Ehh... Yeah, I was kinda doubting I'd get it... But I do hope it's finished soon. I've been using most of the Poke Dex entries in my story, you know, as a base, and I was going to add a Noibat. Just wanted to either make one or read one, you know? I am sorta impatient about that...

Well, I feel somewhat awkward. I didn't see the notice on the main page for the project and I went edited a typo or two on one of the subpages. Nothing major, but even still I apologize for not asking permission first.

Kinda awkward, but how long does it take for a dib to be considered and approved? I've already written the article, so I'm sorry if I'm a bit impatient. Just a bit, but I'm just wondering how long it takes, on average.

And this Poke Dex is basically my lifesaver. It has everything you need for a realistic RP or an awesome story. I chose the latter.

Pachirisu

Morphs [Oak Catalog #]

  • Pachirisu [#417]

Appearance

It’s a small and nimble creature, closely resembling an Emolga, except that it can’t fly and it’s huge tail. It’s tail is usually just as large as it is and it very dense with fur. The tail itself isn’t very big, but it’s fur helps store static electricity for later. It attacks by touching it’s opponent and transfering electricity via static. While it’s cheeks do generate power on their own, they don’t usually store it there. The tail is used mainly as a battery instead, ready to be discharged whenever the Pachirisu requires it.

It’s fur goes from a crisp white to a light grey. A blue stripe runs down it’s back and over it’s tail, with spikes jutting up from the tail. Larger ones have more, and some on their backs, but it averages to three on only the tail. They don’t serve much of a purpose, other than appearance. Some reports say more spikes means more power, but since they have no structure or mass, they can’t really hold much of anything.

Similar to it’s Kanto- and Unova-native cousins, the electrical pouches are it’s source of power. They sometimes use them to communicate with other Pachirisu. Some studies have said Pachirisu could do the same with Pikachu and Emolga, but Trainers and Breeders with both Pokemon have reported no such practice happening between species. While Pikachu and Emolga have used their pouches for similar communication, they have never been seen doing with another species.

They are usually tricky and playful creatures, and usually joke with passing Trainers. Most throw things like hard berries or Seedot. The cute faces they have are deceptive and they enjoy misleading lost travelers. It’s widespread knowledge that they are not to be trusted in the wild, but once captured they make great pets. While not the strongest in combat, they are great partners all the same. They get along great with kids, even if they did still play tricks on them. Many trainers, even experienced ones, might capture one to be used solely as company or a companion.

While the fur on their bodies is usually grey and blue, a few rare strains and mutations of pink and red striped Pachirisu have been found. While some companies have been able to breed the mutation, it's mainly and only for the purpose of selling to richer people, like nobles or officials. Some trainers have bought red striped Pachirisu, but no one uses them for combat. It’s mainly just a show of status.

Notable Biology

The Pachirisu’s cheek pouches are built like an Emolga’s, storing electrochemical cells and muscles, which generates electricity at a rapid rate. It’s almost immediately discharged to the tail to store for later. Once a Pachirisu deems it’s tail filled, it will store some power in it’s cheeks.

Unlike an Emolga, being larger, a Pachirisu can keep a handle on it’s static storage. While touching an Emolga with your bare hand is dangerous, due to the static it stores in it’s wing membranes and fur having next to no buffer. The tail of a Pachirisu is thick enough that, unless you are trying to touch the core of the tail, you’ll be fine.

If a Pachirisu loses it’s tail, it’ll be next to useless. It has little muscle for physical attacks, and it’s cheek pouches have little storage capacity. Even if they did have the ability to produce weak attacks, they’ll have lost all social status. They’ll never be able to breed again, because of that. Their families will disown the offspring and left to die in a hole.

Habitat

Pachirisu often hang along paths frequented by trainers. The more favorable choice is the ones with trees. Other, more docile nests are deeper in the forests and hang near food sources of berries and nuts. They are considered as common as Rattata in fields of tall grass, but they aren’t usually found deeper into the forest. The ones that do live further into the forests are timid when it comes to trainers and people, usually sticking to their underground nests.

It is unlikely to see baby Pachirisu in the wild, as parents are unbelievably protective of their children. Until they are old enough to care for itself, they are usually kept underground and out of sight.

Diet

Pachirisu are Herbivores, eating mostly berries and nuts. They prefer sour berries, but they will eat any edible berry. They don’t like eating spicy stuff, but they will if you have to. The ones that live near paths and cities often steal from farmers or markets, feeding to their reputations of being a tricky bunch. While their electric attacks are most effective at taking down Pidgey and other small flying Pokemon, they’re unable to eat flesh, so they refrain from making unnecessary enemies.

Hazards

While owning a Pachirisu is mostly harmless, they still can pose a threat when angry. They can store enough power to kill a person, and they won’t hesitate to do so if you pose danger to it or it’s children. It is advised to keep a ground type, or a reliable steel type able to withstand the electricity, if you plan to catch one or travel through a forested area.

Courting and Childrearing

Male Pachirisu usually take up two or three mates, but only spend time with their mates during heat season. The females usually stay behind and dig a new nest for the eggs and stockpile food. They spend their time in the nest, with their tails wrapped around the eggs. At most, they lay four, but some have been known to break the eggs of the one they knew they couldn’t support.

After three months of incubation, the baby Pachirisu are hatched. Similar to Emolga, they spend the first part of their lives blind and bald. After four months, they develop into full adults. They spend most of that time underground and releasing electricity into the ground. Once they’re at least three months old, the mother will show it’s young which berry bushes were which and how to survive. After another month, they’re allowed to leave to find their own mate.

Social Structure

The Pachirisu are highly dependent on their tails. The nicer the tail, the finer the mate they can attract. It also says a lot about their social interactions. Grooming a mate’s tail is an important part of the species. It shows affection and devotion, and it is seen before two Pachirisu mate. While it isn’t only done by mates, it is only by members of close family or on the young.

They’re fairly social creatures, often sticking with their family for their entire lives. Some form colonies under tree roots and consist of three to five families. Most search elsewhere for mates, but make great prey for larger predators.

In Human Society

Seeing a trainer with a Pachirisu isn’t rare. It’s quite common to see a Sinnoan trainer carrying one, or something like a Farfetch’d or other weak Pokemon, on their shoulder. However, if you see a young trainer sending out a Pachirisu to battle, feel free to laugh. The three electric rodents are famous for being the Fools’ Starters.

Several breeders have only sold their Pachirisu to young children or adults uninterested in going through the trouble of training some other larger Pokemon. They are usually easy to calm and tame to inhabit a home or care for children. They are naturally caring, even if a little naughty. A few government figures have taken the small creature to meetings or assemblies, as a show of status.

They are hardly worth the effort to catch, but some are cooked and savored by several trainers in the wild. Many compare it's taste to an electric taste, tingling on the tongue. When Sinnoan trainers pass through forests, or are near them, the best meal they search for is a Pachirisu.

Well, this was kind of overdue, but here's Magearna's entry. Magearna

Morphs [Oak Catalog #]

  • Magearna [801]

Physical Descriptions

While the details vary, in all stories it appears in, Magearna is described as a robot resembling a Buneary in an extravagent ballgown, into which it can hide, covering its upper body with its large ears. This shell gives it a resemblance to the modern Poké Ball. Its face has an open mouth painted onto it, and a small stud to represent a nose. The eyes are a bright red, with cross-shaped pupils and golden eyelashes. A gear with seven teeth acts as a makeshift headpiece. All four of its limbs are pointed. In some tales, the ends of its arms can open up, and its arms can sprout metallic "petals" when using its mystic power. The Soul-Heart, the vessel of Magearna's consciousness, is consistently located in the body's chest, but its descriptions vary from iteration to iteration. While the most common interpretation is a brilliant blue orb with a gold-framed red and blue heart painted on it, a large gem with other gems embedded in it, and even a metallic plant bulb.

Lore and History

Though many tales and stories have been told of Magearna in the Alola region, the Pokémon's history has been a matter of debate; for its basis in historical fact, for the canonical version of its story, and for where it originated. The earliest known surviving tales — the Alolan poem The Ingenious Magearna and the Royal King's Daughter and the Kalos anthology book Le Marvel Mécanique du Roi (or, The King's Mechanical Marvel) — are both around the same age, having been written in the 16th century. A third school of thought suggests that the legend may have had fact in another region entirely, and the story simply reached others through oral traditions, with details being dropped and added as time went on.

According to The Ingenious Magearna and the King's Daughter, there lived a toymaker whose genius, skill and craft were unparalleled across the islands of Alola. News of them eventually reached the king of Alola on Ula'ula Island, whose daughter had long desired a plaything unlike anything she had. The toymaker was subsequently commissioned by the king to create such a thing, and they created a life-sized mechanical doll with tricky machinery ahead of its time, including powerful weapons to protect the daughter from harm. The toymaker then devised an ingenious machine that, through the collection and compiling of Pokémon life energy, created an artificial soul that brought the doll to life. After teaching it compassion and instructing it to be empathetic towards life, the toymaker demonstrated Magearna to the king and his daughter, both of whom were pleased with it. The poem ends with Magearna and the daughter remaining friends all the way through her ascension to queen.

Le Marvel Mécanique du Roi offers an expanded version of the tale. The first story chronicles the creation of Magearna by the king, a wise inventor who wished to present his daughter with a friend and companion that would protect her from harm. To this end, he created a mechanical body that could move around if provided power, and crafted the Soul-Heart using the energies of various Pokémon, creating Magearna. Presenting it to her, she is pleased with it. From here, miscellaneous tales are told of Magearna and the princess's life together, with the former's advanced machinery and magic powers often being the catalyst and solution to various conflicts. The final tale, often omitted from childrens' editions, takes place years later, with a rival kingdom attacking with the intent of stealing away Magearna and using its power for itself. The king, distressed that his peaceful creation was being sought out for war, ordered Magearna to be hidden away where no-one would discover it, ultimately passing on while buying time for the Pokémon to escape.

As with many stories and folklore, the story in both forms has been subject to revision, alternative interpretation, and expansion. The poem never reveals what became of the king's daughter, the toymaker, or Magearna, nor does it name them or describe the creation of Magearna itself, thus making it difficult to discern who each character is supposed to be historically based on, if the tales have any historical truth to them at all. This also makes the canon sequence of events highly debatable, as some tales tell of events that have no existing historical record.

One notable and supposedly historically-accurate expansion from the mid-to-late 17th century, The Playmate of the Princess, provides a grimmer take on the story; in it, the scientist (the reinterpretation of the toymaker) forcefully drains several Pokémon's lives with the Soul-Heart machine, and Magearna becomes empathetic towards others as a result of the cruel method of its creation. In the end, the daughter grows weak and feeble as time passes. Realising the Soul-Heart is constantly draining all life energy with no way to stop it, the scientist takes Magearna and, unwilling to destroy what they created, flees into the wilderness, telling it to never go near others before leaving it behind. In defiance, Magearna proceeds to travel the world assisting those in need, and the scientist is later tried and executed for the disappearance of Magearna and the daughter's death.

Known Sightings

Outside of the collection of fairy tales starring Magearna, little to no verifiable historic documents suggest it really existed. While there was a skilled mechanical toy maker in Alola at the time, and the king of a small province in Kalos at that time expressed an interest in science and technology, nothing reveals if they ever made, or were capable of creating, a device as advanced as Magearna's body. Although a set of old parchments with the robot's schematics were claimed to have been discovered in Kalos, rising evidence (including a reconstruction using them failing to work properly) suggests these are little more than hoaxes.

However, a few accounts dating between the 16th and 21st centuries claim to have witnessed a mechanical creature assisting a person or Pokémon when they were injured and far from their territory. One tale from a 19th century explorer claims that, while lost on a mountain, he began to suffer frostbite and was certain death would follow. By pure chance, a walking doll Pokémon in a strange gown appeared before him, and with but a single touch offset his frostbite and gave him enough energy to make his way back down the mountain. Another cites an instance where a young man and his Trumbeak were attacked by a wild Haxorus, and were saved by a chance intervention from a mechanical Pokémon whose arms were like flowers. These claims are regarded with skepticism, but remain the most recent information hinting at Magearna's existence and, if true, imply it roams the Earth while assisting those in need and whom it emphathises with.

Abilities

Magearna's body is described as being full of tricky machinery capable of amazing feats, and some stories even admit no-one knows the true extent of its talents. Among its more well-known tricks are the formation of powerful "flower cannons" from its forearms, with which it can produce fresh flowers and even energy blasts in dire situations. The power source for these (and Magearna itself) is the Soul-Heart enclosed in its body. One known ability of its design is its tendency to shift its body parts into its gown, resembling to modern eyes a large Poké Ball. In the tales where it does this, it does so when sleeping or sulking.

The most well-known of Magearna's abilities is the Fleur Cannon, so named for the flower shape of Magearna's cannons during its use. With it, the Soul-Heart pours a tremendous level of power into a single point in its casing, from which it is fired as a large beam from the cannon, devastating all in its path. As a consequence, however, the Soul-Heart's impressive energy conservation takes a hit, sharply reducing its battle abilities. According to the segment in The Ingenious Magearna where it is first mentioned, the toymaker created this technique in the hopes that it never be forced to see use.

Using the strange, seemingly limitless energy the Soul-Heart provides, Magearna can use all sorts of move types. One story has it use Aurora Beam to keep the kingdom's fish supply fresh, another involves it firing an intense Flash Cannon beam as a call for help, and yet another has its mechanisims use Shift Gear to significantly boost its running speed during a race with the palace Growlithe. Supposedly, Magearna once swapped the minds and talents of people using Heart Swap, a technique once thought to be exclusive to fellow Mythical Pokémon Manaphy. Perhaps most strikingly, Magearna in one story is said to be able to utilise Aura and fire the Aura Sphere technique, despite being a totally mechanical being unlike all other Aura users. The story also praises this ability of Magearna's as a sign of the talent of its creator.

The Soul-Heart, in addition to powering Magearna's body and hosting its consciousness, also has a supposed extra ability, wherein it bolsters Magearna's own power after a nearby Pokémon, friend or foe, is felled. The exact reason for why and how this occurs is unknown and open for interpretation. Some versions of the story theorise it as a side effect of the Soul-Heart's creation, and that it is constantly draining all life energy without stopping. Others suggest that the Soul-Heart instead bolsters its power as a consequence of the Pokémon's empathy and desire to end conflicts as quickly as possible. However, unless Magearna is somehow proven to exist and obtained, no clear answer can be reached.

Hazards

Magearna is said to be kind and instantly trusting towards those whom it senses a good heart in, thus a Trainer would, at least in theory, have no issues befriending it. However, some fairy tales involve Magearna's antique body suffering some sort of fault, ranging from limbs seizing up to blasts of energy uncontrollably firing off. In these cases, the Soul-Heart was removed from its body by whoever happened to find it until the fault was fixed (itself a tricky prospect owing to its advanced construction). If a Trainer should ever find Magearna in such a state of distress, it is recommended the same procedure be done (after winning the Pokémon's trust first).

Other

Magearna's story of an inanimate humanoid toy coming through life via almost magical means served as an inspiration for similar stories by other authors, one of which became well-known once an influential animation company adapted it as their second film.

The most curious aspect of Magearna is its uncanny resemblance to the modern day Poké Ball. Many have speculated on how this could be, but the most commonly accepted theory is that the tale (or at least, Magearna's ball shape and supposed energy-absorbing abilities) reached the Johto region in some form or another, and thus served as the inspiration for the first Poké Ball manufacturers.

Considering that Alola is Pokémon Hawaii, I really think it's unlikely that Magearna is from Alola; even if it isn't in the Kalos Pokédex, everything about it heavily suggests that it's Kalosian in origin. The intricate, detailed design screams "French", and it is very likely inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's machines. It's signature move has a French word in it, not to mention it kind of looks like Diancie, which could be mentioned. Plus, the Soul-Heart is basically using Infinity Energy. By the way, article also has some grammar mistakes; you might want to look over those.

Salandit Line

  • Salandit [757]/Salazzle [758]

-Physical Description-

Salandit are small, black, reptilian Pokemon with a dark grey body, with a black head and four-toed feet. A red-orange line starts down its tail and ends at its back where it splits into several short, small lines with rounded tips. Occasionally, in battle, the line will flare up, usually when using Fire-type attacks. Two short, flat spines jut out from the base of the neck, giving Salandit the impression of wearing an old-time burglar's mask, only compounded by its narrow, slitted purple eyes, and the toothy protrusions on its upper jaw. Only female Salandit can evolve into Salazzle.

Salazzle shares much of the same aesthetic characteristics of its base form but is much taller, thinner, and tends to walk on her newly-developed legs (although she is more than capable of movement on all fours). Both her hands and feet have gained a digit each, for a total of twenty digits. Tooth-like protrusions have appeared on the lower jaw, and the protrusions that were once at the base of the neck have now moved to the base of her longer tail. Salazzle's tail now sports a pink underside, and three pink markings have appeared on her body; one on the chest, forming a 'U' shape, and two more on the abdomen, in 'f'-shapes, though they also bear a passing resemblance to small flames.

-Notable Biology-

Salandit and Salazzle have a poison sac that is in a constant state of what can only be described as 'overdrive'. The intermingling of its fire sac with its poison sac adds a special property to its toxins that allow it to poison any Pokemon regardless of typing. Salandit also release a gas that has different properties dependent on the gender of the user. In the case of males, it only causes dizziness, and the effects disappear after only a few hours at most. In the case of Salazzle and female Salandit, the gas is laced with their pheromones.

The pheromones directly target the pleasure centers of the brain, influencing inhibitions and decision-making capabilities, effectively making those affected weak-willed and subservient to the Salandit/Salazzle. The effects can last upwards of days, and, from those who've recovered from the effects, described it as 'enveloped by a sweetly sinister aura, where you would rather die than disobey'. The effects can be countered by various incenses, with the Sea Incense and Wave Incense accelerating the recovery process the fastest.

-Habitat-

Salandit tend to inhabit either very hot areas such as the summit of volcanoes, or craggy locations, like mountains. They have also been known to visit grassy areas. Notably, there is a popular date spot in Alola where Salandit are said to frequent. Being so close to water, it is unclear as to why they would inhabit such an area, but given their abilities and the rate at which couples appear in the area, it is doubtful the intentions are anything but noble.

-Diet-

Salandit are omnivorous, using their powerful toxins to corrode nearly any material down to a sludgy, easily digestible substance. They tend to prefer berries, but Salazzle have also been known to eat other, smaller Pokemon. Incidentally, either Salandit or Salazzle are perfectly willing to eat food that has been burnt to a crisp.

-Hazards-

As stated before, the gasses the Salandit line releases are capable of causing dizziness, disorienting the unaware trainer and Pokemon. Their also highly corrosive poison makes approaching one difficult, especially if it is on guard or wounded, as it will strike if given the slightest opportunity. Female Salandit and Salazzle are much more dangerous, due to their special pheromones able to subdue the males of all species. Even a dedicated trainer must exercise caution when training a Salazzle, as it could easily turn on them and make them a part of their 'harem' (see below) if she considers them unworthy or disrespectful. However, this only applies to males. Female trainers remain largely unaffected by the pheromones.

There have been extremely rare cases where males, Pokemon and human, are completely immune to the pheromones. In regards to Pokemon, no reason or common thread has yet been found, but in the case of humans, those unaffected were noted as having interest in only other males, neither sex, or have no romantic interest or desires at all.

-Courtship and Childrearing-

Female Salandit are rare (only about one in every eight), and when one is in heat, males from miles around will flock to her, all eager to mate. As a sort of preliminary, she exudes a trail of pheromones, finds the most difficult location to reach in the immediate area, and nests. The male Salandit that survive on the way to her are considered worthy of her time, and they will all gather into a singular mating ball, with her at the center. This mating season can last several months, but during the course of it, the female Salandit will constantly release pheromones that will continuously affect the minds of the male Salandit. While most other reptilian Pokemon select one suitor from such an act, the Salandit will select all those available at the end of the season.

Once the mating season is over, the males will stick to the female like glue, tending to her every whim, attacking any aggressive Pokemon, and nesting where she nests. After a certain length of time (anywhere from 2-3 months), she lays eggs, as many as 20-30, with some cases recording over 100. While female Slandit and Salazzle go off to hunt, the males are left behind to care for their young.

Due to the power of their pheromones, males of other Pokemon species are sometimes affected. It is not uncommon to see a female Salandit or a Salazzle with say, a Steelix or an Ampharos as part of their 'reverse harem'. Whether this is accidental or for protection purposes is unknown, but they remain as loyal as can be.

-Social Structure-

Salandit have been observed to have a rudimentary class hierarchy. Males are on the lowest tier, and delegated to tasks such as caring for the young, grooming, cleaning the nest, and breeding. Female Salandit are ranked higher, and are usually taught the ways of battle and pheromone usage/control by older female Salandit, or Salazzle. Salazzle are at the top, and regarded as leaders of their nests. Despite the entrancing effect their pheromones have on males, all female Salandit and Salazzle have an unspoken rule to never breed with males that 'belong' to other female Salandit and Salazzle. Those that break this rule are banished from their nests, and considered traitors to their species.

-In Human Culture-

Catching a Salandit is an extremely daunting task, for numerous reasons, especially if you want a Salazzle. For one, female Salandit are rare to encounter in the wild, even if you know somewhere they frequent. There are also no definite markings that set apart males and females; the only telling aspect is the effect the gas has on the trainer. Which usually disrupts an attempt to catch it in the first place.

Second, female Salandit are almost never alone, and usually accompanied by numerous males ready to lay down their lives for her. While taking down an army of Salandit is relatively easy, in the instances where Pokemon of other species are part of her harem, caution is best exercised.

Third, a Salandit will often use her pheromones to delude a male Pokemon. If engaging in battle with one, using a female or genderless Pokemon is recommended, as is a Pokemon with the Oblivious ability.

While the above may deter some trainers, the payoff is considered well worth it, due to the combat prowess Salazzle have.

I will admit; it is kinda absurd, just as the tag says. I'm not saying the idea is bad. I rather like the idea of the male Salandit being slaves to the female. Of course, the fact that they are expected to have a harem, as you say, is kinda strange.

The description is well done, and I like the attention you gave it. But I did disagree on one thing. I can see the F shape, but it's more akin to a small flame than an F. Not every Salazzle has the exact same markings. While you didn't mention the shiny form, it's nice to not know of them, since they are rare. I myself didn't want to include a shiny form in the Pachirisu article, but since they're common, I added it for a bit of real-world business connections.

Also, I'd recommend adding your article to the list of entries. Linking it to the article or making the sub-page (which I don't know how to do) will draw more people to read it.

Well, the Sun dex entry mentions Salazzle creating reverse harems, and admittedly, the idea kinda got away from me. X3 I'd be more than willing to tone it down a tad if need be.

As for the markings, it looking like a small flame could apply, too. I just weirdly perceive it as a sort of stylized 'F'. I could add a part about how the markings vary.

And I don't know how to add it to the list of entries, either. Y_Y I'm still an absolute neophyte at this. If someone could tell/show me how or point me to a link that explains how to do it, that'd be great. Thanks for your critique; it's really valued~

Link to the article template

While you didn't mention the shiny form, it's nice to not know of them, since they are rare.

That makes absolutely no sense for something that's supposed to be an in-universe scientific article. A blue lobster is at minimum 1 in 2 million, far more rare than the chances of you encountering a shiny Pokémon, and they get mentioned.

But anyway...

Okay, I'll be honest and say this article as it is has some major issues and probably needs a major overhaul. Combining both a friend of mine's and my own observations:

1) That description of the sacs means that pretty much any Fire-type that can learn Poison-type moves ought to be able to poison Steel and Poison-types.

2) The way you write the males makes them seem like little more than the equivalent of ambulatory male anglers stuck to the female as sperm receptacles. That kinda goes against how we try to depict Pokémon as being semi-sapient if not outright sapient at minimum.

3) If what you posit in the IHC section is true, why hasn't Kiawe become a thrall of Totem Salazzle?

4) How do the phermones affect people who aren't straight?

5) It doesn't really go into how the pheromones work.

6) Since the females are the minority, it makes sense that males would have some sort of courting method, as the Salazzle or female Salandit would have first pick of all potential suitors. Ex. Like how some animals will pretend to be a member of the opposite gender so that the competitor will waste their sperm.

7) The last sentence on the IHC section reads as kinda sexist and in some ways homo (among others) phobic since it assumes everyone's straight, so I'd suggest changing or excising it.

8) The Notable Bio and IHC sections in general need expansion, and the latter might require full rewriting.

So how do dibs actually work around here?

Well, Ikedatakeshi... There happens to be a page that describes how one does place a dib. If you want, the link is https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/FanonPokedex/Dibs

However, I can sum it up pretty briefly; Step 1: Check to see if the Pokemon you want isn't taken Step 2: Come to the thread and claim you wish to write an article on [Insert Here] Step 3: Wait for permission Step 4: Add your claim to the dibs page Step 5: Write your Article and post it on the thread

My advice is to read the Markup Help page. I myself am a newbie at HTML and stuff, but it helps you seem like you know what you're doing. It also helps to read a lot of the articles and view the Article Format, provided by the amazing rmctagg09. He's a great guy, if not a bit blunt. He's usually the one who hands down the permissions.

Which reminds me. rmctagg09, you never really said anything about the Pachirisu article. It kind of makes me nervous, not getting any feedback about it. Yes, I am a bit like Subaru and expect a bit of something from it.

So how long does it usually take for permission to be granted?

EDIT: Okay, rmctagg09, while I felt you were a wee bit harsh, you were right on a lot of counts. To that end, I fixed this up taking your stuff into account, particularly explaining the pheromones, as well as their effects (or in this case, lack thereof) on those with different sexual orientation.

Also, I don't fully know the etiquette or protocol in regards to revisions to entries that underwent critique. If making a new post isn't the way to go, I'll gladly delete this and just edit the previous one with the appropriate changes.

Also, for some reason, Pheromones doesn't link to the appropriate page.

The pheromones directly target the pleasure centers of the brain, [[Brainwashed influencing inhibitions and decision-making capabilities, effectively making those affected weak-willed and subservient to the Salandit/Salazzle].

In regards to Pokemon, no reason or common thread has yet been found, but in the case of humans, those unaffected were noted as having interest in [[Homosexual only other males]], [[Asexual neither sex]], or have [[Aromantic no romantic interest or desires at all]].

After a certain length of time (anywhere from 2-3 months), she lays eggs, [[Explosive Breeder as many as 20-30, with some cases recording over 100.] While female Slandit and Salazzle go off to hunt, the males are left behind to care for their young.
