The Racing Drones

  • An ancient group of machines created by a powerful race known as the Accelerons. They were originally made for entertainment, but over the years and during a war on earth they 'rebelled' against their creators, and were decommissioned. Yet they lived on, and hid preparing themselves until the day they could take over the earth and eventually the universe. Wishing to crush anybody in their way, and having made an Alliance with the The Fallen themselves. Currently the group is led by Gelorum and her five lieutenants. They originate from the television series Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers'' and Beast Machines

Racing Drones Lieutenants

     Jetstorm

     Thrust
  • Badass Biker: Being a robot that transforms into, well, a bike.
  • Berserk Button: It turned out when being called a "lamo" pushed his buttons. Ever since he was a human and joined a band of villains against the Spies for the humiliating defeats.]] And when he gets beserk, his Semblance activates.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While Thrust is willing to give up his body to make a new life as a Vehicon Drone, he's not stupid enough to fight someone stronger than him such as the Fallen, especially Sammael himself.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: He has a deep and sinister voice.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He acts friendly towards his enemies even while trying to destroy them.
  • Hypocrite: Feels that W.O.O.H.P. never appreciated his genius and the technological advances he brought to the organization, despite the fact that he used said technology for his own selfish interests. But after joining the Racing Drones, his thoughts of them remains uncertain.
  • The Sociopath: Very likely, considering that his reasons for becoming evil aren't as petty as most of the other recurring villains. Most of the others suffer from (rather minor) disappointments that cause them to snap. Thrust, however, is depicted as perfectly sane (for the most part) and practically kills people for its own sake. This didn't changed much when he became a drone and still retained those traits.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Gelorum, even when he was in fact a double agent when he infiltrated WOOHP before he became a Drone.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: It was revealed that he was none other than the well known villain Tim Scam, one of the arch nemesis of the spies.

     Tankor

     Obsidian
  • Badass Bookworm: Obsidian is a master strategist and very intelligent alongside Strika, earning the highest ranks to control Gelorum's military forces.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While powerful and able to defeat a Crystal Gem, Obsidian knows that it would be unwise to face a powerful hero like Major Glory without further precautions and wisely called a retreat after completing their mission.
  • Fantastic Racism: In Grimm Fall: Acceleracers it reveals in his past that Obsidian shows outmost disdain towards outmost the Gems due to the ancient history of his people were once almost abducted by the Gem Empire. The same towards the the inhabitants of the Special Zone.
  • General Ripper: In the past, Obsidian had the gruesome idea of using the Grimm as a means to attack the Gem planets. But his superiors refused to suggest such a strategy.
  • Hulk Speak: In his moment against the heroes and the Crystal Gems, both Obsidian and Strika tricked them into thinking they were but simply mindless machines.
  • Human Aliens: Turns out he was from another planet and came to Earth. Now just a machine with only his mind and memories.
  • Jerkass Hasa Point: While he is a heartless machine, Obsidian does bring a point that the Gems will care nothing towards organic life yet angered towards the leaders of the Gaia Union for pursuing peace than conflict.
  • The Strategist: One of the most intelligent generals created to command the Racing Drones. Turns out he was even a great military officer of an interstellar military.
  • Undying Loyalty: Shown to be absolutely loyal to Gelorum and follows her orders without question.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: In a manner of speaking. Originally he was a living being before a tragic accident after some military experiment went wrong, Obsidian was found by the Racing Drones and transferred his consciousness into a robotic body to survive.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: [[Spoiler: Going so far to attack the Gems by a plan to use the Grimm as their fatal weakness, exiling to Earth and offered to share his knowledge with the military officers to advance their chances of defending Earth from interstellar threats and the Grimm.]] He even had the

     Strika
  • Badass Bookworm: Given that she was a scientist who once worked for the NASA military and an Astronaut, it would not be surprising how her skills would come into use for the Racing drones to become a Vehicon General.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While powerful and able to defeat a Crystal Gem, Strika knew that it would be unwise to face a powerful hero like Major Glory without further precautions and wisely called a retreat after completing their mission.
  • Hulk Speak: Pulling a trick into fooling her enemies that she was but simply mindless machines until the next time she appeared.
  • The Strategist: One of the most intelligent generals created to command the Racing Drones.
  • Undying Loyalty: Shown to be absolutely loyal to Gelorum and follows her orders without question.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: Or her: Strika was once Astronaut and scientist known as Shannon Lucas
