What version? The butchered original cinema version or the slightly less hacked-up "Director's Cut"? Either are good, but the latter has Ash Buchanan being presented to the landlord's daughter, Willow, for their mutual pleasure, and it's strangely pleasurable to see Sir Christopher Lee, as Lord Summerisle, being a straight up pimp.
I don't know. :S The Netflix envelope didn't say which one it is.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Criminal: So Okay, It's Average
Batman-The Killing Joke:So, I haven't read the original comic, and I heard this movie was padded for length, but I think I could tell what wasn't supposed to be there.
The late-era Marilyn Chambers film, "Edge Play", directed by Veronica Hart. Actually quite a good story for an erotic film.
The Raid (2011). Awesome isn't the word.
The Killing Joke. First half is atrocious, second half is okay. Animation is jerky throughout.
Non Indicative UsernameKeanu. I liked the first bit, but the rest was meh.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). It wasn't quite as bad as the reviews indicated, but it certainly wasn't good. I give it a 4/10.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Recess: School's Out. It was good and funny.

would not recommend unless you happen to enjoy messy, quick-paced, and dull films with cliches left and right
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"AKIRA. Gorgeous animation, and interesting characters, with a fascinating story. I can definitely see how it created a whole generation of anime fans.
That said, while it was a really great, fantastic movie...I'm not sure if I liked it. Might've been a bit too bleak for me, and the Mind Screw of an ending just left me feeling like I'm not smart enough to understand it. Wonder if I'd like the manga better, with it being much longer and in-depth?
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Pulp Fiction. So that's what Nick Fury did before he joined S.H.I.E.L.D.
Non Indicative UsernameGhostbusters (2016). Now I really want to see the original movies!
He may be a giant, nightmarish brute, but like all villains in this series,he sure can sing.Star Trek Beyond. This was nothing amazing, but it had its moments and was fairly entertaining as a whole. The opening scene is a CMOF and made me think of Galaxy Quest for some reason, and I liked the character of Jaylah for being a non-sexualized badass Action Girl with a little depth.

I saw Suicide Squad this afternoon. Allow me to quote The Nostalgia Critic: This movie was okay!
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Suicide Squad I thought it was great.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure"Jane Doe - Ah Yes, I Remember It Well" - one of the series of movies from Hallmark about a soccer mom who is also a secret agent. I have to confess I enjoyed the heck out of it. I've seen worse acting from much higher paid actors in movies that cost a fuck load more money.
Saw several recently.
Saw Star Trek Beyond early August. Really enjoyed it, thought it was as close to the original franchise while still feeling like a modern sci-fi action flick.
Saw DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp on iTunes the other day. Aside from a few clunky moments in terms of pacing, occasional animation errors, and voice acting, it still holds up surprisingly well, 26 years from its initial release date, and was a hell of a blast of nostalgia.
Finally saw The Room yesterday on Youtube. What else can I say, but YOH TELLIN' ME APAHT, LEEESAH!
Love tearing bad movies to shreds? Join us every night at 8 PMHamlet. The one with Mel Gibson banging his mom.
The same about all Shakespeare movies: quite boring, and you only watch them to know the plot. I read Hamlet a while back, and I wanted to see it again acted. It was ok, I wish I had some pop corns.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Cloverfield, I thought it was fairly decent. I honestly thought it was going to be garbage. While I didn`t like it as much as 10 Cloverfield Lane, I did enjoy it overall. 6/10 stars, it was flawed but still enjoyable.
Green Room. A pretty well-done indie horror/thriller film set in a remote rock club, with most of the action taking place in the title room. The two things I'd heard about that made me interested: 1) Patrick Stewart as a villainous skinhead, and 2) the heroes playing 'Nazi Punks Fuck Off' to an audience of skinheads.

I've got two, actually, both on Netflix.
First is Event Horizon. A pretty good sci-fi horror flick, it reminded me a bit of Hellraiser.
After that, I watched The Little Prince, partly because to soothe the horror of the previous film and partly because I've been meaning to do so for awhile now. It was fantastic, I really loved the mixture of animation and the story, though it can be a little Anvilicious at times.
Today and tomorrow they are having a Harry Potter marathon because it is Harry Potter's birthday tomorrow. They are playing all the movies except Order of the Phoenix.
The current movie is Half-Blood Prince.
