Trivia / The Adventures of Kid Danger

  • Acting for Two:
  • Creator Cameo: Dan Schneider lends his voice to various minor characters.
  • Creator Killer: For Dan Schneider, as while his career was already on questionable grounds prior, this show's troubled production (leading to mediocre animation) combined with its low ratings and being generally not very well-liked by fans of the original show resulted in it being cancelled within mere months with only 12 episodes having been produced, resulting in it being the shortest lived show Schneider had created which some fans believe was the reason why Nick ultimately let him go (while officially, Schneider was fired from Nick for being verbally abusive to the cast and crew on his shows, some believe that Nick was only using that as a convenient excuse to get rid of him and that this show's failure was the real reason for him getting fired).
  • Creators Odd Ball: Again, this is the first cartoon that Dan Schneider created, as well as the first of his shows that follows the 11 minute format instead of the 22 minute format.
  • Crossdressing Voices: One episode had Kid Danger turned into a baby, and voiced by Hynden Walch.
  • Franchise Killer: The series' negative reception, alongside creator Dan Schneider's departure the same year it premiered, pretty much killed off Schneider's long-running namesake Schneider's Bakery series of sitcoms (All That reboot notwithstanding). Any revival of those IPs ensured that Dan Schnieder has no involvement, with the only mention often being a legally-required credit to Dan for originally creating the IP.
  • The Other Darrin: Even though Drake Bell once again played Drake , the role of Josh was done by Sean Ryan Fox instead of Josh Peck.
  • Role Reprise: The principal voice cast for the live action series reprises their roles for the animated series.
  • Screwed by the Network: After 5 episodes, the show had all its encores removed due to low ratings and the other was later cancelled.
  • Troubled Production: According to a comment made on this video, the animation studio was far behind an already tight schedule, and that led to tons of animation errors that were ultimately corrected, but still within the tight deadline.
  • Voices in One Room: While Jace Norman has occasionally recorded by himself, the cast does generally do the voice sessions together.
