In this Family Guy spin on the movie Taken, Meg and her friends go on vacation overseas, but when Meg gets abducted in order to be put on the sex slave market, it's up to Brian, Stewie, and their particular set of skills to rescue her.

"Leggo My Meg-O" contains examples of (YMMV goes here):

  • Aesop Amnesia: Connie still bullies Meg (this time by having everyone throw dodgeballs at her in gym class). Despite Connie receiving a brutal "The Reason You Suck" Speech from Brian in "Barely Legal" and (temporarily) losing her popularity after Chris dumped her in "We Love You, Conrad", she hasn't changed her bullying ways one bit.
  • Affectionate Parody: Complete with lots of Lampshade Hanging.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Despite returning to being Jerkasses at the end of the episode Peter and Lois seem genuinely concerned for Meg when she's kidnapped.
  • Creepy Gym Coach: Meg's gym teacher makes the girls kiss him (on the lips) before leaving at the end of class.
  • Disguised Hostage Gambit: Brian and Stewie dress up as an Arabian businessman and a new victim respectively to infiltrate the auction. Unfortunately, Brian is forced to buy Stewie to stop him being sold off.
  • Dodgeball Is Hell: The episode starts with all the kids in Meg's high school ganging up on her in a game of dodgeball.
  • Genre Blindness: Peter's advice to Meg includes: "Pay no attention to detail ... and hide under the bed but leave your feet sticking out".
  • The Guards Must Be Crazy: Lampshaded by the Arab guard who Stewie and Brain easily overpower by freeing themselves from the pipes, saying they have a jail cell to put prisoners in.
Arab Guard: We have a jail cell. I always tell them, "Put the prisoners in the jail cell," but they always say, "Just chain 'em up to a pipe." Idiots.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Stewie does this to Meg.
  • Obvious Stunt Double: The last command on "car chase GPS".
  • Palette Swap: Ruth's clothes are slightly different in this episode, for some reason.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Brian and Stewie head to Europe and rescue Meg.
    • A minor one, but Connie DID include the disabled girl in picking everyone during dodgeball expect Meg.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Stewie has no problem fighting off large amounts of sex slavers.
  • Protagonist-Centered Morality: The two don't trouble themselves to save any of the other kidnapped girls, even as one begs for their help. Not to mention poor Ruth...
  • Sex Slave: Meg and Ruth are victims of this. Meg is sold to a handsome Arabian prince who wants to propose marriage, before Brian and Stewie step in. They also manage to rescue Ruth too, but not before her tongue is ripped out. (Fortunately, this show makes good use of the Reset Button.)
  • Tongue Trauma: What happened to Meg's friend Ruth...
  • Whole-Plot Reference: The plot is a reference to Taken.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: Just when it looks like Meg is about to live a happy life with a kind and handsome Arab prince, that opportunity is taken away from her in a flash, poor Meg.
