This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

For the Spider-Man entry on Big Bra to Fill, remove the "recently" bit? The story sinkholed to was six years ago, and in the context of the movie, they never separated. Also, could the reference to the "2000s movies" link to Film.Spider-Man Trilogy?

There are three supporters and no current naysayers in the Complete Monster cleanup thread for removing the Desus entry in Monster.Tabletop Games , due to inaccuracy (confusion between him and another character) and several disqualifying traits.
On the discussion page for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, there is a suggestion to change "daily reports" to "weekly reports" on the description page.
Also, YMMV.Sonichu needs Everyone Remembers the Stripper renamed to Best Known for the Fanservice

On the Fannage listing, please remove "Though in a perfect example of serial deleting in action there's currently a discussion of the idea some guy had to 'merge' (delete) all the Enterprise episode pages so instead of the detailed summaries which currently exist there is a couple of sentences for each." This is both a violation of Examples Are Not Recent and it seems like complaining.

Discussed that with the staff, and the general consensus was to not use them. As written, those are essentially Zero Context Examples, neither character exactly fits the Betty/Veronica mold, and Aerith/Cloud could never happen in canon as Aerith caught a mild case of death.
The trope name was changed.
