Note: This is the continuation of the non-canon April Fools' Day special.
Pinkie Pie, Sonata Dusk, and Megalon leave the world of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and continue to travel the multiverse trying to find Megalon's universe to connect them and got lost on the way. They have just left a world that seems to be a blend of The Legend of the Titanic and Titanic: The Legend Goes On, given it had both the rapping dog and the octopus. The trio are disgusted and call it an atrocity.
They go through another portal and Sonata lands alone. She quickly learns she's in Pokémon as a trainer and releases two pokeballs containing her friends. Megalon is a Heracross and Pinkie is a Ponyta. To their chagrin, they can only use Pokémon Speak. Pinkie accidentally sets Megalon on fire. Sonata puts him out by spraying Full Restore and tells them to look around and find the portal. Ironically, Megalon had once scanned Earth's Internet and knows of the Pokemon games, but didn't see anything about the anime. They examine the camp ground and Sonata comments it doesn't make sense that one person could carry all this equipment. Pinkie sees a fishing rod with its line in a lake and tries to pull it out, but this causes the Gyarados on the other end of the line to emerge and attack them. Sonata quickly orders Pinkie to use Flamethrower and Megalon to use Cross-Chop, but their type disadvantage means they barely inflicted any damage. It swipes them with its tail and knocks them back. Sonata realizes they cannot win and orders them to run away, but the angry Gyarados chases them. Sonata opens her backpack and throws things at the sea serpent to slow it down, amused that the backpack is Bigger on the Inside. One item inside is a family photo of the Sensational Sisters. Sonata looks at her outfit and realizes she is Misty, then discovers the connection to another world literally inside her bag. They take shelter in a cave, Sonata pulls the portal out of her bag, and they jump through it just in time to avoid the Gyarados ramming down the cave.
They land in a chamber in Revolutionary Girl Utena, with Sonata as Utena, Pinkie as Anthy the Rose Bride, and Megalon as an attendant. Sonata explains the connection was that Rachael Lillis voiced Misty and Utena. Megalon suddenly realizes the world they need to go to is Sailor Moon. It was made by Toei Animation, and its live action branch worked on several Kaiju projects, which will be the connection to Godzilla. And since they are already in a Magical Girl show, a genre Sailor Moon was the codifier for, they figure there should be a portal to it somewhere nearby. Sonata briefly explains the plot of Utena and they agree it doesn't make much sense. Pinkie notes the dress she's wearing and says Rarity would like it, then gets annoyed when told Anthy is a complete pushover and always relies on Utena or someone else to save her. The trio wanders the area, baffled by the architecture and the background music, which they can hear. Megalon can understand Japanese and comments that the lyrics are nonsensical. They get confronted by Akio Ohtori, the main villain, who despite standing on a towering platform above several dozen flights of spiraling stairs, can still be heard due to a splitscreen transition. As he monologues, they notice a portal behind him, and another portal near them on ground level. They decide to avoid climbing up the stairwell and enter the closer portal.
They arrive in the gritty town of Kill la Kill. Sonata is Ryuko Matoi, Megalon is Mako Makanshoku in Mako's Goku Uniform, and Pinkie is literally Sonata's uniform Senketsu. Sonata freaks out and desperately covers herself because her uniform is in "Armor" mode, so it shows off almost all her skin. Megalon gets them back on track as he can see a portal on top of the school. As they move toward it, Satsuki Kiryuin shows up and attacks them with her sword. Megalon picks up Sonata and runs. He decides it will be too difficult to reach the portal on top of the school, so they should return to Utena's world and take their chances with Akio to reach the portal behind him. Since Utena and Kill la Kill both have bizarre architecture, he sprints to the school and jumps into the first doorway he finds.
They arrive back where they started when they first went to Utena's world. They sprint back to where they were last and meet Akio again. He again goes into a monologue, but Sonata loses patience, pulls a rapier out of Pinkie's chest, and throws it hilt-first, where it nails Akio in the head and knocks him off his platform and into the abyss. Pinkie asks where in the world that sword came from and Sonata answers it's just a trait the Rose Bride has. The three can hear Akio's groans of pain from below and comment he was an idiot for talking so long. They go through the portal.
They arrive in Sailor Moon. Sonata and Pinkie are Sailor Scouts while Megalon is Luna. Sonata mocks the fact that the Sailor Scouts' costumes don't disguise their faces, yet the civilians don't recognize them. A monster that looks like a cross between Medusa, a vampire, a member of KISS, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon emerges and attacks the city. Megalon spots some portals, so Pinkie and Sonata fight the monster while he checks them. Sonata asks how they're supposed to fight without any weapons, wishing she had been able to keep Utena's sword. Pinkie explains that her wand is her weapon. All she has to do is say a silly phrase and it will activate. Because the monster is attacking them several times, Sonata has to say, "InTheNameOfEquestriaIWillPunishYou!" very fast. It works and the wand fires a massive blast that obliterates the monster, but also blows Sonata back from the recoil. Pinkie helps the dazed Sonata up, then Megalon tells them he found the right portal.
They arrive in a Kamen Rider/Super Sentai crossover. Below in a quarry, a massive battle is underway. Sonata and Pinkie are equipped with Magiranger's wands, while Megalon has Kabuto Zecter. Megalon explains the girls now have water and wind powers, while he can slow down time. He also explains that as Kamen Rider and Super Sentai owe a lot to the Kaiju franchise, the next portal should lead directly to his world. He saddens them by pointing out Godzilla never had a live action TV show, only movies and two American cartoons. They look around but see portals everywhere. Sonata checks her phone and is dismayed to find they only have seven minutes left before the reset. She asks Megalon to slow down time, but he explains it won't affect the Hall of Media. Pinkie figures out a common trend, giant robot fights. They look around and find the Kamen Rider X villain Starfish Hitler. When he starts smashing the rocks, Pinkie is enraged since she grew up on a rock farm and attacks. The three transform and triple team him. They seem to kill him, but then the villains turn Starfish Hitler into a giant. With five minutes left, they can't waste any more time, so they go around the monster and jump through the portal behind him, leaving him to the Sentai and Rider teams.
Three minutes later, the three return to the Hall of Media depressed. They went through Gojira, The Return of Godzilla, and Godzilla Resurgence and are appalled by all the death, destruction, and overall hopelessness. They don't think they can link their worlds together; My Little Pony and Godzilla are just too different. Sonata proposes that they spend their remaining minutes on another game, but Pinkie studies the two doors and notices a note. It reads,

It's then she sees that the Godzilla door has glowing buttons corresponding to all the core canons, but the "Heisei" and "Showa" buttons have both gone out while only the grimmer incarnations like "Shin" are glowing. Remembering the note, Pinkie nudges the "Showa" button and it seems to reorganize the the Godzilla doorway. The portal in the door's image changes away from the 2016 Godzilla and into an image of a baby Godzilla Junior playing with Asuza Gojo. Then a montage of goofy scenes like the infamous sliding dropkick, Minya playing jump rope with Godzilla's tail, Godzilla flying with his Atomic Breath, and many more flash over it as the elements beside the door are reworked. Pinkie now knows the common tread between the two franchises, they both inspired lots of children's childhoods by being silly at first and then becoming more serious as time went on. Discord appears and congratulates them, then points out there's thirty seconds left. The trio manage to link the doors together by taking a sign marked "Childhood" from the My Little Pony door and passing it to the Godzilla door and vice versa. Time's up and everything fades away. The three smile and salute, confident that they will meet again and become friends all over again.
In the real world, an aspiring writer known on the Internet as Tarbtano wakes up in the middle of the night after he fell asleep at his computer. After he had finished his lab report, he started brainstorming ideas for a crossover story. They include Power Rangers/W.I.T.C.H., Digimon/Pokémon, Star Wars/Star Trek, a mashup of Hasbro properties, and DC Comics/Marvel Comics. He gets up to stretch and finds his collection of VHS tapes of old Godzilla movies. He smiles and decides to watch Godzilla vs. Megalon for old times sake. While walking to the TV, he finds the collection of Friendship is Magic action figures his girlfriend Faith-Wolff had sent him as a gift. He looks between the tape and a Pinkie Pie figure and is struck by inspiration. He runs back to his computer and starts writing up an outline for a Godzilla/MLP crossover. He contacts Faith-Wolff on a chatbox and says he has a few ideas to bounce between her and their friend Skylark. His first big fanfic, The Bridge.
