This is game with 25 different endings that need to be instantly memorable. Chances are, there are gonna be a few references.
- The poster unlocked for the Back to The Past/Future endings resembles Emmett Brown and Marty standing in front of a certain DeLorean.
- The Future ending takes the city to October 24, 2077 where it looks destroyed.
- One panel designed to accept "0" and "1" is labelled "Bender." Entering the right binary code causes a robot to appear and destroy the city. The use of binary is in itself a reference to "Bender's Big Score".
- Shining the lamp on it also shows "Ostap" written above it.
- The poster unlocked in the Space Invaders ending" is of one of the aliens.
- The Panda Ending is so-called because the poster unlocked for it resembles the World Wildlife Fund logo.
- After pushing the red button 70 times in one game session, "AWAITING INPUT" appears on the city screen. Completing this gives you an employee ID with the name "Stanley" on it.
- Taken even further in the 3D edition, with The Narrator himself providing commentary over the whole thing.
- Entering "2001" on the keypad and inserting a key launches a rocket into space, with a fetus on-screen in the foreground. The 3D version makes The Monolith appear as well.
- Occasionally an Obristani passport will come up that the player must reject for one of the endings.
- By using the UV light on the panel, you can find the Triforce and Pac-Man, amongst other things.
- Wrecking the printer with a hammer wins you a red stapler. One of the messages that can appear during this ending is even PC LOAD LETTER.
- One ending involves playing an early home computer game. While PDTA calls it "Red Baron," it strongly resembles Blitz from the VIC-20.
- The phone number on the wall has "Joshua?" written next to it. If you use the phone with the acoustic coupler modem and dial that number, the screen will invite you to play Tic-Tac-Toe. If you select zero players, the panel will reenact the final scene from the movie.
