Kalita questioning her life choices.

After receiving a college letter, Kalita remembers the night when she left the Roda Kira Gang. Knowing that she couldn't take Gantus on her own, Kalita met with Debbie, the original leader of the gang, to defeat him. To her dismay, Kalita discovers how much her leader has changed after leaving for a year, especially when Debbie asks her questions that leave her uncertain about her future.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Kalita notes that Debbie never crashed before her race with Gantus, implying that something may have happened during the race that hindered her performance. Debbie doesn't focus on the possibility as she's more focused on being a housewife now.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Kalita angrily asks Debbie why she ordered wine despite her pregnancy, after her sermon on motherhood and family. Debbie can only give a meek reply that pisses of Kalita further.
  • Asskicking Leads to Leadership: As it turns out, Gantus is the second leader of the Roda Kira Gang. He obtained the position by beating Debbie in a race.
  • Berserk Button: Family is a sore subject for Kalita. Debbie speaking about making one after abandoning the gang and forgetting Kalita is an orphan destroys any chance of ending their talk in a positive note.
  • Beware of Vicious Dog: Gantus is a large black dog resembling a hell hound. His leadership of the Roda Kira Gang made them take a darker turn.
  • Big Sister Mentor: Debbie was this to Kalita back when she was the leader of the Roda Kira Gang. She still tries to be this by offering her to try a better choice of life.
  • Both Sides Have a Point: The argument between Debbie and Kalita have the two of them rightfully call each other out on their flaws.
    • Kalita angrily points out that Debbie abandoned the gang and left them with a bad leader (Gantus) and then has the nerve to lecture Kalita about growing up when Debbie was the one who created the Roda Kira Gang in the first place. The fact that Debbie didn't bother to keep in touch for a year, in order to focus on her new life with her husband, only pisses Kalita off further.
    • Debbie points out that she nearly died because she followed the biker lifestyle and principles (like not wearing helmets to be badass). She also lampshades how the Roda Kira Gang never made an impact on society despite her noble ideals, seeing it as a lost cause and a phase she outgrew. She's also right in the fact that family can leave a mark in society, but only lost face because she forgot Kalita was an orphan.
  • Broken Pedestal: Kalita is dismayed when she finds out that Debbie chose to abandon her ideals to become a housewife and tries to encourage her to abandon the gang they created.
  • Calling the Old Man Out: Kalita angrily calls Debbie out for drinking wine despite being pregnant and preaching about how family and childbirth were important. Debbie can only give a meek reply before Kalita tells her that she will be a terrible mother.
  • Downer Ending: Kalita finds out that Debbie gave up on the Roda Kira Gang. She then finds out how corrupted her gang became when she sees them burning down a park and attacking homeless people. Infuriated, Kalita is about to fight Gantus despite acknowledging that he's an enemy she can't defeat alone.
  • Evil Is Bigger: Gantus is one of the tallest characters in the comic. He's also one of the most evil ones: He makes the Roda Kira Gang burn a park and assault homeless people.
  • Flipping the Bird: Kalita flips off Debbie when storming off the restaurant, telling her that she'll be a terrible mother.
  • Flipping the Table: Kalita angrily challenges Debbie to a fight like in the old days, flipping the dinner table to get more space between them. She's surprised to see that Debbie's pregnant.
  • Florence Nightingale Effect: Debbie met her husband at the hospital. He was the doctor supervising her. They dated shortly after she recovered.
  • Happily Married: Debbie reveals that she married her doctor and that she's expecting their first child.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Debbie used to be one back when she was the leader of the Roda Kira Gang. She shows signs of it by ordering a glass of fancy wine while talking with Kalita. Upon revealing she is pregnant, Kalita gives her a What the Hell, Hero? for drinking while pregnant, telling her she'll be a horrible mother when she meekly tries to make an excuse for it.
  • Helmets Are Hardly Heroic: Subverted. Debbie's crash injuries were more severe because she didn't use a helmet since she didn't consider it badass back then. Kalita actually uses a helmet since her crash, not forgetting what happened to her friend.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Debbie preaches about the importance of family, forgetting that Kalita was an orphan. This ends their meeting on bad terms when Kalita leaves the restaurant.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Kalita asks Debbie to fight by her side since she knows she's not strong enough to take down Gantus on her own.
  • The Last Straw: Kalita put up with Gantus and his immoral leadership for a year. It's only when she sees his beautification project that has the gang burning a park and attacking homeless people that she decides to fight him.
  • Let's Get Dangerous!: Kalita ends the chapter by preparing to fight Gantus despite voicing her belief that she was only going to win with help from Debbie.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: Kalita actually visits Debbie and tries to convince her to tag team with her against Gantus, recognizing that she won't defeat him alone.
  • Retired Badass: Debbie was one of the founding members of the Roda Kira Gang and its first leader. After her crash accident racing Gantus, she gave up the biker lifestyle to marry her doctor and have a family. Kalita is not pleased by it.
  • Title Drop: Debbie says that "Playtime is over" when advising Kalita to drop the biker lifestyle.
  • Visionary Villain: Gantus has a plan involving a beautification project. The problem is that he needs to burn a park and attack homeless people to achieve it.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Debbie calls out Kalita for trying to pick a fight with her even though Debbie's pregnant. Kalita later turns it around on her for drinking while in that state, telling her she's going to be a horrible mother.
  • Whole Episode Flashback: The chapter focuses on remembering how Kalita left the Roda Kira Gang.
  • Wine Is Classy: Debbie and Kalita get wine served at the restaurant. Debbie actually knows wine brands since she has experience with alcohol and it's implied that her husband took her to restaurants like the one in this chapter.
