Trivia / Inch High, Private Eye

  • Follow the Leader: The idea of a tiny detective was previously seen in 1966 on Tom of T.H.U.M.B., a segment of Videocraft's King Kong cartoon series. In that show, the main character was a secret agent who started out as a janitor for a secret agent bureau and accidentally got shrunk from a ray gun.
    • In the Hanna-Barbera train, Inch using teen help ties it into the You Meddling Kids type of shows, though in terms of plots, the show has more of a noir detective agency slant. The criminals are often more run-of-the-mill crooks that have run afoul of the Finkerton Detective Agency. The only examples of a "Scooby-Doo" Hoax are quick disguises, rather than the source of the crime.
    • Inch is the star and is a Know-Nothing Know-It-All, something ''The Funky Phantom"' also had. His two human teammates, Lori and Gator, trade off as the smart one vs. the dumb muscle. Braveheart is the cowardly big dog, but he is also just a normal dog, since he doesn't talk.
