- The Bad Guy Wins: Turns out all this time the soda shipment was a cake, and Numbuhs 2, 3, and 6 had just delivered it to The Delightful Children from Down the Lane.
- Bait-and-Switch: The title seems to be indicative of how Bradley (Numbuh 6) was essential to the mission. Turns out it's actually the sixth "CAKED" installment.
- Broken Win/Loss Streak: By virtue of Numbuhs 2 and 3 being played for fools, in the end the DCFTL finally get to have a birthday cake.
- Closer than They Appear: The mirrors on the truck read, "Seriously, you don't wanna know how big this object really is!"
- Drowning My Sorrows: Numbuh 2 during the end credits scene, ranting about the events of the episode as well as the (offscreen) reprimand he must have been given.
- Politically Incorrect Hero: Numbuh 2 is pretty disparaging about having Numbuh 3 driving the truck.
- Tempting Fate: In response to the climax, Numbuh 2 comments that at least they weren't caught smuggling soda. Almost on cue, Numbuh 3 comes back from the pizza palace with some soda, and Mr. Fizz smirks at her maliciously.
