Sky is the new girl in town and she’s already being pushed around by the popular kids. But when a chance encounter with a drug dealer leads to her getting her hands on a vial of Compound V, she soon finds friends in the most unexpected of places.

This short contains examples of:

  • A Girl And Her X: Parodied. We have Sky the girl and her magical living turd Areola.
  • Animesque: This short has a very cutesy moe style.
  • Bathos: A heartwarming story about friendship and loyalty - featuring a girl and her talking piece of poop as protagonists.
  • Comically Small Bribe: Vought offers Sky a measly $1000 and a refurbished tablet in exchange for her silence.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Unusually for a The Boys property, Sky and Areola actually do get to live happily ever after, no strings attached. Even though they have to defy both Vought and the Deep to do it.
  • Gory Discretion Shot: Parodied. When The Deep leaves the drug dealer to get eaten by the shark, we cut away to the sky as he screams and there's a cut to black. Then we see the shark eating him alive, before another cut to black and the next scene actually starts.
  • Heart Is an Awesome Power: Apparently bringing poop to life is a more functional power than one might think. At least psychologically.
  • Husky Russkie: The Russian drug dealer, courtesy of Seth Rogen’s performance.
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain: The Deep is still treated like a joke here, but feeding a man to a shark proves he can be dangerous in his own right.
  • The Power of Friendship: Parodied and the overall theme of the short. The emotional core comes from Sky and Areola's friendship and Sky manages to overpower the Deep by summoning even more fecal friends to come to her aid.
  • Properly Paranoid: The drug dealer freaks out whenever he sees anything that remotely reminds him of the ocean or marine life, as he's afraid any fish he encounters might rat him out to the Deep. While it's never specified if it was a fish that's responsible, the Deep does end up finding and killing the drug dealer.
  • Scream Discretion Shot: Subverted. After the Deep sics his shark on the captive drug dealer, the camera pans upward and all we hear is the drug dealer screaming. Then it cuts right back to the scene and we get to see his disembowelment in all its gruesome detail. What, you actually thought a The Boys property would shy away from gore?
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Once the Deep realizes what Sky’s powers are, he decides getting back into the Seven isn't worth… this.
  • Talking Poo: Sky’s powers allow her to bring fecal matter to life and control it.
  • Toilet Humour: The backbone of the story's premise is Sky gaining the power to bring feces to life after all.
  • Vocal Dissonance: The teenaged Sky is voiced by the adult Awkwafina who has gone on record as admitting she sounds like “a fifty-eight year old divorce attorney” to quote her page.
  • With Friends Like These...: The popular kids do nothing but push Sky around and take advantage of her. Sky realizes this herself in the end and leaves them for Areola, but not before leaving a little present in Tif's coffee.
