The Tobin's find themselves once again snowed in. And Beef's attempts to keep them from going stir crazy again soon begin getting under everyone's skin.
Tropes:
- Bottle Episode: The majority of the episode is set inside the Tobin house, which makes sense since there is a blizzard going on outside.
- Couch Gag:
- The boat in the opening is "Trout's Honor".
- Wolf's T-Shirt says "Tootie and the Beast".
- Exact Words: Moon agreed to no Moon Court during the storm, but they said nothing about a Moon Court Marshal.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: The yeti can be spotted at the very end of the episode where everyone is outside on the front porch and the yeti's leg can be spotted on the left side near Beef.
- I Never Said It Was Poison: Beef realizes that Jerry was the one who ate the candied potatoes when the latter quotes from the wrapper despite allegedly having never seen one before.
- In Medias Res: The episode begins with the outside of the Tobin house being shown snowed in while the family's voices are heard screaming inside. Then a time card is shown with a flashback revealing what happened three days earlier.
- Lice Episode: Downplayed. Mr. Golovkin is isolated for having lice, but this doesn't affect the plot otherwise. The ending implies that everyone got lice anyway.
- The Mutiny: While being treated as a ship, everyone was on the verge to mutiny against Beef for constantly making them do chores the entire time during the blizzard while also going insane. What finally makes them mutiny is when they believe Beef has eaten all of the candied potatoes and they put him on trial.
- Rage Breaking Point:
- While everyone has started getting frustrated with Beef making everyone do chores around the house during the duration of the blizzard, Moon finally loses it and goes to confront Beef when Beef decides to allow everyone to have dessert again but only gives them a piece of dark chocolate, which according to Moon, is basically a vegetable.
- Jerry admits this is why he ate the candied potatoes and framed Beef. He got sick of being The Confidant to Beef as he slowly went mad.
- Sanity Slippage: As with the last time they were snowed in, the Tobins go cuckoo bananas. It's particularly bad with Beef, who was ironically trying to stop everyone from going mad.
- Sequel Episode: To "Code Enough Said Adventure", which also had the Tobins snowed in; the events of that episode are referenced when Beef talks about the last time it happened.
- Shout-Out:
- In the depths of his madness, Beef starts to think he's turning into Santa Claus like Tim Allen in The Santa Clause.
- At one point Moon describes Beef as going “Master and Bananas”
- Snowed-In: The Tobins, plus Jerry and Mr. Golovkin, are trapped inside during a snowstorm. To keep things from going out of control, Beef treats the situation as if he were a captain in the British Royal Navy, instituting a strict regimen of chores, but that just makes the others resent him and try to mutiny.
- Varying Competency Alibi: Exploited by Jerry. The reason why Jerry has gotten away with eating the candied potatoes for so long during the blizzard is because everyone knows that he's a Nice Guy and no one would ever suspect him of doing it, which he's fully aware of.
♫ Storm snakes gonna get you
Stay away from slumber
(Storm snakes)
They're gonna bring the thunder
They feast on REM and lemonade
So stay awake and be afraid
(Storm snakes)
Making normies quake
(Storm snakes)
Priests doing double takes, yeah
Tuck yourself in and kiss your kids goodbye
From the depths of the sky they're gonna rain down
Their scales are made of fury
And their screams are made of sound, storm snakes. ♫
