The final three face off in the big finale challenge, where they must face lava, goats, and each other in order to claim the million dollar prize.

Tropes:

  • Back for the Finale: For the first time since Revenge of the Island, not counting Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, every single eliminated contestant returns in the finale.
  • Bittersweet Ending: For Bowie. He doesn't manage to win the million, but he gets to start a relationship with Raj.
  • Breaking Old Trends: This is the first finale in the franchise to have only one ending.
  • Brick Joke: Back in "Pirates of the Cabbagean" when Zee was revealed to have a prosthetic leg, Ripper was initially under the wrong impression that he was a robot. Here, Zee does "The Robot" in the Dance Party Ending.
  • Call-Back:
    • The way the winner claims the final marshmallow with the prize presented to them and the eliminated contestants cheering in the background is reminiscent of the final marshmallow ceremony from "The Very Last Episode, Really!".
    • Two towards Pahkitew Island.
      • The finalists once again get an eliminated helper to aid them in the final challenge, though this time it's less likely that the selection is rigged.
      • The final two are once again hidden from the audience as one crosses the finish line and the other doesn't. The winner is decided by sheer luck.
  • Cavalry Betrayal: Bowie's helper is Julia, who is openly rooting against him. She ditches him to work on his raft by himself, forcing him to improvise and allowing Millie and Priya to hash things out while Bowie catches up.
  • Convection, Schmonvection: The contestants paddle through lava with no ill effects from the heat, on wooden rafts that should logically combust upon getting near lava, let alone touch it.
  • Dance Party Ending: Once the winner claims the money, the season ends with Chris telling all the competitors that they are all invited for a re-match the following season, after which everyone (with the sole exception of Axel) proceeds to have a dance party.
  • Dumbass Has a Point: When Zee complains that the name "Wheel of Losers" is "unnecessalary harsh", some of the other eliminated campers join him in and give several alternative name suggestions.
  • Exhaustion-Induced Idiocy: For what it's worth, Millie probably wouldn't have listened to Ripper's plan if she hadn't been crying all night.
  • Graceful Loser: Bowie is a bit bummed over having lost to her, but he is also shown to be happy for her when she rightfully claims the prize money.
  • Hammerspace: Lampshaded when in Bowie's confessional when he puts on a crown, before saying that it's been in his pocket this whole time.
  • Irony: The final two, Priya and Bowie, were potentially on the chopping block for elimination in "Paddle Field Earth" had Zee not gotten overconfident and announced mutiny against Chris and got himself eliminated instead.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: After seeing Priya teamed up with Bowie, the latter tells Millie that he wasn’t the one writing mean things about a supposed best friend.
  • Manly Tears: Damian, Raj, and Wayne are all moved to tears when they witness Millie and Priya’s tearful reconciliation of their friendship
  • Moving The Goal Posts: Chef decides to have the finalists milk a mother goat and drink it in the spur of the moment. Chris is surprised by his sudden ruthlessness.
  • Pet the Dog: The majority of the eliminated campers, including Julia and Ripper, cheer for Priya after she wins. Ripper is even seen doing this twice.
  • Sickening Sweethearts: Chase and Emma have pretty much become this. Emphasis on Sickening.
  • Take a Third Option: Millie performs Engineered Heroics in an attempt to make Priya jump onto her raft, as opposed to falling in the lava. Rather than do either, Priya jumps onto Bowie's raft instead.
  • Tempting Fate: After Bowie vomits into his Orb, Priya states she's really good at not vomiting, only for her to vomit moments later (stating except when she sees someone else do doing so).
  • Tragic Bromance: Or in this case, a Tragic Womance. Priya and Millie's friendship has completely crumbled thanks to Bowie's interference last episode. Priya has lost all faith in her with Millie desperately trying to fix things again. At the end, Millie shares her own insecurities and how Priya had helped her overcome them (something she wrote but Bowie ripped out of her notebook) which helps Priya to forgive her and they reconcile.
  • Vehicular Sabotage: On Ripper's suggestion, Millie frays the ropes on Priya's raft so Priya will have to choose between falling in the water when her raft falls apart, or be rescued by Millie. It turns out they'll be rowing through lava, which only makes Millie feel more guilt.
