Weird dreams

Last night's dream, I don't remember all too well, but here's what I do remember.

In reading class, we were doing our recent assignments on some nonexistent Dr. Seuss chapter book for whatever reason, and there was an animated adaptation of it that I watched at home...I think? and I showed the book to my parents and my sister was there, and then it became a picture book...? instructing you to color in the shapes on the first two pages? And then it turned into a chapter book again, but it was suddenly told in the point of view of Bakabon, and the last line was "I hide my Unagi Inu stuffed animal; it was my only form of companionship." ...Or something equally stupid.

And then I was somewhere else (I don't know where), and there were plush toys. I grabbed Papa, Bakabon, and Chibita, and I said, "These dolls are too heavy to carry!" and Bakabon falls out of my arms.

There was a shelf full of Pokemon merchandise, and some guy walks up from behind me and asks, "How do you get over the water?" and I say, "Take Pikachu," and I throw a Pikachu pillow at him. He doesn't accept this very lackluster "answer", so I hand him Pokemon Red and Blue, which was one game for some reason and on an NES cartridge and say, "Train Squirtle and teach him to surf. Then you should be able to get over the water."

Then I find a light purple VHS tape that says "Ene-tan" in small print. I exclaim, "She's real! Ene-tan is real!"

I woke up after that.

The night before last, I dreamed I was Furball in an episode of Tiny Toon Adventures. I don't remember everything else that happened, though. I think Elmyra and Mary Melody were fighting over who was my real owner.

Last night's dream heavily involved Pete's Dragon. I don't remember all the details of this one, either. If I remember correctly, I was Elliot (all right!) helping a kid named Pete (obviously) in a plot remarkably like the 1977 film, only taking place in some era resembling the 1990s and taking place in my home state instead of Maine (or Oregon). I remember meeting my grandparents as Elliot, but for some reason they knew it was me.

In a recent one I'm living on an alien planet. My home is near the shore of a long and skinny island with very steep and tall mountains (30,000ft+). I'm needed on the other side of the mountain range ASAP and all the flights are booked weeks in advance.

This dream had me driving a specialized car capable of handling airliner altitudes (pressurized cabin, highly turbosupercharged engine, oversized fuel tank, extremely good brakes, &c) from near sea-level to a 32,000ft mountain pass and then back down again.

I was doing push-ups. That's it. Just doing push-ups, concentrating on form, and counting how many I'd done.

In my dream last night, Calvin and Hobbes got an animated film adaptation. The animation was done in a similar style to The Peanuts Movie - CGI made to resemble the original strip's art style. But despite this, the movie's storyline was much Darker and Edgier.

In this movie, all of Calvin's Imagine Spots from the comics were real. All the monsters and everything. Surprisingly, the worst monster of all was Susie, who went through a heck of a lot of Adaptational Villainy and became the Big Bad. In this movie, she would regularly transform into various monsters and devour people she hated, all while acting sweet and innocent to everyone else. She took many different forms throughout the dream, but the only ones I remember were a giant snake, and a creature that resembled a spider or scorpion.

Also in the movie, Calvin's family got new neighbors - a rich couple who were supposedly from Hawaii, but their skin was extremely pale. They invited Calvin's family to come swim in their pool, which had two halfs, one warm and sunny, and one cold and dark. The neighbors stayed in the dark part and watched Calvin's family swim in the sunny part.

There was also a scene where Calvin was trapped with a race of humanoid crabs who were trying to convince him (through song!) to join them. They actually seemed pretty friendly, though. I think they just wanted him to join them so he would be safe from the other monsters.

Strangely enough, throughout the entire dream, we never saw Hobbes come to life or hear his voice, which was disappointing.

Had this dream a couple or so weeks ago, thank God I still remember deets.

Apparently, in the dream, me and a friend from school (let's call her Amy) were making a TV Tropes page for a very cringy fanfiction I never completed. (won't say the fandom but it features a dog, take your guess)

Amy was also making the page with another friend (or two), and the whole scenario began with dream me walking into the school's computer lab and seeing Amy and her friend/s make the page.

And noticed something pretty meta: I had some dreams relating to this site since I was on it. TV Tropes will ruin your life indeed.

How about that, now two people on here have had dreams about a Calvin and Hobbes movie.

I had to pick up my daughter, and my nieces and nephews, from...somewhere. Another mom asked me to pick up her kids, and I agreed...and then I learned that they lived in Utah. >_< (I live in Colorado.) I had to drive an RV to Utah to drop those damn kids off, while I had my kids with me.

Also, Saiyans. I don't know why they were there. But they were in the RV with the kids.

I had an odd dream based off of a movie I watched a few days ago, called Inferno.

Basically, one of my friends was hunting for a virus which would kill half of humanity's entire population, but they had no idea where it was.

Myself, my family, and the Crystal Gems were also hunting for the virus, but neither of us knew where to look, though eventually, after some quirky cartoonish humor, we ended up in Istanbul, at the cistern where the movie had ended, only to find the virus wasn't there. After most of our group armed themselves, we decided to split up and search numerous areas.

Eventually, I figured that maybe my friend would be in our hometown, and arrived to find them chasing another friend, who had a fragile, glass vial with the virus in it.

I, unfortunately, had chosen not to arm myself, and got into a fist fight, before breaking the vial over the evil friend's head.

Then, I coughed, and suddenly, the dream cut to a barren wasteland before I woke up.

The gems were still alive, and protecting what was left of humanity, though.

I just woke up from a dream where I'm sailing a fully rigged ship that's not much bigger than a sunfish straight into a hurricane.

A sunfish is about 13' long, 4' wide, draws a few inches of water, weighs less than I do, and has a Coast Guard stamp that says "4 people, 400lbs".

In a recent one, I was hanging out in a bad neighborhood containing a possessed/haunted mansion, I saw a guy a bit older than me, and he pulled a gun on me, before noticing who I was. Then he put his gun away.

I think I tried to pay him money for some reason, maybe because my stupid dream self didn't know what being let go by a gunman meant.

Last night, I dreamed that my entire house had been abandoned for many years. There was a thick coating of dust on everything, spider webs were all over the place, and I was all alone. I went outside, but the rest of my neighborhood was similarly abandoned. I ran down the street, shouting for somebody to help me, but I was all alone.

The worst part was, I had a one-way radio attached to me. As I ran down the street, it kept repeating, "It's the end, it's the end..." with a robotic voice over and over. Finally, I gave up and started crying, and that's when I woke up.

I had a recent dream where I was chasing my dog through some sort of appliances store, and I got locked in, along with him.

Then, during the night, I managed to find him and exit through a door linked to a mansion.

Seeing as it was totally legit, I decided to watch a movie with my younger bro and dog, which turned out to be Final Destination.

Then, after some cheerful first person POV switches to the doomed characters, I woke up.

A dream I had while sick a few days ago: It started off with me at my grandparents' house as my sisters and I were apparently leaving to go on a vacation with them. We piled in a car began heading to wherever we were going. (I can't remember where.) As we went on, though, things began to get weird. The highway signs we passed constantly changed what they said, the number of the interstate highway we were driving down was inconsistent (I remember it being everything from 85 to 76 to 90).

Then we started going up a very tall mountain...though it was less that we were going up a mountain and more that the road just started spiraling upward off the ground around one. The loops around the mountain got tighter and tighter until the road transformed into a giant spinning platform covered in flashing disco lights. At the same time, our vehicle disappeared and we were just standing there on this spinning platform as it spun in the sky thousands of feet off the ground. Between how high we were off the ground and how fast the platform was spinning, I became very dizzy and fell onto the floor; gripping it with all my might and closing my eyes. I don't remember how long that lasted, but all I remember is that after what felt like hours, I was suddenly woken up by my sister (still in the dream). Upon waking up, I found myself lying on a picnic blanket in a picnic area in some sort of petting zoo. No one brought up the giant floating spinning platform, which made me wonder if it really was just a dream (within the dream).

I got up and discovered that the petting zoo contained numerous different Mario enemies. My sister showed me a pen housing some tiny Piranha Plants. They sat there nipping at people's fingers until, apropos of nothing, they suddenly turned into origami sculptures. For some reason, I felt compelled to smash them flat with my hand, and after that the scene abruptly changed to us on the road again. This time, we were driving along a mountain road (this time on solid ground) in an autumn setting. We were apparently now travelling with a whole bunch of other vacationers, and we all stopped at a rest area for a bathroom break. I opened Pokémon Go on my phone and saw that a Riolu(?!) was nearby. I attempted to catch it...and then I woke up, this time for real.

One of my recurring dreams is me on a spaceship headed to Ceres with three other people that's smaller than Salyut 7 and less advanced than a smartphone.

In these dreams I'm 12 years old. I can't be younger than that because I'm the tallest person present. I'm just shy of 6'0" and was taller than my dad when I was 11 (he's 5'9"). I also can't be older than that because, in the dreams, menarche hadn't yet happened (my first period came a few days before my 13th birthday).

I was working out at the gym at work when a couple of bad guys came in and took everyone hostage. One of the other people pressed the emergency button on his radio (the one that means "Please throw the entire police department at this location, and no, we can't talk"). Then we all decided to troll the crap out of the bad guys and annoy them so badly that they'd go outside and meet the police.

We did this by singing Backstreet Boys, eating snacks and not sharing with them, and smoking weed and also not sharing that. And somehow a cow got inside the building, too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've had two recent odd dreams.

In the first one, I was riding in the back of a massive van, full of people, off to some sort of madhouse. Along the way, I managed to lose a few teeth, permanent ones. (That part's actually an odd occurrence in many of my dreams, as well.)

As soon as we arrived, I noticed the stairs weren't attached to the house, yet still standing up, and my grandparents were there, with many dogs. After somehow managing to get inside, despite there being no stairs to the really tall madhouse, I bumped into Roger Rabbit, who was in the middle of some odd torture contraption which would cover him in itching powder and slap him silly.

Then, the other inmate- sorry, patients and I, ended up 'racing' through a gauntlet of death. Spikes, crushing walls, the works. After that, we bumped into Tavros and Gamzee, at which point we began to go through a black and white version of the madhouse, being told that we were in another dimension.

As if on cue, Gamzee decided to use the Red Miles, despite not being a carapacian. Then, we spent the rest of that dream running back to our dimension.

During the entire thing, I was still looking for my teeth.

In the second dream, I was with the Crystal Gems, at the Zoo, on a mission to save Greg, and later Steven. Pearl suggested we split up, at which point Holly Blue Agate showed up, and I had to bluff my way into being a higher ranking gem, despite clearly being a human under my 'outfit'.

I managed to locate Greg, at which point they asked me where Steven was, and we started looking for him. Meanwhile, however, Steven discovered a massive system of pipes, and managed to get sucked into one, after finding out plenty of baby animals had been abducted, similar to the Zoomans. Greg and I, after a quick freakout, began slowly and sneakily approaching Steven, as he got sucked around in the tubes. Eventually, we managed to get him down, at which point Pearl disconnected from the main tour group to ask why it was taking so long. After chastising me for letting Steven get lost, despite the fact that we had all split up, she took Steven and Greg, while I went with Ruby and Amethyst, along with Holly Blue Agate, who had been watching the baby animals get unloaded, while plotting on Zoo expansion.

After a slightly insensitive comment from Holly Blue, Amethyst tried to stick up for her, while attempting to sound like a common military grunt. It was...not exactly the best attempt. Somehow, it fooled her.

Then, we caught up with Sapphire, who was busy beating the crap out of everyone, as some messed up Homeworld exercise for the upper class, during which Ruby 'suggested' she get back to the ship. Holly Blue Agate, however, decided to accompany us to the hangar bay where our ship was, and decided to ask me a question.

"So, what Kindergarten were you made at?"

I froze, as she winked, and was too far out of range to ask for help on the question, while the others made it to the ship.

Then, as she became slightly suspicious, and both Yellow and Blue Diamond, stood, having been spectating on Sapphire beating the utter crap out of everyone in a pixelated format, I woke up.

I was in the world of A Series Of Unfortunate Events. Count Olaf wanted to get into a secret area in our mansion (New mansion? Old one didn't burn down? I dunno, but I was either Violet or Klaus), and trapped me in his car, but I unlocked it and ran away to get help. It was around 6:00 so it was still dark (but beginning to get brighter), and then I found myself hiding in a bush. Count Olaf was around, but he couldn't see me (it somehow became daylight in like 5 seconds, and the bush was smack in the middle of a beautiful flower field). I burst out and ran away.

Think that's all.

Dr. Gaster was finally pulled out of the void by a Chipotle employee, who was immediately recognizable due to wearing a luridly-colored nylon hat. Gaster was mostly just a pile of goop with a skull face but he seemed friendly.

One thing that sticks out in my dreams last night was a bizarre episode of Doctor Who. In it, the Doctor, who was Capt. Jack Sparrow for some inexplicable reason, and the companion Martha were on the Titanic (the actual one from 1912, not the replica from that one Christmas episode) trying to rid the ship of some strange monsters. I remember one of them was a creepy wraith-like monster that incinerated people just by touching them for twenty seconds. For some bizarre reason, at one point the Doctor/Jack Sparrow and Martha went undercover by transforming themselves into seals with the TARDIS's Chameleon Arch. There was also a ton of Anachronism Stew despite being in the early 1900s. (One of the victims of the aforementioned wraith was a Paris Hilton lookalike whose hair and clothes were from more recent times.) I woke up before I could see the ending.

I also had another dream where my family and I had gone to the mountains to go skiing and inadvertently caused an avalanche.

Last night's dream was extremely foggy and the only thing I remember is Makoto teaching Aigis how to ride a bike.

I'm too tall (5'11") to be an Austronaut and my 215lb weight also rules me out. I'm both too tall and too heavy for a Soyuz to take me into space.

We were back in the house that I lived in until I was 18. My mom had turned on the TV and found a Trout Fishing in America performance. The next thing I knew, I was at an actual concert of theirs held in some kind of hotel or something. And for some reason, I was dressed as Asriel. I left the concert and went through some kind of parking garage that emptied out next to a river. There was a kid drowning in the river and I managed to rescue him, but the river was rising and starting to flood out the parking garage.

ETA: And at some point, Linda Davis was singing "Company Time", and I was surprised that my sister knew the words.

Just remembered a dream I had last night:

I dreamed that I had the Nintendo Switch. I was having fun slipping the Joy Cons on and off just so I could hear that wonderful *click* every time I did. Then I got up to do something...and then everything I did made the Switch Click noise. I closed a cabinet door. *click* I turned on the TV. *click* I clicked my computer's mouse. *click*

I think I'm getting too hyped up for this console...

I wish I remembered more about this dream I had a couple days ago, but anyway...

In this dream, I was with Sam & Max and the BLU team, and we were all on this big adventure that took us around the world.

The only part I remember for sure was one part where we were in a hospital. For some reason, we were mistaken for hospital staff and told to get back to work, so we ended up having to do hospital work.
