The Toad Rebellion commences and while everyone fights to reclaim the city, Luz must fight for her life against Beatrix.
Tropes That Appear In This Chapter:
- Batman Gambit: To keep Beatrix and her troops from joining the invasion after recieving Sasha's note about Luz no longer having her Calamity powers, Luz uses her glyphs to convince them otherwise, keeping Beatrix at the Arena long enough for help to arrive.
- Big Damn Heroes: The frog rebellion keeps the toad army from invading the city. Everyone later comes to Luz and Amara's rescue at the Arena, Lilly fighting Beatrix while Anne and Marcy evacuate the injured Luz.
- Big "WHAT?!":
- Sasha's reaction after finding out that Beatrix is fighting Luz, despite the change of plans.

- Andrias getting freed from the dungeon is decided to occur after the rebellion is foiled.

- Grime learns about Sasha's crush on Anne and her jealousy towards Luz. Before then, Anne, Hop Pop, Polly and Marcy learn the latter after King Andrias is taken prisoner.

- Multi-Part Episode: This chapter serves as part one of Arc 4's two-part finale.

- Once More, with Clarity: How Sasha started to hear the voice in her head when she was doing the Scare Dare is revealed.
- Precision F-Strike: Luz calls Sasha a bitch for telling Beatrix she no longer has her powers.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Besides her canon speech about Sasha being a horrible person Anne, upon realizing Sasha's been jealous of Luz after she tries to get her and Marcy to abandon her again, caps it off by saying Luz is a better person than Sasha will ever be. - The Voice is actually Emperor Belos, who started telepathically communicating with Sasha when she touched the green goop from his childhood mask in the abandoned house.

- Lilly gained magical powers of her own ever since she earned the Masamune and through training with water magic, Gustav found a water glyph.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Upon witnessing Bufo's death, some of the toads start to retreat and both armies do so when the Red Heron arrives on the scene.
- Took a Level in Badass: Ever since she acquired the Masamune, Lilly has become an adept swordfighter and learned water magic.
- We Can Rule Together: As a half-assed attempt to get Anne to stay in Amphibia instead of going home, Sasha offers Anne become her queen for the sake of the frog population. Naturally, Anne refuses and proceeds to give Sasha her canon "Reason You Suck" Speech.
- Wham Episode: Luz learns about Marcy's deal with Andrias to travel to other worlds from Amara, the toad invasion kicks off, Lilly and Gustav have learned about glyph magic and found one for water magic, Grime discovers Sasha's feelings for Anne, Beatrix nearly kills Luz and the invasion's stopped with Anne severing her friendship with Sasha for putting Luz's life in danger on top of everything else.
- Wham Shot: Sasha enters the abandoned house and finds a wooden mask with antlers, which she puts on and finds had green sludge on it.
- Worthy Opponent: After being spat in the face by Luz, Beatrix commends her for her courage despite being heavily injured.
