Heroes & Anti-Heroes
Aquaman
Aquaman (Arthur Curry)
Half-man, half-Atlantean amphibious hero with the ability to telepathically communicate with and command sea life.Provides examples of:
- Adapted Out: Is typically a founding member of the Justice League, if not at the very least a member who joins quickly after the fact, but is entirely absent from the roster here.
- Superman Stays Out of Gotham: Is completely absent from the events of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This is a rather egregious case considering the invasion of Metropolis seems to have claimed over ten MILLION lives, annexed a major American city, Brainiac taking control of the Justice League, and in general being a planetary threat by the time the Suicide Squad enter the fray.
- The Ghost: Exists and is known to the general public enough to be a point of discussion amongst the Suicide Squad by name, with King Shark dismissively snarking at peoples perceptions on his ability to talk to fish being anything special (noting that he is a talking fish-man who communicates with people on a regular basis but this isn't given the same regard).
Green Arrow
Green Arrow (Oliver Queen)
A wealthy philanthropist from Star City who uses his archery skills to fight crime and his trust fund to fight for social change.Provides examples of:
- The Ghost: He exists, with Queen Industries and Queen Consolidated both being present via its logo on their products as far back as Batman: Arkham Origins, a former employee acting as a headache for Batman, and one of their offices being located in Metropolis, and dialogue with ARGUS agents indicates he's active as Green Arrow, but he has yet to make a physical appearance.
Zatanna
Zatanna Zatara
A Magician who casts spells in reverse, and daughter of Giovannia Zatarra.
Provides examples of:
- The Ghost: Other than repeat signs of her magic acts and a shop you can find in Batman: Arkham Knight, she has yet to make an appearance.
Villains
Gorilla Grodd
Gorilla Grodd
A telepathic bipedal intelligence gorilla from Gorilla City.Provides examples of:
- Easter Egg: According to the Season Of Infamy, Grodd was being held in Iron Heights penitentiary, but escaped at some point.
- Noodle Incident: Some kind of event involving Gorilla Grodd made national headlines and propelled The Flash into superhero stardom in between the events of Arkham Knight and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, though its never specified exactly what happened.
Starro The Conqueror
Starro The Conqueror
An alien with the ability to assimilate the minds of others through spore-copies of itself. Last seen trapped in a glass tube in Seagate Amusement Park in Gotham City.Provides examples of:
- The Cameo: He makes an appearance sitting in a glass tank in Seagate Amusement Park in the Batman: Arkham Knight DLC "A Matter Of Family".
- Uncertain Doom: You can find Starro's spores littered around S.T.A.R. Labs in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, rendered as an inorganic powder residue alongside several civilians, though its unclear what happened to Starro himself or how he came to be in Metropolis.
The Rogues
The Top, Mirror Master, Captain Boomerangnote
A group of criminals in Central City who routinely come into conflict with The Flash.Provides examples of:
- Ambiguous Situation: While Weather Wizard/Mark Mardon exists in the Arkham universe it’s unclear if he’s part of the group.
- The Ghost: Aside from Captain Boomerang, none of them make an appearance, though they're referenced in dialogue.
- Thou Shalt Not Kill: Explicitly mentioned as one of their rules and, specifically, why they cant know about Boomerang's involvement in hunting The Flash with the rest of the Squad.
