Rose (11th)

Age: 31
From: Paris, Île-de-France

"Je suis la plus grosse pétale de cette compétition! Et qui s'y frotte s'y pique !"note

  • Sucks at Dancing: Rose is known as a comedy queen. Unfortunately for her, the first challenge is a dancing challenge that led her to the bottom and subsequent elimination in another dancing challenge (the lipsync). This is acknowledged in her return interview for the finale when Nicky Doll asks her if she is always that unlucky in life.
  • Those Two Guys: Ironically, Rose is part of a drag duo with Punani and they would have likely qualified for this trope together if Rose had not been eliminated in the first episode.

Vespi (10th)

Age: 31
From: Lille, Hauts-de-France

"Ne laissez pas tomber votre nation, le disco a besoin de vous!"note

  • Animal Motifs: Vespi's Super Drag character is named "Vespidae," and her look is wasp-inspired.

Kitty Space (9th)

Age: 27
From: Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

"Prêts à embarquer dans le Kitty Space... ship ? Attachez vos ceintures, bitches!"note

Ginger Bitch (8th)

Age: 44
From: Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

"Hello bitches, cette saison 2 promet d'être pleine de courbe et sans détour!"note

Moon (7th / quit + Miss Congeniality)

Age: 31
From: Genève, Suisse*

"Qui a dit que les nuits étaient faites pour dormir?"note

  • Heroic Fatigue: After six weeks of stiff competition, Moon admits that her mental health is suffering as a result, and voluntarily leaves the show in order to take care of herself.
  • Hot Gypsy Woman: One of her looks pays homage to her Romani roots.
  • Nice Girl: She's crowned in the finale as this season's Miss Sympathie (Miss Congeniality).

Cooky Kunty (6th)

Age: 29
From: Paris, Île-de-France

"Bonsoir, les enfants. Maman est là."note

  • Bilingual Rhyme: Cookie speaks French and Spanish, and plays on that fact in her "We Are Légendaires verse.
Cookie Kunty: Pas dans l'sas, un peu de classe. Some would say grognasse. J'parle pas que français t'as capté? ¿En español quizás?note

Piche (5th)*

Age: 26
From: Arles, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

"Oh, et les looks? C'est même pas mon point fort."note

  • Bad Impressionists: She gave a lackluster impersonation of Geneviève de Fontanay, the legendary mother of the Miss France pageant competition. It led to her to lipsync and her (first) elimination.
  • Hairy Girl: She sports full facial hair in drag.

Mami Watta (3rd=)

Age: 24
From: Saint-Denis, Île-de-France

"Les vraies bitches n'ont jamais froid."note

  • Book Dumb: She tends to look confused when the names of the guest judges are announced. As she is a young drag queen and grew up in Ivory Coast away from French cultural references, this is somewhat justified.
Nicky Doll [announcing the guest judge]: Virginie Despentes !
Cookie Kunty [to Mami Watta] : I'll explain to you who that is.
  • Cheap Costume: while she can serve great looks, Mami Watta is young, comes from a modest background. She mentions on numerous occasions that she does not benefit from the same budget as her competition.
  • Genki Girl: a young and high-energy drag queen.
  • It's All About Me: Mami Watta is a narcissistic queen. Proud of her, proud of her body, proud of her drag.
Mami Watta: I'm going to pay tribute to someone special in my life: myself
  • Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: Her drag name comes from Mami Watta, a water goddess venerated across her native West Africa. According to Mami Watta, 'having the spirit of Mami Watta' is also used in a derogatory fashion in Ivory Coast to describe homosexuals, women that are too free-spirited and other unconventional people.
  • Stripperiffic: Mami Watta's outfits are notorious for not containing much fabric and exposing a lot of skin.
Mami Watta [commenting on her runway]: My butt is naked, as usual.

Punani (3rd=)

Age: 32
From: Paris, Île-de-France

"J'aime les ampoules comme j'aime mes concurrentes. Laides [LED]."note

  • Character Development: Punani is a fashion queen part of a comedy duo with Rose. During drag race, she evolves as a versatile solo performer.
  • Creator Couple: Punani's boyfriend is a design artist and he contributed to the creation of some of her outfits.
  • Instant Expert: Primarly a comedy and fashion queen, Punani lipsync in the fifth episode is her SECOND real lipsync performance ever. She absolutely nailed an emotional interpretation of Juliette Armanet's 'Le dernier jour du Disco'.
  • Petite Pride: Punani drag characters often have little to no breasts. Something she acknowledges in her presentation verse.
Punani: Femme plate, esprit malin. note
  • Refuge in Audacity: Punani had planned to impersonate gay icon Amanda Lear for the Snatch Game. Cue to the big day where the guest judge is... Amanda Lear. After some hesitations, she decides nonetheless to impersonate her and gave an hilarious performance of the dry-witted Amanda.
Nicky Doll : What do you think of your look-alike [the real Amanda Lear]?
Punani [as Amanda Lear] : The wax museum did a good job, but it was obviously made by an intern.
  • Sucks at Dancing: Dancing is not Punani's forte. However, during the girl band challenge, she turns it in her favor by dancing comically badly. As one of the judge puts it, it was done well enough that you would not suspect that this was meant to hide a lack of skill.
  • Those Two Guys: With Sara Forever as the drag gargoyles in the parody of the Notre-Dame de Paris musical. Adequate, as they are very good friends in real life. Ironically, Punani is part of a drag duo with Rose and they would have likely qualified for this trope together if Rose had not been eliminated in the first episode.

Sara Forever (Runner-Up)

Age: 33
From: Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

"Mais elle est folle! Non. Elle est forever, baby."note

  • Broken Ace: She starts very strong with two wins and one top placement. However she slips in the Snatch Game when she gives up on her first impersonation pick (because both her and Cookie Kunty wanted to imitate Johnny Hallyday). She then places Safe and Bottom before coming back on top in the 7th episode.
  • The Smart Guy: Sara Forever is well read, mentioning reading feminist author Virginie Despentes and impersonating famous writer Françoise Sagan for the Snatch Game. She distinguishes herself with smart runway references, for instance, to the architecture of the Communist party headquarter in Paris.
  • Those Two Guys: With Punani as the drag gargoyles in the parody of the Notre-Dame de Paris musical. Adequate, as they are very good friends in real life.

Keiona (Winner)

Age: 31
From: Paris, Île-de-France

"Tremblez de joie. Tremblez d'effroi. La voici. Keiona" note

  • The Ace: The first queen in the franchise to place in the top every single episode before the finale, two of which were wins.
  • Always Second Best: For the first half of the season, Keiona is constantly placed in the top but doesn't manage to bag a win.
  • Comically Oversized Butt: How Nicky Doll draws Keiona's perfectly-shaped butt during their therapy session.
  • Dance Battler: Keiona comes from the ballroom scene, and high energy dancing is one of her strongest skills. In fact, fans of Legendary may recognise her as the Mother of the House of Revlon, which placed third in season 3.
  • Only One Name: She usually performs as Keiona Revlon, appending her House's name to her own, but on Drag Race France she's known only as Keiona.
