Maggie and her friends head to the human world to go trick-or-treating.
Tropes:
- All for Nothing: Maggie risking the trio’s lives in the human world and getting Pupert sick on candy ends up being a waste after Pupert eats the entire King Choco bar. She’s able to bring back the wrapper to show Aldrin, but he still doesn’t believe her and ends up laughing in her face anyway.
- Aside Glance: Rayna gives one to the audience when Maggie brushes off Pupert’s sugar high.
- Big Ball of Violence: Happens when Aldrin is fighting a giant hamster for a King Choco bar in a Flashback to the previous year’s Halloween.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Pupert feeling sick the day after his Halloween candy binge is treated like a hangover.Pupert: That whole night’s a blur.
- Expressive Hair: Maggie’s Bride of Frankenstein hair droops when she comes to the conclusion that she might never get a King Choco bar.
- Foot Bath Treatment: Maggie’s parents are both sick with colds and are seen treating themselves with this method.
- Green Around the Gills: Maggie’s parents because they have a cold and Pupert after he makes himself sick by eating too much Halloween candy.
- Halloween Episode: Maggie and Rayna want to spend Halloween hunting for the elusive King Choco bar in the human world, but her parents make her take Pupert with them.
- Honor Before Reason: Pupert is clearly overdosing on sugar and Rayna tries to convince Maggie to call it a night, but she’s too determined to keep Aldrin from laughing at her again to stop before getting a King Choco bar.
- Imaginary Friend: The girls try to convince Pupert that he’s old enough to go candy hunting in the human world with them by pointing out how he doesn’t have his imaginary friend Frampkin anymore. He hesitantly agrees with them, but it’s revealed that he very much still believes in Frampkin.
- Liquid Courage: When told he needs to be brave, a sugar-crazed Pupert bites a hole out of a Rolo-style candy and drinks the caramel out of it.Pupert: I got all the brave I need right here!
- MacGuffin: Despite all of the giant pieces of human candy Maggie gets, none of it matters to her if she can’t find a King Choco bar.
- Laugh of Love: When Maggie tells Rayna to join her in laughing at Aldrin and George, she keeps screwing it up. First Rayna starts off with giggling flirtatiously at them and then switches to an Evil Laugh.
- Rays from Heaven: A heavenly light shines on the King Choco bar that the girls finally spot from the distance, accompanied with an Ethereal Choir.
- Sugar Causes Hyperactivity: Pupert after he starts eating the giant candy.Rayna: I think junior here might be a tad overstimulated.
- Tears of Joy: Maggie sheds tears when she finally spots the coveted King Choco bar.
- Title Drop:Maggie: Hey buddy, are you ready to go home or are you ready for the big score?
- Trophy Room: Aldrin keeps all his giant candy from past Halloweens in his trophy collection.
- Victorious Chorus: Plays in the background after Pupert bites a trick-or-treater and makes him drop his King Choco bar.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: Pupert runs off to the bathroom to throw up all the Halloween candy he ate.Pupert: I think I may have your proof, but it won’t look too good in a trophy case!
- Wingding Eyes: Maggie’s eyes turn into hearts as she says, “This is the best Halloween ever!" The hearts then shatter after Pupert eats the chocolate bar she worked so hard to get.
