Zootopia. I loved it. It was funny and the themes were quite interesting. It was Anvilicious, but I appreciated its directness regarding those themes.

Hey.Con Air: a stupid but fun action movie.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."I'd argue that Con Air is an extremely SMART movie but agree on the fun bit. There's a Cracked article somewhere out there that goes into great detail about how conservative the film is, in the sense of American right-wing conservatism, and it's pretty convincing. Every part of the film bar Cage's character is crafted to appease the views of the people who subscribe to that kind of thinking.
Hulk vs. Wolverine. It was a pretty fun action movie, and a fairly violent one at that.
I saw the article and I don't really agree with it, well some parts I could see as conservative, however their ideas don't really mesh well in my opinion.I'm not really in the mood to argue and go off topic about this, so lets just agree to disagree.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."Truth in Journalism (2013): Another freely available Marvel fan film by the producer of The Punisher: Dirty Laundry. Commendable, even though I personally care too much for it.
Yeah, I remember once seeing a clip of him in Dracula Exotica (which I've heard almost nothing but good things about). Definitely an instance of I Was Quite the Looker.
Bowling for Columbine still shocks me, no matter how many times I watch it.
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propoganda- Breaking Point (1975): The only other film that Bo Arne Vibenius wrote or directed after Thriller: A Cruel Picture. It's creepy, weird, and kind of blackly comedic, with a random (well, more than it already is) finale that swerves into action territory (complete with a police helicopter being shot down and exploding) before the twist ending.
Taking Five. So, I was in the dollar store near my work when I thought I saw one of my old friends' faces on the cover of a DVD for sale there, and it turned out it really was him - he's a former member of the group The Click Five, and about 10 years ago they played the Fake Band in a teen comedy about two girls kidnapping a Boy Band in order to force them to play at their high school. So yeah, I mainly approached it looking for opportunities to affectionately rib a friend about his sole acting credit (which I got), but it was charming enough. A couple of touches I liked in terms of tropes: the Alpha Bitch gets her comeuppance in a "The Reason You Suck" Speech, but otherwise isn't ostracized in any way that would make the main characters seem hypocritical; The two main girls (sort of) have love interests, but the focus is more on them strengthening their own friendship, and neither end the movie paired off with anyone, even though two of the supporting characters do note
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.Fun fact: They spoil William's death right on the poster. Seriously. Take a look at it.
Clan of Amazons.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."Two movies.
Civil War: I was afraid this movie would become the worst movie of the MCU, mostly because 1) the trailers are all terrible, 2) the Team nonsense on twitter is so Twilight it hurts, 3) Is based on an already controversial comic book 4) The fight scenes in Winter Soldier were so bad my eyes felt sick.
What I found was... an ok movie. It was a fun movie. Loved Ant-Man and Spidey. The fight scenes were pretty good... but that's it. A solid 4/5, and not the best movie in the universe, but a solid conclusion to the Captain America trilogy, which has the best movies in the MCU outside of the original Iron Man.
Nausica of the valley of the wind... I'm sorry, but I don't like it. The themes are treated less well than in Mononoke, and I found myself bored out of it. Is gorgeus, yeah, but so is every Miyazaki film. A solid start, but Mononoke did it better. Here the themes feel more black and white, and the characters are not as memorable.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Specifically the George Lucas Altered Version because that's what the library had.
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.Casino Royale. While it's not my favorite 007 movie, it's definitely up there.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Children of Men. Fazed out a few times, but those long tracking shots? Absolutely insanely beautiful.
"Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen."Ed Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show: a great way to end a great series.
Ya, I'm weird like that...I saw The Jungle Book (2016) on Sunday. It was friggin' awesome! Highly recommend it if you're looking for a movie to go see.
It was a little intense for all the toddlers in the theatre, though.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Goldeneye.
"Take your weapon; strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete."I rewatched Inside Llewyn Davis on Tuesday. It's one of my favorite movies, and honestly may be tied with Fargo for my favorite Coen Brothers movie. Every song in it is amazing, it looks beautiful, and I want to have Oscar Isaac's babies.
Inside Out, for the third time.
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"Captain America: Civil War.
I was kind of confused about why Tony and Steve chose their side, but the movie made it more clear. I liked that they realized that innocent people are involved in their city-scale fights and there are consequences, which is pretty realistic there. And it got really heart retching near the end... I'd give it a solid 9/10.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.
Kite. India Eisley is stumbling around wild-eyed and generally messed up (due to being high AF or coming down from being high AF), doing some Waif-Fu from time to time. Samuel L. Jackson is very Samuel L. Jackson. And the recreation of the bathroom shootout has a glorious example of Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy, with one mook trying to hit the protagonist five times, taking out the other mook with a perfect headshot by complete accident.
