Now, it's up to Marceline, Basil, and Discord to handle the Antichrist, Lucifer. Joining him are the 7 Deadly Sins. Soon, the battle is on and our heroes win. Done deal, right?
WRONG. Lucifer savagely beats them into submission and breaks them down by talking about their faults and how pathetic he sees them as. In the end, they come home with their bodies and dignities bruised and battered.
Meanwhile, Necrosan returns from his meeting with Nyarlathotep...
- Accidental Murder: Pride accidentally destroys Lust with a beam attack.
- Broke Your Arm Punching Out Cthulhu: Marceline (in the literal sense) and Discord (through dismemberment) against Lucifer.
- Conservation of Ninjutsu: 3 against 7. Guess who comes out on top?
- Death Seeker: Lucifer accuses Discord of being this.
- Dramatic Thunder: When Sir mentions Lucifer.
- Dwindling Party: The 7 Deadly Sins suffer this. Lust is accidentally killed by Pride, Wrath is destroyed by a beam cannon Discord makes, Gluttony is blown up by his own stomach gases and Basil's fires, Envy is decapitated and then fire is sent down his neck, Greed has his limbs hacked off until the life leaves him, and Pride is killed by Lucifer.
- Exact Words: Marceline, in a fit of frustration, claims that Lust is going down first. She does indeed. Not by her hand, though.
- High-Altitude Battle: The battle with the 7 Deadly Sins and Lucifer takes place in this.
- Hyperspeed Ambush: Our heroes are immediately attacked by all of what the 7 Deadly Sins have.
- Kick the Dog: Lucifer starts doing this like mad near the end.
- Leave Me Alone!: Marceline definitely feels this way after Lucifer's little talk.
- Red Sky, Take Warning
- Rage Breaking Point: Once Lucifer insults her punk lifestyle and her Hambo, the gloves come off for Marceline...it ends rather badly.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Big time. Lucifer delivers one so great, so big, that it can't fit on this page. Needless to say, by the end, Marceline, Basil, and Discord are feeling more than a bit down.
- Breaking Speech: Doubles as this.
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: The team attempts this with Lucifer and, obviously, it doesn't work.
- Song Fic: The battle with Lucifer plays to a special version of 02's theme.
- Suddenly Shouting: Lucifer does this when chastising Discord.
- Suicidal Overconfidence: It doesn't seem this way at first, but the team is WOEFULLY unprepared for Lucifer's true power.
- Villainous Breakdown: Pride has one before being killed.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Until the finale, we never see Sloth appear in the battle.
- You Have Failed Me: Lucifer kills Pride without a second thought.
