Grow: Song of The Evertree is a Construction and Management Game developed by Prideful Sloth and published by 505 Games, released on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2021.

A long time ago, the city of Alaria flourished at the base of the Evertree. Its inhabitants, called Everheart Alchemists, grew worlds on its branches and released them into the multiverse. But then the Withering overtook the Evertree, reducing it to a sapling, and Alaria was abandoned. You play as the apprentice, the last of the alchemists, who has the power to restore the Evertree and Alaria to their former glory.

This game contains examples of:

  • Animate Inanimate Object: The apprentice was raised by Coppertop (a stove) and Book (a book).
  • Cuteness Proximity: The first time the apprentice encounters a wild critter, Book squees about its cuteness and starts talking in gibberish.
  • Eyes Do Not Belong There: Plants and rocks in the gross biome are covered in eyes.
  • Fantastic Flora: All the biomes have different styles of plants, flowers, and bushes. While they're fairly normal-looking in nature and desert worlds, ice worlds have trees with crystal trunks; princess worlds have plants shaped like hearts, stars, and pillars; fungus worlds have mushrooms instead; and gross worlds' plants have eyes or mouths.
  • Fungus Humongous: Worlds in the fungi biome are filled with giant mushrooms instead of trees and flowers. There are also giant mushrooms growing out of the cliffs in south-eastern Alaria.
  • Level Ate: Ice worlds can contain giant scoops of ice cream as scenery, and gross worlds can have wedges of cheese and Hawaiian pizzas.
  • Magic Music: The apprentice can sing to make plants grow faster, and clear away the Withering's vines once each district of Alaria has reached full harmony.
  • Meaningful Name: The Everkin all have names related to their professions — Elderkin is the village elder, Builderkin is a builder, etc.
  • Mushroom Man: Mycela are anthropomorphic mushrooms who can appear on fungi worlds. There's also a hidden group of them in Alaria's Mountainside Ward.
  • Springy Spores: Pink mushrooms with blue spots can be found throughout Alaria and the planted worlds, which can be bounced on to reach higher platforms. Sometimes they come in groups of three.
  • World Tree: Alchemists can create world seeds out of essences, then plant them on the Evertree's branches. Once they're fully-grown, they can be released into the multiverse.
