Ben, the Forever Knights under Old George and Vilgax aided by the Flame Keeper’s Circle go after Diagon’s heart.
- Adapted Out: All versions of St. George and The Dragon have George rescuing a princess from the dragon. This series’ version however, makes no mention of the princess.
- Age Without Youth: Old George sealed away Diagon and founded the Forever Knights centuries ago, and is fairly old without his sword.
- Amplifier Artifact: The sword George used to defeat Diagon empowers Vilgax so he can resume his humanoid form and rejuvenates its original wielder.
- Arc Welding: Vilgax, Diagon, the Forever Knights and the seal the Lucubra came from are all tied together at once. Ben bemoans that he never made the connection earlier.
- Awesomeness by Analysis:
- After hearing the tale of Sir George from Driscoll, Ben is able to deduce from the way he's talking that Driscoll has met Sir George and that the latter is still alive in the present day, meaning that he must have become immortal.
- After examining the calculations George wrote on the wall, Gwen deduces that they're coordinates in latitude and longitude to where Diagon's heart will appear next.
- Bowdlerise: The Forever Knights’ version of St. George and the Dragon makes no mention of women or children being sacrificed to the dragon, and is instead replaced with people being enslaved if they tried to challenge him.
- Cliffhanger: With Diagon having regained his heart and taken away Vilgax, Old George activates Ascalon.George: Now you shall see what the dragon saw.
- Connected All Along: It turns out that the Lucubra was a servant of Diagon, which means that he can control anyone it Brainwashed.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Vilgax powered by the sword can defeat everyone in the room. Ben as Eatle doesn’t get to do anything to fight him.
- Dragged Off to Hell: Vilgax is tricked by Diagon into being dragged into his dimension.
- Dude, Not Funny!: Gwen isn’t in the mood for Ben’s usual jokes.
- Enemy Mine: Ben and co form one with Driscoll to find where Old George has gone to recover the Heart of Diagon. It doesn’t last.
- Forgot About His Powers: Kevin doesn’t think to use his Osmosian powers to general a Psychic Block Defence for Gwen like he did against the Lucubra.
- Fridge Logic: In-Universe, Gwen points out to Conduit Edwards that if Vilgax was the Cthulhu-lite they’ve been worshipping, then why would he need to be driven around in a truck. They don’t listen.
- Godzilla Threshold: Despite her being exhausted, Ben has Gwen teleport the team to the Diagon’s seal since it will otherwise take too long.
- Instant Armor: Ascalon provides this to whoever wields it.

- Ben and his team learn about Old George and figure out that he’s now leading the Forever Knights.

But George reclaims Ascalon and reverts to his younger self, ready to continue the fight.George: Let the dragon come. - Spared by the Adaptation: In this series' version of Saint George And The Dragon, the Dragon (Dagon) didn't die and is instead sealed away.
- You Can't Thwart Stage One: The team are unable to stop Vilgax from breaking open the seal enough for Diagon to take Vilgax and the former’s heart to his dimension.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: A non-lethal example. After Gwen deduces from the calculations where the heart of Diagon will appear next, Driscoll thanks the team before he shoots and knocks them out, leaving them to locked up while he and a squad of Forever Knights go to accompany George.
