Locked Pages: Lock, UnLock and Edit requests

On YMMV.Ghostbusters 2016, the entry for They Changed It, Now It Sucks! needs an instance of Never Trust a Trailer edited out.

New suggested wording: A lot of people were not pleased when they heard that the Ghostbusters would now be secret government workers, and that the government is keeping the ghosts a secret from the public.

I'm getting sick of having to fix the work of the Drumpf Plug-in on the Politics page. Either it needs to be locked, or the person doing it needs to get some kind of warning and we add a comment telling people using the plug-in not to edit the page while using it.

Please report anyone using that plugin so we can suspend them. Doing that is an explicit violation of our rules, but we can't know about it unless you tell us.

The offender is dinohunterpat. I'll also add a comment warning in the page itself while I fix the plug-in's damage.

I take it my request for an And You Thought It Would Fail entry for YMMV.Ghostbusters 2016 feels too early to fulfill?

The Tumblr page has a link to a TV tropes Tumblr at the end of the first paragraph. That blog has been defunct for over four years now and seems both sad and oudated to leave it in there without updates.

Looking further, the entire page seems very clearly outdated, referring to the 2013 acquisiton by Yahoo in a tone implying it's up-and-coming. Much of the information in the examples seems to refer to (god this phrase pains me) outdated memes; huge community crossover ships haven't really been popular in years. With this page being locked it seems very difficult to keep any of it fresh or relevant for more than a few months at a time.

In my opinion the better option is to just refer to the phenomena in the past tense.

Boulet Corp: Please recreate and cutlist the page to get rid of a ghost wick.

Rule 81 in the Evil Overlord List could do with changing, or at the very least an addendum should be added.

Rule 81 states that if the hero glances behind you and drops flat, then you should do so too. Immediately.

In the live-action movie The Wolverine (the one based in Japan), the titular hero finds himself in a fight with your standard fistful of Yakuza ninja-henchmen atop a fast-moving train. Some signs-slash-signal-platforms that the train passes under are high, and he who doesn't duck gets smacked. Likewise for the ones that are low, and need to be jumped.

Wolverine uses the enemy's knowledge of Rule 81 to his advantage when he's in a position to see what's coming, and the enemy is not. He fakes like he's seen a low-hanging sign, and moves to jump over it. The enemy sees Wolverine's actions, and jumps high without checking behind him.

Unfortunately for the bad guy, Wolverine was faking him out. Wolverine's jump was a limp-wristed fake-out "hop", while the enemy lept high, only to get smacked by a sign a meter above the train.

In this, the wise and all-knowing Wolverine shows us that Good Is Not Stupid. Ducking when he ducks, and jumping when he jumps, will only give him an advantage over you.

This is also shown, in a roundabout way, by the Shikamaru vs Kin fight in Anime/Naruto. He forced her to duck when he ducked. However, she was closer to the wall than he was, resulting in her being knocked unconscious.

TLDR: Duck when the enemy ducks, sure. But only as much as he ducks, and only if the environment won't knock you out. The Evil Overlord List should be modified to reflect this.
