Meanwhile one town over, a master esper has been feeling odd mental pulses that have been shaking him to his very core lately, and so he begins to investigate the source of this disturbance. He eventually meets The Hero and friends — the latter of which are terribly sleep deprived as much as their faces have drowned in their own tears.

It's the final battle. Every member of the Five-Man Band has been putting their very best effort into fighting the Big Bad... but to no avail. The Big Bad actually kills each of the heroes, one by one. He gloats and laughs at their futile attempts to defeat him.

But then... (cue song)

In comes the Big Good! He revives all the heroes and increases their power, and all six of them charge at the Big Bad, who has suddenly become much less confident.

The hero walks alone through a vast, empty cave. As he goes, he reflects upon recent happenings - the betrayal of one of his close friends, and the death at said friend's hand of another friend. At the end of his reminiscence, he resolves to continue on, and rushes to confront his former friend, with hope in his heart of having him listen to reason.

World of Scattering Flowers from Bravely Default

A wizard, wishing to do right by the wishes of his dead wife, uses the last of his power to raise a fortress from the ground. The fortress is filled with all the rations, weapons and armor that the struggling town needs to fend off the impending fleet of invaders. After the last of his incantations, the wizard collapses at his desk, dead.

A trek through an abandoned manufacturing district. Filled with derelict factories and warehouses, this formerly bustling place is now home only to old, rusted machinery. Pollution from the now-cracked chimneys still seep through the buildings. Even nature itself find it hard to reclaim this place, what with the very sparse vegetation that grow throughout the industrial landscape.

Our protagonist has spent the entire story - scratch that, his entire life - imprisoned in a secret underground facility. After he and the friends he has made throughout the story finally escape at the end, they venture outside for the first time in their lives. It's night, and since the facility is in a remote area. there are no lights, allowing them to see a multitude of stars.

A small construct, brought to life by its creator's dying wish, wakes up in a dusty storeroom. It gets up and stumbles outside, right into a derelict village torn apart by war and bloodshed. The audience can tell this just by looking, but the construct is too naive to understand and goes about picking at the wreckage and bones curiously.

A parkour competition is held in a very surreal pocket dimension with elements modelled after platform games interspersed among floating buildings.

A group of Chosen Ones have reached their final destination, the final dungeon. This song plays as they journey through the final dungeon, indicating they have been doing very well.

The hero and The Lancer, on a speedboat, are being chased by some mooks on jetskis. Every now and then, one of the mooks will get close to the speedboat. The hero is standing on the boat's stern while the Lancer drives, so that the hero can fight each mook as they get closer. As they speed across the ocean, dolphins and other animals occasionally jump out of the water.

The theme to a Goldfish Poop Gang out to take over the world! ...Or so they say. In actuality, they're really bad at their jobs of eliminating the heroes.
