- "What was that about being able to control yourself?"
Fuzzy Logic is an inconsistent webcomic written and illustrated by Piper and Shannon of Minnesota. It's set in 2017, and stars two human girls and two robot guys who accidentally get married on a trip to Las Vegas. They plan to get divorced A.S.A.P... until they realize that they may have more in common than they thought. Hilarity ensues.
This work has examples of:
- Accidental Marriage
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Completely Averted with R.J. and Walter, but deconstructed with Walter's Family. (Eh??)
- Anti-Hero: Just about all four of the main characters.
- Berserk Button: Don't threaten Piper unless you want 300 tons of robot commin' atcha.
- Deadpan Snarker: Everyone.
- Do Androids Dream?: You get a lot of this with R.J. and Shannon, but probably not so much with Piper, who doesn't really overanalyze, and Walter, who's answer is most likely "yes."
- Computer Voice: Walter! Though you wouldn't know it since the voices only exist on paper.
- Easily Detachable Robot Parts
- Eating Machine
- Fantastic Racism: Well, it is The Future after all.
- Heterosexual Life-Partners: Piper and Shannon.
- Hypocritical Humor: Walter berates R.J. for bringing a strange woman back to their hotel room... until he opens up his chest cavity to find one of his very own.
- Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: R.J. and Shannon.
- Names Given to Computers: RJ-0804 is his model name/number, but he uses it as his "personal" name, shortened to RJ for the most part, unless someone's mad at him. Alternatively, his airport colleages often call him "Robot Jack", because they assume that's what RJ stands for. (It's not.)
- No Water Proofing In The Future
- Pick Your Human Half
- The Pollyanna: Piper!
- Ridiculously Human Robots
- Robosexual: Well... Duh.
- "Second Law" My Ass!
- Super-Powered Robot Meter Maids: Played straight with R.J. (except for the superpowers)who was built to basically be a walking media-reciever, but can do much, much more. Invoked with Walter, who is outrageously capable and advanced but doesn't really use most of his abilities daily.
- Stepford Smiler: Walter's mother, arguably.
- Tin-Can Robot: R.J. But he does have paint!
- 20 Minutes into the Future
- Waking Up Elsewhere
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Walter and his father.
