The Stellaron Disaster AU series are a series of one shots by Travant detailing the aftermath of a Stellaron descending to Teyvat and essentially wiping out all life on the planet, reducing the world to a shadow of its former self as the nations lie in ruin and every single person in the once vibrant world is now dead.
Except for one single person whose individual story will be explored.
The Stellaron Disaster AU are individual one-shots that tell the respective story of each survivor who watched their world burn and were forced to pick up the pieces and live in their broken homeland until the Astral Express arrived and gave them hope for a new beginning.

The Stellaron Disaster AU series contains examples of:
General
- After the End: The stories always start in the aftermath of the Stellaron Disaster that has turned Teyvat into a dead world with the exception of a single survivor.
- Anyone Can Die: Everyone, from the Vision Holders to the Archons and just ordinary civilians, are dead. The only person left alive besides the monsters is the protagonist of each respective story.
- Apocalypse How: Class 3A. Humanity, the Gods, and any other supernatural intelligent being was wiped out during the disaster. The only living creatures left are monsters and the single survivor whose viewpoint the story takes place from.
- Bittersweet Ending: Teyvat is gone and pretty much a dead world with no chance of revival, with every single character we know but the survivor of their respective one-shot dead. But said survivor of the Stellaron Disaster boards the Astral Express to new beginnings and new friendships rather than being trapped all alone in their destroyed world with only the monsters to keep them company.
- Downer Beginning: The story often opens up detailing that Teyvat has become a lifeless husk with only one person left wandering the ruins of their world.
- Late to the Tragedy: By the time that the Astral Express arrives to seal away the Stellaron, Teyvat is already in ruins with only one survivor left on the planet- with the exception of dangerous monsters.
- Nothing Is the Same Anymore: After the waves of Stellaron produced monsters, Teyvat is left a complete and utter ruin.
- Sole Survivor: Often the main characters of each one-shot are literally the Sole Survivor by the time that the Astral Express comes along.
Transcension: Extinction of Suffering
- Big Damn Heroes: When Welt, Dan Heng, and March 7th find themselves surrounded by the monsters in the Chasm, Xiao comes to their rescue and with his help they are able to clear out monsters the Astral Express Crew had difficulty fighting again.
- Berserk Button: When Xiao thinks that the crew is insulting his late leader, he angrily snaps at them not to insult the late Geo Archon.
- Broken Bird: Xiao was already one thanks to his past of being enslaved, but the death of everyone he knew including Rex Lapis left him shattered. He lives day by day going through the motions afterwards.
- Character Development: Zhongli fondly notes that Xiao has come far from deferring to Zhongli to being able to call him out on his hypocrisy in a flashback.
- Despair Event Horizon: In a flashback when Xiao is conversing with Zhongli, it is hinted that the Geo Archon is going through this as it becomes more clear that there is no coming back from the destruction that the Stellaron has brought on Teyvat.
- Zhongli: Xiao, even if I could fight forever, erosion has been catching up to me for years already, and my people, my close friends, my country… They are all dying left and right. I am weary, Xiao. I do not know how much longer I can hold on, nor how much longer I will want to.
- Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: After Xiao is essentially the only survivor left on Teyvat with no one left to protect, he finds the task of killing monsters monotonous and only does so because he doesn’t know what else to do. It isn’t until he comes to the Astral Express’ rescue when they find themselves in trouble that he realizes he missed being able to protect people.
- Due to the Dead: Averted. Usually the Adepti are sent off with a proper farewell when they die, but unfortunately with the waves of monsters attacking them there was simply no time to send the deceased off with a proper farewell.
- Hypocrite: Xiao accuses Zhongli of this when he encourages Xiao to keep on living and not to mourn his death while the Geo Archon has no intention of surviving Teyvat’s last battle. Zhongli on the other hand is proud that Xiao has come to the point that he can call out him out on such things when in the past the Last Yaksha would have been unable to speak out against him.
- Dying Alone: Zhongli died alone on Mt. Aocang, with Xiao narrating that if there had been humans on the mountain he would not have allowed himself to past due to the sheer damage a god's death can cause.
- So Proud of You: Zhongli essentially says this to Xiao when the latter calls him out on his hypocrisy of wanting Xiao to move on with his life while the Geo Archon has no intention of surviving Teyvat’s final battle. He sees this as proof that Xiao has come a long way when the last Yaksha was originally subservient towards him.
- Your Days Are Numbered: Zhongli says this to Xiao when they were fighting off waves of monsters being produced by the Stellaron. He can feel erosion encroaching onto him... and that isn't going into the grief he feels over the deaths of his friends and the people he was supposed to protect.
Lingering Carmine
- Brutal Honesty: Stelle does not at all hide the fact that the tea that Hu Tao made for them tastes horrible. Or that the funeral parlour is in literal ruins.
- Disappears into Light: This is what happens to all the ghosts who finally move on after finishing their Unfinished Business. Hu Tao has dedicated herself to helping them move on even if it leaves her as the only person left on Teyvat.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Hu Tao finds herself distracted by Yelan’s looks. And when she’s talking to Chongyun later on, she describes how it was to be under her scrutiny with her friend calling her gay in response.
- Duty That Transcends Death: Dan Heng hypothesizes that the reason that Xiao hasn’t moved on yet is because of Hu Tao. Hu Tao is the last remaining piece of Liyue left to protect when Xiao feels that he had failed everyone else and his duty.
- The Gambler: Not even death seems to stop Yelan from playing a game of dice with Hu Tao, in which the latter loses every round.
- Innocently Insensitive: Stelle's Brutal Honesty crosses into this when she insults their host's tea and the ruined state of the funeral parlour, nevermind the fact that Hu Tao is the Sole Survivor of her world and that everyone she knows is dead.
- I See Dead People: Hu Tao reveals that she can see the ghosts of those who were killed to the Astral Express before skipping out on them.
- The Last Dance: Hu Tao and Xiao share one just before Xiao finally departs to the afterlife and Hu Tao leaves with the Astral Express.
- Pals with Jesus: Dan Heng is shocked to learn that Hu Tao knew the Geo Archon personally and that he worked under Hu Tao as a consultant.
- Spirit Advisor: Xiao acts like this to Hu Tao, especially when he scolds the latter for not listening to what Welt had to say before she ran away from the Astral Express after their first encounter.
- Stepford Smiler: Hu Tao. Despite the fact that she had greeted the Astral Express with a smile on her face, she is actually hurting at the fact that she is the only survivor left. It isn’t until she helps Xiangling move on that Hu Tao finally breaks down in tears.
- Unfinished Business: The ghosts that Hu Tao helps pass on all have this. Hu Tao takes it upon herself to help them move on from their destroyed world.
- Yelan plays one last game of dice where the loser has to answer the winner's question.
- Chongyun fights off some hilichurls while Hu Tao sleeps in an Battle Discretion Shot. When she wakes up, the only thing she finds is his Claymore and a message telling her good night.
- Xiangling has Hu Tao helps her cook one last meal in her ruined restaurant kitchen in which she has the latter test taste their creation.
- And Xiao finally moves on when Hu Tao tells him that she will be leaving Teyvat with the Astral Express, happy that she won't be alone any more and that his duty of protecting the last of Liyue is finally finished. However, before he finally departs the two of them have a literal Last Dance with one another.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Yelan asks if Hu Tao knows what happened to the Traveler; however Hu Tao doesn't know.
