Know-Nothing Know-It-All: He seems to be this as he isn't quite as bright as he makes himself out to be, though sometimes he gets it right.
Meaningful Name: Given that he is one Inch high.
Noodle Incident: Whatever made him a mere inch high.
No Celebrities Were Harmed: Inch High sounds like Don Adams. He also has quite a few shade of Jack Benny in his performance, espacially when he exclaims "Now cut that out!"
Small Name, Big Ego: Can be pretty boastful and cocky sometimes.
Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Though it's probably just a nickname he goes by.

Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Blonde and very friendly.
Nephewism: She's Inch's niece, though it's implied she has a mother who's still around.
Only Sane Woman: Probably the only member of the team that has it together besides Mr. Finkerton.
The Smart Girl: The smartest and most competent out of all of them.

Dumb Muscle: Strong but not very smart.
Kindhearted Simpleton: Despite the fact that he isn't very smart, he's good natured.
Master of Disguise: Manages to pull this off pretty well sometimes.
Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Seriously, is "Gator" his real name or just a nickname?

Big Friendly Dog: He loves Inch, Lori, and Gator very much. He's generally very friendly and kind.
Ironic Name: In spite of his name, he's more chicken than dog. Just like another cartoon dog we know.
Lovable Coward: It's hard not to find him adorable, and in spite of his cowardice, he always remains loyal to the team.

Expy: His agency's name is very similar to the Pinkerton Detective Agency.
Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He can be rude and crabby sometimes, but seeing as he has to deal with Inch's antics all the time, can you blame him? In spite of it though, he is still a good guy.
No Celebrities Were Harmed: His voice is directly influenced by comedian Joe Flynn, particularly his role as Captain Binghampton on McHale's Navy.
Only Sane Man: Besides Lori, he's the only character in the show who has all their marbles.
Reasonable Authority Figure: He may be a bit rude, but he has common sense. The only times he lets Inch take a case is when the better detectives aren't available, and he will work with the team when the situation calls for it.
