A long time ago, the city of Alaria flourished at the base of the Evertree. Its inhabitants, called Everheart Alchemists, grew worlds on its branches and released them into the multiverse. But then, the Withering overtook the Evertree, reducing it to a sapling, and Alaria became abandoned. You play as the apprentice, the last of the alchemists, who has the power to restore the Evertree and Alaria to their former glory.
