Kalita shows Muko the true difference in strength between them with a single blow...

Despite Cookie's speech making Muko stronger than ever, Kalita ultimately wins the fight in a single move. Realizing that there's no way to get out of this mess by beating her, Cookie comes up with a solution: ask Kalita to become a Combagal and have her and Muko become the Tendonchi Champions.

  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Muko and Cookie immediately beg Kalita for help when she refuses their offer to become a Combagal. They even hug her leg and try to give a better deal.
  • Bathing Beauty: The extra page at the end of the page shows Snuggly doing a commercial while taking a bath.
  • Call-Back: Once again, Cookie asks Kalita to become a Combagal, and the vixen refuses.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Even with Muko's new boost, Kalita takes her down with one blow upon getting serious.
  • Elemental Punch: Kalita hits Muko with a punch that appears to be charged with electricity. Upon being hit, Muko feels as if she's been hit by lightning before crashing into a wall.
  • Hard Head: Muko is punched hard enough by Kalita to be sent flying head first into a wall. The impact actually shatters the tiles. And yet she's fine after a couple of pages.
  • Imagine Spot: Muko visualizes being in a field in the middle of a storm and being hit by lightning when she receives Kalita's Elemental Punch.
  • Made of Iron: Cookie acknowledges that Muko has high durability when she's shocked at Kalita's victory over her. Surprisingly enough, Muko also shows a good recovery rate as she stands back up at the idea of Kalita being her tag partner.
  • Megaton Punch: Kalita's Elemental Punch has some shades of it as Muko not only feels like she was electrified, but she was also sent crashing against a wall, breaking the tiles with her head.
  • Mood Whiplash: The Snuggly commercial is a contrast to the serious ending of the chapter and makes it end on a silly note.
  • Next Tier Power-Up: Lampshaded by Muko, who believes that she can take Kalita now that she got motivated by Cookie. It's subverted when Kalita performs a One-Hit Kill on her.
  • Only the Worthy May Pass: Only one tag team can face the Tendonchi Champions out of the many who try. To do so, they must complete all three Tendonchi Challenges offered by the Tendonchi Masters.
  • On the Money: Defeating the Tendonchi Champions will give the winners a prize money of 500,000 Moni in celebration, which is enough money to pay Kalita, Cookie's debts, and possibly help in managing for future furry fighting endeavors.
  • Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Muko notes that her hair grew longer thanks to her Next Tier Power-Up at the beginning of the chapter, taking it as a sign that she can beat Kalita now. It doesn't help her at all.
  • Product Placement: Shortly after the chapter ends, Snuggly promotes a product that can be summarized as bottled bath water.
  • Pro Wrestling Is Real: Discussed trope. Kalita doesn't want to become a Combagal because she believes that it's fake. However, Cookie reveals that the current Tendonchi Champions specialize in shoot wrestling, meaning they fight for real.
  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Snuggly makes a commercial while taking a bath, and she shows off lewd expressions and poses.
  • Shock and Awe: Kalita appears to summon lightning to amplify the strength of her punches. This gives her an Elemental Punch that knocks out Muko in one blow.
  • Sinister Silhouettes: The Tendonchi Masters are only seen as silhouettes to highlight how important their decisions are, not just in the challenges, but also in Tendonchi.
  • Stone Wall: Cookie acknowledges Muko as a damage sponge, recognizing that even if she's not that good of a fighter, she can take a lot of punishment before losing. Her being defeated in one blow shows how powerful Kalita is.
  • Tempting Fate: Muko, feeling invigorated by the Rousing Speech that Cookie gave her, dares Kalita to fight her with everything she's got, excited at the possibility of engaging in a real fight. She regrets it when Kalita hits her with her strongest technique.
  • Tournament Arc: The Tendonchi Tag Team Championship is the second most important tournament after the Queen of Fighters. It's held twice a year-once every six months, with a large amount of tag teams of Combagals competing for the honor of facing Skully and Bolouma (the current Tendonchi Champions) in a match.
  • X-Ray Sparks: Muko's skeleton is shown when she's hit by lightning in her Imagine Spot to convey the power of Kalita's attack.
