With this he vowed to gather all the gold in the world, and would do so using a plan that affected the world. The only thing stopping him being the numerous heroes who recognize the threat he is.- The Magic Touch: He literally has this what with his hand being replaced with a magic hand that can turn things to gold with a simple touch.
- Midas Touch: He made this his power, and can turn anything to gold.
- Gold Fever: He has this big time, and wished for all the gold in the world. His want for such a thing causing him to actually become a threat.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: When he used the Ice Crown to take all the gold in the world, never realizing the consequences of his actions could have an effect to the world when he inadvertently freed an ancient entity known as Crom Cruach who was buried in an underground chamber in Ireland, or having the crown be handed to Patience who would use it to bring the world to an ice age
