With the Master's return, the final battle dawns on the Rangers.

- Bond One-Liner: "Goodnight, Knight."
- Brainwashed and Crazy: The Master corrupts Nick and turns him into the new Koragg, but Leanbow soon snaps him out of it.
- Call-Back: The Mystic Mother was once previously known as Rita. She still gets the occasional headache and remarks that she knows firsthand that good magic is always more powerful than evil.
- Demonic Possession: Nick is possessed by the Master and used to wreak havoc on the magical civilians.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Necrolai is okay with wreaking havoc on humanity, but she begs Itassis to spare Leelee.
- Evil Makes You Ugly: When being possessed by the Master, Nick's eyes turn purple.
- Face Death with Dignity: Itassis fully expects to be punished for abandoning the fight. Though she urges Sculpin and Black Lance to think for themselves, she doesn't try to run or fight back, as they strike her down.
- "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: Leanbow is forced to fight Nick after he gets corrupted by the Master.
- Interesting Situation Duel: Leanbow and Nick's duel takes place in Rootcore.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: After Leanbow snaps Nick out of his trance at the conclusion of their duel, the Master is forced to escape from Nick's body.
- Lampshade Hanging: As Leanbow departs, Udonna reflects on how they're always saying goodbye instead of being together.
- Like Father, Like Son: When the Master-possessed Nick confronts Leanbow, he says the trope name verbatim as he transforms into Koragg and attacks him.
- "Not So Different" Remark: As a result of being possessed, Nick says he better understands what Leanbow went through as Koragg.
- Oh, Crap!: Leanbow when he realizes that Nick is the new Koragg.
- Orcus on His Throne: Subverted. The Master was initially willing to continue on normally, sending Itassis into battle. After she turns on him, the Master acknowledges how the Terrors have failed and takes matters into his own hands. First he possesses Nick to cause havoc and then he takes on the Mystic Mother.
- Pet the Dog: Due to Necrolai's loyalty, Itassis agrees to spare Leelee.
- Strange Minds Think Alike: When Udonna points out the other Terrors' loyalty to the Master got them destroyed, Sculpin mocks her for sounding just like Itassis.

- Daggeron pushes Leanbow out of the way as the Master prepares to further feed.
- Jenji shields the Rangers from Sculpin's blast and vanishes.
