Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Soccer Mom, Villainous Masquerade and Enemy At School were cutlisted. Waiting for more commentary on Civilization Of Omnidisciplinary Geniuses.
Today's delayed worklist:
- Citrus: Somewhat incomplete page. Didn't message yet given the edit reason.
- Craft Sequence: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Mercenary Kings: Again a work page by NTC3, without crosswicking and several ZCE.
- Slick Chick: Another page by rjung. Crosswicking is good, but a couple of ZCE are bad especially given that I already asked them not to do that.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFast Eddie said something about it in Ask The Tropers. need input on the discussion there.
Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?Today's worklist:
- Anne Boleyn: Useful Notes page in wrong namespace and with no list of works she's appeared in. Cutlist?
- Civilization Of Omnidisciplinary Geniuses: Um, are we sure that Proud Scholar Race Guy covers that? A race is not a character. The aversions should go away though, and what are the inversions?
- Disenchanted: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Guardiansofthe Night: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Jane Seymour: Useful Notes page in wrong namespace and with no list of works she's appeared in. Cutlist?
Coral created both Jane and Anne: it is likely that they are on a Henry the VIII kick, and need to be reminded that this wiki isn't for troping real life people. Recommend they write about whichever work they're currently reading/watching that has them interested.
If they do get a Useful Notes page, we probably just need it to be a folder for UsefulNotes.Henry VIII, since they are pretty much defined as his wives, instead of characters by themselves.
Re:Civl- a race is not a character, and a civilization is not a character either. It's been a week and there's no cross-wicking, and the sectioning is different from most of the rest of the wiki for no reason. There might be a separate trope here from Proud Scholar Race Guy, but it needs the community effort of YKTTW to foster that.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Evil Narrator Protagonist All Along was launched with only one hat by it's sponsor Valorie. And while people were debating it was The Same But More Specific of one trope or another.
That and the title of the YKTTW was Evil Narrator / Protagonist All Along. So the sponsor merged two alternate titles when they launched it.
Jane and Anne should probably be subsets on Henry VIII's page. (I always felt really sorry for Jane.)
Evil Narrator Etc makes me think of Decoy Protagonist (a redirect is False Protagonist) and also reminds me of of Villain Protagonist. In the short story collection If I were an Evil Overlord, there's several of the latter, including at least one first person. In other words, it needs a ton of work, besides the terrible manners of launching with one hat and during discussion.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchettuh, input on You Know Nothing About X in Ask The Tropers please? it's getting buried already...
Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?Today's worklist:
- City Hunters: See the discussion page.
- Dangan Ronpa Equestria: Stub article; creator messaged.
- Evil Narrator Protagonist All Along: There is no crosswicking or indexing
- Totally Captivated: Ironeye wants to see the page moved, but without trope examples, I do not see why having the page elsewhere makes it better...
- You Know Nothing About X: The YKTTW description is not really something we can fix here.
- Yugoslavia And Nothing Of Value Was Lost: Stub work page in wrong namespace.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman@You Know Nothing About X, I was referring to Eddie's suggestion to change the definition to what he said in Ask The Tropers.
@ Evil Narrator Protagonist All Along, ignoring lack of xwick & stuff, OP ignored the hat system and launched with one hat. I say kick back on that.

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?City looks small enough.... I'll make that a project for today. If I can't find anything to build with, I'll give up, but I will go searching for it today.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.OK, how's it look to you guys, now?
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Better, although I hope the cutmasters will accept a 3-day deadline in the future - asking suddenly for more is more additional work that I like.
Anyhoo, worklist:
- Child Bride: Exampleless work page; creator messaged.
- SelfDemonstrating.Hsien Ko: Page consisting only of an image. Also, as such it doesn't look Self-Demonstrating at all.
Today's worklist:
- Bay 12 Katawa Shoujo Role Play: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Love in the Time of Cholera: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Totally Captivated: Need more opinion there.
- Ur: Stub trope with only one example.
Ur: Don't we already have Ur-Example? This seems like the same thing.
Totally Captivated: Needs moving to the right namespace, examples, and the description could stand to be expanded with more detail.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCut Ur: It's effectively a duplicate of "ur-example" for our purposes (for general vocabulary purposes, well, we aren't a dictionary.) It's also likely to cause confusion, because Ur does not mean "the best" or "the trope namer", it simply means "the oldest, the first example".

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The Good Cripple: stub trope page. Only one example when I saw it.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Good Cripple: That's coming across a bit People Sit on Chairs. There might be a trope in the idea, but not on that page. I say cut, unless someone wants to try and YKTTW it.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCut it. It's basically "a handicapped person who is just ... a handicapped person." I suspect that the person who made it thinks that all trope families must have a trope for every possible type of character (so there's Disability as an Excuse for Jerkassery, Disability Superpower, Disabled Means Helpless, Disabled Snarker, Evil Cripple, Genius Cripple, Inspirationally Disadvantaged, and so on) so they made a trope for "handicapped people who don't fit into any of the other "handicapped" tropes."

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Ok, judging by the input, I'll consider Civilization Of Omnidisciplinary Geniuses as done.
Otherwise:
- Anne Boleyn: Ignoring the trope list that seems inappropriate here, it's still an Useful Notes page in a) the wrong namespace and b) without citing works.
- Dungeons and Randomness: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Good Cripple: Only one trope. Cut that and tell them to not do that again.
- Jane Seymour: Ignoring the trope list that seems inappropriate here, it's still an Useful Notes page in a) the wrong namespace and b) without citing works.
- Totally Captivated: See, that is still an exampleless page, and my PM to its creator went unanswered. If nobody can provide trope examples for that it will have to be cutlisted again.
- Ur: I am inclined to agree with a cut, but it will need more votes.
- Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Stub work page; creator messaged.
I say cut Ur. It's literally not needed.
Totally Captivated: If the creator doesn't want to put in the work, then cut it. It can be recreated properly in the correct namespace if they're so inclined. Anne and Jane's info probably belong in a folder on Henry VIII's page if anywhere.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettYu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V has already been expanded.
Ur can be cut.
Anne Boleyn needs to be namespaced, have the trope list cut, and need a list of works featuring her as a Historical Domain Character put in. Same with Jane Seymour.

'K, I'll see to take care of all that tomorrow. It might have to be postponed to Wednesday.
In the meantime:
- Meaningful Nickname: Trope with only one example and no YKTTW. Messaged to come here.
- Wushu: Stub trope/genre.
Yep. I put on my mod hat and wiki-suspended him. Please Cutlist that one.
