake of humor, the cars briefly come to life with their headlights acting as eyes and their tires for limbs.
