     Someday-Governing Committee of Wing Five, Woman's Section:note

In general

  • Ax-Crazy: All of them are very eager to sacrifice each other at the end.
  • Napoleon Delusion: Allnote  are suffering from this, believing they're historical women they really aren't.

Constance Mozart (Woman Who Plays Records)

  • Gratuitous German: She speaks German as well as English, has a thick accent, and frequently incorporates both in her dialogue.
  • Happily Married: Her and Mozart, or so she thinks, at least. She is absolutely infatuated with him, and frequently steps aside to talk to him.
  • Large Ham: And how.
    Povolie! POVOLIE!!
  • Tragic Keepsake: A record of one of Mozart's works. When Anthony smashes it, she's absolutely devastated.

Osa Johnson (Woman in Safari Outfit)

  • For the Evulz: Inverted - She says the group needs a motive to attack the men's ward past self-defense so they can be considered "not evil".
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: She frequently gets irritated and sassy with the other inmates. She's the second biggest Deadpan Snarker, behind Earhart, of course.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Her plans and stories frequently involve cannibalism, such as when she suggests starving themselves so they can eat the men in the men's ward. This is purely practical, though.

Gertrude Stein (Woman with Notebook)

  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: After Earhart's death, she celebrates with the rest of the inmates. The script notes she rips up her notebook paper and sprinkles it over Earhart's corpse like snow.
  • Department of Redundancy Department: Because of the way she talks, this is prone to happen with her.
It would be it would be very difficult, wouldn't it, it would be very difficult, wouldn't it, to. . . to to to. . . to. . . to. . . to do it. . . well, the other way?
  • Laughing Mad: She's always laughing and stuttering during her dialogue and bursts into mad laughter at some times.
  • Mad Artist: She's a writer (primarily a playwright) and the previous tropes should give you an idea about the "mad" part.
  • Running Gag: With Joan of Arc:
Woman in Armor: Gertrude Stein/Looks like a swine!
Woman with Notebook: Joan of Arc/Died in the dark!

Pearl White (Girl in Gossamer Dress)

Amelia Earhart (Woman in Aviatrix's Outfit)

Queen Isabella I of Spain (Woman in Queenly Spanish Garb)

  • The Stoic: She never talks through the entire meeting, except for one instance where she has a long monologue about Columbus. Nobody notices.
  • Suddenly Speaking: She has a monologue midway through the show which nobody notices.

Joan of Arc (Woman in Armor)

  • #1 Dime: Her cross, which she never goes anywhere without. When the others suggest relocating it, she gets mad and shuts down.
  • Mission from God: Played for Laughs. While the real Joan of Arc did have voices, this version's voices tell her to do mundane things like fix her pants instead of motivating her.
  • Running Gag: With Gertrude Stein:
Woman in Armor: Gertrude Stein/Looks like a swine!
Woman with Notebook: Joan of Arc/Died in the dark!
  • Tragic Keepsake: Her giant, 7-foot cross.

Susan B. Anthony (Woman with a Gavel)

  • Iron Lady: She is the leader of the group and maintains a professional attitude for the whole time.

     Others

Man in White

  • Light Is Not Good: He wears white and generally is very creepy and antagonistic to the girls in general.
  • Mad Doctor: He's implied to be a doctor, and from his few interactions with the group, he's not a good one at that.
  • No Name Given: He is simply referred to as the "man in white".

The Men's Ward

  • Ambiguous Situation: Ambiguous existance, more like. It's debated by Earhart, the Only Sane Woman, whether they are actually a threat to the group or they're just something the girls thought up because of their madness.
  • The Ghost: They are frequently mentioned throughout the story, but are never seen.
