Fanfic / ROTBTFD Star Wars Series

Go To

The ROTBTFD Star Wars Series is an Massive Multiplayer Crossover series of fics written by cjupsher, who also created the Superhero fanfic series The Big Four Cjupsher Series. It is a AU fanfic universe based off of the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom set in an homage/recycling of the set Star Wars Universe.

  • ROTBTFD Star Wars: Rise of the Rebels
    • The Empire has risen out of the ashes of the Republic. The Jedi Order is no more. But there are those who still fight. Princess Merida of Dunbroch leads the rebellion against Darth Drago and the empire. During her crusade she begins to gather the remnants of the Jedi scattered across the galaxy. With the help of her friends and the Jedi, maybe the rebels have a chance.
  • Big Hero Rebels
    • BH6 Star Wars Au - After the death of his brother during the Jedi Purge and the rise of the Empire, Hiro Hamada almost gave up on his dream of becoming a Jedi. But when he meets the rebels of Lothal he suddnely got a chance to make it come true. He must be trained in the ways of the Jedi by a friend of his late brother's. All while surviving the dangers of a galaxy at war.
  • Rotbtfd Star Wars: Chronicles of a Jedi Youngling
    • Follow the chronicle of the future youngling of the New Jedi Order. Their trials and tribulations as they all discover what it means to be a Jedi. A midquel taking place between the first and second stars wars story. A little filler material.
  • ROTBTFD Star Wars Drabbled
    • Series of Drabbled based on my ROTBTFD star wars AU. Gonna take place mostly before and during the event of the clone wars. Will accept requests.
  • Merricupsmutdrabble
    • So I feel there isn't enough Merricup lemons. So out of mostly boredom I'm gonna write some drabbles featuring them. Will take place in my other story AU or other random scenarios.

ROTBTFD Star Wars Series provides examples of:

  • An Ice Person: Elsa possesses "Force Ice", a cryokinetic technique of the light-side of the force where the force sensitive can generate ice in any shape he or she chooses using nothing but the force. You know that "Force Lightning" Sith use? Well it's like that. But Ice.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Almost. Dagur tortures Emma using his lightning which temporarily makes her eyes go yellow, only for her to quickly regain her senses.
  • Berserk Button: Hiccup holds a grudge against Dagur for betraying the Order, killing his mother, amputating his leg and various other crimes, Hiccup tends to... lose himself... when in battle.
  • Big Bad: Darth Drago
  • Death by Adaptation: Seeing as how most of the characters in this world are based off of already existing characters - mostly as Jedi - and a big plot point in the series was that the Jedi Order was wiped out, most of them killed off, so you know just how serious it gets.
    • Dagur/Darth Skrill was almost spared in the end, Hiccup letting go of his anger, only for Merida to swoop in and do the job for him.
    • Valka is not just "presumed" to be dead. Word of God says that she is officially dead. Period. End of story.
  • The Dragon: Dagur/Darth Skrill
    • It's Personal with the Dragon: Dagur, who was a friend of Hiccup, betrayed the order, amputated his leg and killed his mother. "Grudge", doesn't do it justice.
  • Fish People: Characters from Pixar's Finding Nemo are re-imagined as a Mon Calamari, a Fishman species.
  • The Power of Love: Practically the moral of the story. The Jedi Order have been against love because it is an emotion that clouds one's judgement with attachment while the Sith are against it because it creates weakness. Elsa and Hiccup discuss it, the code making everybody miserable and ultimately decide to change it. Hiccup even gets over his anxieties over Dagur, using his love for Merida and need to protect his friends to keep him from slipping to the dark-side.
  • Rule of Two: Sith follow "the Rule of Two"; one master, one apprentice. One must die in order for this dynamic to change in any way. The Inquisitor brings this up to Dagur, claiming that if Dagur kills Drago, than Dagur will be the master and the Inquisitor can become his apprentice. Later, after Dagur's death, the Inquisitor replaces him as Drago's apprentice.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: A common trait of users of the Dark-side. Dagur has them, Pitch has them and even Jack's sister Emma when under Dagur's influence.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Applies to many characters.
    • Hiccup is made into a Jedi Knight, having hid away all of these years since the order fell. While he has not tamed a dragon like his canon counterpart, Hiccup is one of the most skilled fighters in the series, having created his own Jedi martial art called "The Book of Dragons", basing every kick-ass technique off of a different dragon that dwelled on his home planet.
    • Elsa is made into a Jedi Knight, both as a competent fighter and master of what is called "Force Ice", a parallel to the dark side's Force Lightning and her ice magic in the film.
    • Anna is made into a pretend Mandalorian searching for her big sister. Not convinced that the Order betrayed the public like everyone else, Anna set out to find her. Along the way, she acquired a Mandalorian outfit, a gun and the skills to use it (if not a little ''too'' well, to be completely honest). To top it all off, Elsa says that she was able to find her by using the force unconsciously, but turns down her offer of Jedi training, happy with her own set of skills as is.
    • Despite being a padawan, Rapunzel is an incredibly competent fighter and is fluent in the Force, being able to use it to heal injuries.
    • Not only does Dagur retain all of the deranged, battle-crazy demeanor and skills from his canon incarnation, but he is now a god-damn Sith Lord named "Darth Skrill" with mastery over the force, is handy with a light-saber and the amoral temperament to threaten the entire universe with it.
    • If Drago Bludvist was not scary enough, but now he is now a Sith Lord and the Emperor, ruler of the Empire and conqueror of planets.
