Describe Kalista here.
... No, really. Kalista needs a description... ...Or So I Heard.
Well, duh. There are a lot of things that Kalista is. A lot, really. According to her, she's actually only one of her many incarnations, and possibly does have male versions (although very few).
And then, there are a few things that she isn't.
If Kalista were to establish a chart and to place the various fandoms she knows in there, it would probably be pretty messy. But Kalista enjoys messy things. Meaning your only safe move would be to leave now.
... Still there? Okay. You've been warned. Please take notice that show is used in this chart only because Kalista cannot seem to remember better terms for what she is trying to say. There are video games out there.
S+ Rank: shows that are even better than S Rank shows (which are already excellent). Because, you know, there's gotta be a top.
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Arguably one of the best anime out there since Neon Genesis Evangelion, as far as Kalista is concerned. Oh, and this show is litterally filled with Kalista's Versions. Pretty much every named character is one to an extend.
- Neon Genesis Evangelion. And, to an ever greater extend, Rebuild of Evangelion. Kalista has been described as an actual Fangirl when it comes to this particular show, and is pretty proud to be considered as such.
- Suzumiya Haruhi. Because, duh, Kalista "is" Haruhi (according to her, anyway).
- Pokemon. Actually, Kalista has an ongoing fanfiction in this universe. Problem is, it's in French. Might be translated later, especially considering it is relatively popular in the French fandom.
- Persona 4. Best PS 2 game eveeeeeer. Also, the characters are deep and they evolve a lot.
- Durarara. Urban Fantasy and Fantasy Kitchen Sink? Kalista lieks.
- Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. Go, Nanoha-StrikerS! Incidentally, in this anime, guys usually aren't the strongest characters. Kalista kinda likes that.
- Simoun. Gender is an important subject to Kalista, which is the reason she was interested in Simoun at first. She didn't regret watching it.
S Rank: shows that Kalista considers to be on the absolute top of doomy doom.
- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. This anime is basically made of pure awesomeness. Incidentally, Kalista does not know of any other show where madness and hot-bloodedness actually are what the universe runs on.
- The World Ends With You. That one's all thanks to TV Tropes.
- Lucky Star, for the coolness factor. Oh, and Konata? Kalista, again. Kalista's everywhere.
- Chrono Trigger and its sequel, Chrono Cross. Time travel and multiverses are among Kalista's favorite forms of mind screw.
- Tales Of Symphonia, mainly because of its high HSQ.
- Card Captor Sakura and its twin sequels.
- Kingdom Hearts. Mixing Disney and Final Fantasy? Hell yeah!
- Doctor Who. A recent addition. Kalista enjoys pretty much every part of it so far.
A Rank: shows that Kalista would recommend to most people.
- Code Geass. Particularly for Lelouch Lamperouge and Kururugi Suzaku.
- Gundam Seed. Basically Kalista's first mecha, and still one of her favorites.
- Le Chevalier D Eon. Even though it isn't exactly historically accurate.
- Fate Stay Night, which is basically an huge crossover based upon legends. Heracles versus King Arthur? We have it.
B Rank: shows that Kalista would recommend to amateurs mainly.
- Pretty Face, a pretty neat cross dressing story.
- Strawberry Egg. Kalista particularly enjoyed the absence of any serious romantic plot (which was vital considering the context), and the cross-dressing technology involved. Science thinks of everything!
C Rank: most shows.
D Rank: shows that don't even reach an alternative form of enjoyability.
- Gundam Seed Destiny. Hell, even the producer agreed on that.
