Mellow prepares to tell Harry the story of how he befriended Muko.

Mellow, a friend of Muko who took her to her first furry fight match, befriends Harry, her first fan, and tells him the story of how he met Muko. Meanwhile, Muko and Saniko have a talk about Muko's dream that turns a bit too personal for both of them.

  • Anachronism Stew: The chapter reveals that the series takes place in 1997. However, the technology in the comic is more suitable for the 2000s or 2010s, like video game consoles with motion controls or phones with Internet connections.
  • Anger Born of Worry: Saniko's anger is caused by Muko's constant failures and inability of taking care of herself, which worries her a lot. The fact that Muko is disregarding her safety despite having an eating disorder in the past and getting beat up by Kalita doesn't help ease her worries.
  • Big Eater: Muko has a large appetite, and tried to exploit it in an eating competition. She lost and went into a depression, binge-eating until she got overweight.
  • Brutal Honesty: Muko shows a bit of this when she rejects Mellow during their second encounter and when she has her disagreement with Saniko by telling her that she's not their mother.
  • Call-Back:
    • Mellow, the dog who took Muko to her first furry fighting match, tells Harry how he first met her and befriended her, culminating in giving her tickets for the Fenny and Roora fight.
    • Harry returns and shows that he's still Muko's fan, having made a shirt of her.
  • Cannot Talk to Women: Mellow has trouble talking Muko, much less ask her out on a date. To his credit, he improves with each encounter.
  • Cassandra Truth: Mellow is horrified to find out that Cookie is Muko's manager. He tries to tell her about her bad reputation, but Muko hangs up on him as she's busy playing video games.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: According to Saniko, Muko has a thing for immersing herself in random passions and then getting depressed when things don't go her way. As such, she thinks furry fighting is just a phase.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Muko may be perverted, but even she dislikes porn. She's actually into erotica because she likes using her imagination to stimulate her libido rather than just seeing naked ladies.
  • Forgotten First Meeting: Muko doesn't remember Mellow the second time she meets him, much to his dismay.
  • Formerly Fat: Muko once developed an eating disorder and became obese after losing an eating competition. Saniko spent weeks helping Muko lose that weight until she returned to normal.
  • Gamer Girl: Muko's playing fighting games to develop her fighting skills. It is implied that Saniko was also this as she knows what an RPG is.
  • The Glomp: At some point in the past, Muko gave a hug to Nyarai and took a selfie with her, much to her dismay.
  • I Know Mortal Kombat: Muko continues her furry fighting training through video games.
  • I'm Standing Right Here: Harry, a fish, is annoyed when Mellow points out that something about Cookie is fishy, obviously offended by his choice of words.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Mellow has a strong crush on Muko, but he doesn't realize that she's into girls.
  • Inelegant Blubbering: Saniko cries uncontrollably during her breakdown as the stress of overworking to take care of herself and Muko, and her sister's irresponsible lifestyle, get to her.
  • Ironic Name: Mellow is anything but that as he's very nervous, shy, and emotional.
  • Love at First Sight: Mellow gets a crush on Muko upon meeting her and he spends every following encounter trying to woo her. It's a fruitless endeavor, but he at least befriended her and got her phone number.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Muko is unusually cold to Saniko when she mentions how Cookie bothered to think that she's capable of being a Combagal, unlike Saniko thinking that she's bound to fail. She also chillingly tells her that she's not their mother after Saniko has her breakdown.
  • Promoted to Parent: Saniko tells Muko that she has to care for herself and Muko during her breakdown.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Saniko throws a vase to a wall and then breaks down in tears in a combination of stress and frustration of overworking herself and Muko's lack of self-preservation.
  • Selfie Fiend: Muko took a selfie with Nyarai, who isn't pleased to be included in the picture.
  • You're Not My Mother: Muko tells this to Saniko at the end of their fight, very coldly. Saniko leaves the room, visually hurt by the statement.
