Now loading tropes

  • 30 Minutes, or It's Free!: When the KND makes him crash his bike, Chad yells at them for screwing up his pizza delivery job and says that now he’ll miss the (absurd) five minute delivery time guarantee.
  • All There in the Manual: There's actually a prequel story in CN Action Pack comic that precedes this episode and explain how Hoagie tried to put the Tommymobile into storage.
  • The Assimilator: The Tommymobile kept stealing bicycles until it became giant.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: After assimilating with the rest of the bikes in the neighborhood, the Tommymobile becomes a massive, unstoppable tricycle.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: With the Tommymobile unstoppable and on the verge of destroying every bike in town, Hoagie ultimately gives himself up to it to end its threat - being forced to ride it, much to his chagrin.
  • Bait-and-Switch Comment: When Tommy asks Numbuh 4 what he thinks of the Tommymobile:
    Numbuh 4: I think it’s great!
    Tommy: You do?
    Numbuh 4: Sure…for kicking!
  • Bait-and-Switch Silhouette: When Chad is exiting his bike, he looks he's coming out with a weapon, then it turns out he has a box of pizza as he is working part-time job.
  • Call-Back: While arguing with Numbuh 4, Numbuh 3 brings up the events of C.A.T.S. and H.U.G.S.
  • Colossus Climb: Tommy climbs the giant Tommymobile to try to talk some sense into it.
  • Combining Mecha: Numbuh 2, 3, 4, & 5 are able to combine their bikes to create the C.Y.C.L.O.C.A.N.N.O.N. - Connecting Your Cycles Lets Operatives Create Amazingly Nonescapable Nuclear Oatmeal Nitro-cannon.
  • Company Cross References: When Numbuh 4 thought he was talking to Tommy, he makes a reference to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends another show on Cartoon Network at the time.
Numbuh 4: Hey, doofus! You're goin' the wrong way if you're lookin' for Foster's Home for Lame Bicycles!
  • Failed Attempt at Drama: After Tommy finishes giving a monologue about how great he and the Tommymobile will be at fighting crime, he mounts the bike only for it to collapse beneath him and send him embarrassingly crashing to the ground.
  • Fantastic Measurement System: At one point, Numbuh 1 tells Numbuh 5 that the Tommymobile has been picked up on their radar “five burger meters” away from her.
  • Foreshadowing: At the beginning of the episode while talking to the Tommymobile, Tommy says that the other kids wouldn’t know a cool bike if it ran them over. This is exactly what starts happening to the KND as the Tommymobile gains sentience.
  • Going Down with the Ship: Captain Ten Speeds is prepared to go down with the Central Bicycle Command Hub when the Tommymobile threatens to bomb it.
  • Intelligible Unintelligible: The Tommymobile can only speak by ringing it’s bell, but Tommy and Numbuh 2 have no trouble understanding it.
  • Jerkass Ball: The members of Sector V laugh at Tommy when he decides to try out his brother's old tricycle, with even Hoagie joining in and telling him he can polish his bike when he gets back. While their anger at Tommy when he accidentally destroys their bikes twice could arguably be justified (the first time when Tommy intrudes on their high-speed chase with Chad, causing them to crash into them, and the second when Tommy rushes past them and wrecks their bikes in the process), they still come as needlessly cruel, and their antagonism is what drove Tommy to do so in the first place (not to mention they could have avoided the first incident if they had slowed down and stopped), so it's hard not to see their misfortune as well-deserved.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: For once Chad has a legit reason to be mad at the KND after they wreck his bike under the assumption he was causing trouble when in reality he was just working his part time job.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence: Numbuh 5 is being chased by the Tommymobile, but she can’t see it and it only shows up on the Hub’s radar. She’s in the middle of telling Numbuh 1 that there’s nothing behind her when her communication is cut off and she’s presumably run over by the tricycle.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Considering that he made fun of Tommy for riding his old tricycle and also treated them both like they're liabilities, it's hard not to see Numbuh 2 being forced to ride the tricycle as this.
  • Motive Misidentification: Tommy thinks that the Tommymobile enhanced itself to impress him. The bike's actual target is Hoagie.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Tommy’s meddling during the KND’s chase with Chad not only allows Chad to get away, but also causes all the other operatives that were chasing him to crash their bikes.
  • Not Me This Time: It's assumed that Chad is responsible for kids' bikes being trashed. Actually, he's just working at a part-time job.
  • Running Gag: Numbuh 3 thinking that everyone is planning a surprise birthday party for her, despite Numbuh 4 reminding her it's not her birthday yet.
Numbuh 4: For the last time, this is not a cruddy surprise party for you!
  • Sentient Vehicle: The Tommymobile comes to life and seeks revenge on Numbuh 2 for abandoning it for a better, two-wheeled bike.
  • Shout-Out:
  • The Stinger: Numbuh 3 is about to enter the treehouse until she leaves to send Hippie-Hop for inspection. It turns out that this time, the rest of the KND actually were planning Kuki a surprise party!
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Numbuh 3 spends the entire episode talking about the surprise party she thinks the rest of the team is throwing for her. When Numbuh 2 and Tommy walk through an empty Central Bicycle Command Hub later in the episode, Tommy says that maybe everyone’s gone because they’re throwing a surprise party.
Numbuh 2: You been hanging out with Numbuh 3?
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: The K.N.D hit the gigantic tricycle with a ketchup blast from orbit and...it does nothing to stop it. One of the operatives lampshades this by asking how they expected ketchup to do anything after it fails.
  • Tagalong Kid: The events of the plot are kicked off by Tommy wanting to tag along with his older brother and his friends as they ride their bikes around to various missions.
  • Villains Out Shopping: Chad is working a part time job delivering pizzas so he can save money to buy himself a car.
  • Wrong Assumption: The KND believes that Chad is going to different houses everyday on his bike is because he is trying to recruit an army to launch an attack on the Central Bike Hub, when he was actually just working a job delivering pizzas.
