    The Imprisonment Arc
  • When Tommy visits the prison, Sam has him read a Terms and Conditions form out loud. When Tommy asks what voice he should use to read it, Sam tells him that his normal voice would be preferred. Tommy then proceeds to read it in the most hammy voice he can muster.
  • As intimidating as it is, there's something sort of darkly funny about how damn thorough Sam's efforts to fortify Pandora's Vault are, to the point that some of it seems over the top.
    • The final security measure on the way to the maximum security cell of Pandora's Vault is a lake's worth of lava, which takes quite a bit of time to retract. This means Sam and Tommy have to stand around waiting for the lava to drain for about twenty minutes. Tommy keeps trying to initiate small talk while they wait, and Sam is having none of it.
  • Tommy says he'll only forgive Dream if he writes 5 books for him. The books in question are called "A Guide on How To Get Girls", "Why", "Tommyinnit: The incredible man. Why he is so great", "why badboyhalo sucks", and "My name is Dream and I think my viewers (especially the younger ones) should drop out of school and try drugs. Here is why:".
  • Tubbo and Jack Manifold's confusion upon finding out that Ranboo can pick up items like leaves with his bare hands, without a Silk Touch tool. Ranboo innocently says that it's because of his Enderman half, while Tubbo stammers that it shouldn't be possible in Minecraft.
    Ranboo: It should be obvious!
Tubbo: Bu-bu-y.. BUT MINECRAFT! AND MINECRAFT LIMITATIONS!
    • Ranboo has a similar interaction with Phil.
      Ph1LzA: how
      Ranboo: enderman
      Ph1LzA: thats not a reason
      Ph1LzA: thats rp
      Ph1LzA: how
      Ranboo: enderman
      Ranboo: :)
      Ph1LzA: bruh
    • Happens again with awesamdude who spots a wandering Ranboo at some point and asks him to show him.
      awesamdude: o3uayglfishea
      awesamdude: DO THAT AGAIN
(Ranboo breaks another grass block and places it)
(Beat as Ranboo picks up another grass block and they stare at each other)
      awesamdude: That is not possible.
(Ranboo rapidly crouches up and down without saying anything before flying away with his trident)
    • It occurs once more when Techno and Ranboo go on an adventure, whereupon Ranboo shows his ability. Techno immediately concludes that he and Phil were most likely to be either side characters or mentors, while Ranboo was the protagonist. Much to Techno's horror, he realized that most mentors often died for the sake of the main character's journey. This does nothing to stop him from convincing Ranboo to put their adventure on hold and test out the limits of the ability, ending up with Ranboo picking up a monster spawner. They actually go on a journey just to find ingredients for a cake and the experiment does not disappoint, revealing that Ranboo can eat cake, then pick it back up to obtain another whole cake, which results in infinite cake!
      • Ranboo notes that he hadn't been able to pick up certain blocks before, which immediately prompts Techno's paranoia that, because Ranboo's abilities are growing, his spot as mentor is going to get far more precarious. The entire situation is played for laughs and neither die during the journey.
      • Ranboo tries to come up with an example of a mentor who didn't die. He cites "the rat from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", and later brings up Master Oogway and Shifu, the latter of whom he can't remember whether he died. Phil, meanwhile, tries to bring up Kakashi, but it's quickly pointed out that he was "only gravely injured". And later, Techno gives this amazing line in response to his voices:
Techno: Chat, I'm not going to be Uncle Iroh, okay? No one's going to be Uncle Iroh. I'm not cool enough. Let's set realistic expectations, chat.
  • While Jack, Ranboo and Tubbo are showing the new guy, Charlie, around Snowchester, Tubbo starts complaining that he's hungry. He proceeds to eat six breakfast bars, along with a bag of chips, before rushing out of the room to throw up.
Charlie: Hey everyone, having a good time, my first day on the Dream SMP, uh...
    Ranboo: Tubbo has died!
Charlie: Tubbo has breakfast bar poisoning.
    • Meanwhile, his character in game is starving to death.
Charlie: Can you craft a breakfast bar really quick, Tubbo?
  • Schlatt and Tommy's "canonical" fight. Basically, Schlatt crashes Connor's party, and when Tommy starts to question why he's there, he just starts punching.
  • Tommy wants to make a hotel to house people who are left homeless by conflict, but since he cannot build to save his life, he commissions Sam to make the building for him. Sam agrees, on the condition that Tommy help him gather building supplies, which prompts Tommy to compare him to Tom Nook. This spawns the "Sam Nook" bit, an extended bit where Sam plays Animalese (the sound of Animal Crossing-villagers talking) through his microphone, while Tommy tries to get any sort of sense out of him.
Tommy: Sam, Sam, Sam! Wh– What quest do I need to do now?
    Sam: (Animalese, giggling)
Tommy: (struggling to hold back laughter) You really need me to get that many red dye?
    Sam: (Animalese)
Tommy: Sam, that is a racist slur, you can't say that.
    Sam: (Animalese)
Tommy: Sam, that is incredibly offensive to say in front of 219,000 viewers!
    Sam: (Animalese)
Tommy: SAM, HOLY SHIT, I DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH THOSE TYPES OF PEOPLE! Take that back right now, take that back, you monster, you MONSTER, the fact that you would say that ab– Take that back right now, say– say "I apologize", say "I apologize". Say "I apologize!"
    Sam: (Animalese; bursts out laughing)
Tommy: (cracks up) Okay, okay, y'know what, fine, fine, fine, y'know what... I– Listen, if I've gotta work with you, I've gotta work with you.
    • At one point, Sam says that there's something above the location for the hotel and asks Tommy to remove it. Tommy asks him to clarify whether he means Skeppy's Skywars arena... at which point Sam starts repeating his dialogue from the beginning.
Tommy: Oh no, he's an NPC!
  • When Bad tries to infect Tommy with the Egg, he asks if Tommy can hear the Egg. Tommy says yes — only to immediately toy with Bad and Ant by making up what the "Egg" is telling him.
Tommy: The Egg is saying that all three of us should start swearing!
    Bad: Ummmm...
    Tommy: Pussy! Fuck!
  • Technoblade and Ranboo looted a Woodland Mansion on January 24th, 2021. When they started burning the structure down and were preparing to leave, Ranboo found a room with a chest. Ranboo started fighting the abnormally large amount of mobs in the room. Then, Techno rushes in and got to the chest while all the mobs were targeting Ranboo and started looting it. What was inside of the chest? An Enchanted Golden Apple. Ranboo promptly logs out in frustration.
    • It gets even funnier when you consider that Ranboo tried and failed to find an E-apple in a 5-hour stream a few days earlier.
  • Jack and Niki planned to kill Tommy by tricking him into entering the nuclear test site right when the nuclear test was happening. However, Tommy, being Tommy, refused to be wrangled by Niki and spent so long wandering off to chop down trees and ramble on about the Avengers that by the time they got to the test site, the bomb had already gone off. To reiterate, Jack and Niki tried to use a thermonuclear missile to kill a single teenager... and they MISSED!
    • Really, Niki's entire trip with Tommy is so awful that it's hilarious. Tommy takes his sweet time while Niki tries to subtly hint at him that he needs to hurry up, and desperately tries to keep the conversation going despite the... weird direction Tommy keeps taking it. By the end of the trip, her frustration is palpable.
    • Jack's attempts at stalling are pretty hilarious too.
      • He tries to get Tubbo to drink with him in celebration, which Tubbo refuses to do because they haven't even launched the missile yet. Jack, however, starts to panic and keeps pushing it, at which point Tubbo reminds him that he's still very much underage.
      • While carrying the nuke, Tubbo has to walk slowly and carefully around Snowchester, but when they reach the path to the launch pad, he decides he can afford to speed up a little. Jack hastily tells him to slow down, because there might be sharks.
Jack: I'm just warning you, Jaws might eat our nuke, and then we don't have a nuke, so we've got to be slow!
      • With one minute left until launch and Tommy still not in position, Jack decides to buy more time by flinging his key card into the bay.
    • As Tubbo and Jack inspect the damage, Tommy and Niki come running over the hill. Tubbo and Tommy immediately start excitedly climbing around in the crater, while Jack and Niki sneak off to their own VC to debate how the fuck their plan could have failed this hard.
Niki: Jack, I'm so sorry, I swear I tried, I swear I tried–
Jack: WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU TRIED?! IT– THIS IS LIKE, A MILE LONG, HOW COULD YOU NOT GET HIM AT LEAST CLOSE ENOUGH TO FUCKING EXPLODE?!
Niki: It– We were SO CLOSE, he was just– he just kept TALKING, Jack! He kept talking and talking and then he just WANDERED OFF, and he... Oh my god, he was so annoying...
    • Tubbo tells Tommy that if he'd shown up any earlier, he'd have been blown up. Tommy starts to connect the dots... then immediately decides to abandon that train of thought in favor of persuading Tubbo to give him a nuke.
    • This exchange in the chat.
Tubbo: [PSA] 10 MINS UNTILL MISSLE TEST
      Ranboo: cool
Ranboo: im just chilling in the snow biome so i should be okay!
Tubbo: PLEASE STAND CLEAR OF SNOW BIOMES
      Ranboo: uh oh
    • Tubbo warns Tommy about the harmful effects of hanging around a nuclear crater unprotected. Naturally, he is ignored. Later, Tommy worries about radiation poisoning, only for Tubbo to tell him he should have worn the hazmat suit.
Tommy: How do I know there's not radiation? How do I know I'm not going to contract bad things?
Tubbo: I mean, you probably will.
Tommy: Oh. (Beat) You probably should have told me that before I took off all my clothes.
      Tubbo: I literally did.
      • Later, Tommy jokingly pretends to cough up blood to simulate radiation poisoning, to which Tubbo responds that he's going to be dead in hours. Niki responds with a very hopeful sounding "Really?"
    • During the celebration of the successful test, Tommy and Tubbo take turns putting their crotch in a stonecutter, nonchalantly remarking that the radiation has made them numb from the legs down.
  • Tommy tries to greet Puffy in chat… but accidentally types "pussy". He rapidly corrects himself and apologizes, but Puffy is still badly flustered.
Puffy: (laughter) TOMMY, you're killing it! You're killing it! The mood! I'm sad, and now I'm also getting insulted!
  • Both Tommy and Philza, on completely separate occasions and completely independent of each other, make the claim that the Egg is incredibly offensive.
Tommy: Egg, EGG! What did I say about slurs, Egg?!
Philza: The Egg is saying all kinds of controversial things. Like "I am friends with the creator".
  • The fact that most of the people Tommy invites to the Big Innit Hotel opening are not only not his friends, but have actually tried to kill him several times, including Niki and Jack, most of the Eggpire, Technoblade, and even Dream, who is literally in prison and couldn't come if he wanted. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
  • How does Techno choose to tell Puffy that he's willing to meet with her? By delivering a letter... and building the word ANARCHY in giant flaming letters right next to it.
    • In the letter, Techno tells Puffy to leave him a note if she's interested in working with him. Puffy, not wanting to leave a book lest the Eggpire finds out she's working with Techno, puts down a noteblock with a sign saying "A note".
      • When Techno and Ranboo do find the note, they listen to it... which results in this.
Techno: Are you ready to hear this?
        Ranboo: I'm ready.
        (noteblock plays ordinary sound)
        Techno: This changes everything.
    • Puffy actually did write a note prior to coming up with the noteblock idea, and after she realizes it can be traced back to her, she decides to destroy it... but she doesn't have a flint and steel in her inventory. Her solution? Get Ranboo, the only other person nearby, to eat it.
      • Their conflicting points of view since they were both streaming at the time only make this interaction funnier; Puffy is desperately shouting at Ranboo to just eat the book and is pretty scared of Ranboo himself, while Ranboo is absolutely terrified of getting involved with some new conflict and just wants her to go away.
  • Quackity's (ambiguously canon at best) stream of him trying to host a couple's therapy session with Karl, Sapnap, Bad and Skeppy is rife with funny moments.
    • The fact that Quackity is treating the whole thing like a divorce court, as he decides whether or not the relationship in question should break up or continue their relationship.
    • While Bad and Skeppy sounded like they had some genuine relationship issues, a chunk of Karl and Sapnap's session consisted of them trying to accuse the other of being a Chad.
    • At one point, when Bad was ranting about Skeppy, very conspicuous making out noises could be heard from the background. When Quackity tries to be a Moment Killer towards his fiances for interrupting the session with Bad and Skeppy, the three of them end up kissing for a bit before Quackity gets back to business.
      • In fact, the two were caught making out in the background more than once. With Skeppy setting fire to the studio at the same time.
    • Every time anyone on the stream sings or parodies Dream's song "Roadtrip".
  • BadBoyHalo tries to convince Technoblade to go on a "roadtrip" to see the Egg. Before leaving, Techno makes sure to bring his "emotional support bear Steve" (his pet polar bear), much to Bad's annoyance.
    • During the journey, Steve shows a shocking inability to jump, leading to several instances where Techno spends multiple minutes coaxing him over a ledge.
    • On the return trip, Techno decides to bring Steve through the Nethernote . Steve pretty much immediately drops off the side of a bridge and onto a small bed of stone, causing Techno to freak out as Ranboo rushes home to brew healing potions. While they manage to save Steve in the end, he spends the rest of the Nether trip scaring them half to death as he hangs on the side of every single bridge and gets shot at by ghasts.
  • Ranboo's hilariously bad attempt to spy on Bad. First, he tries to hide behind Steve, then, when Bad leaves the house, he peeks around the corner with half his body clearly exposed.
    • Made even funnier by the fact that Techno knows Ranboo is following them and has to trick Bad into ignoring him.
BadBoyHalo: I literally just saw something. It was over there and then it went poof and now it's not.
Technoblade: Eh, probably just an enderman, they do that.
  • According to Bad, the Egg is an influencer, not only that it influences minds, but that it is literally an internet influencer. With a TikTok account.
    • As Bad tries to convince Techno, Ranboo, and Puffy that the Egg is good for them, Ranboo and Techno proceed to nod at each other suspiciously the entire time. The thing is, Techno has no idea why Ranboo is nodding. Bad is understandably paranoid when he notices.
    • Puffy then tells Bad that the Egg is rated one star. On Yelp. Bad quickly denies it.
    • This culminates with Bad asking Techno to step out for a moment, before charging at Puffy and Ranboo yelling, "And, die!" Techno, who is literally right outside, rushes in and begins beating him up.
  • When deciding who he wants to hire to work in his hotel, Tommy checks the tab-list to see his options. Online at the time were Ranboo, who Tommy doesn't know too well but is generally on good terms with due to the letters he wrote Tommy in exile, and Jack Manifold, who has literally tried to kill him with a nuclear bomb. Naturally, he picks Jack.
  • Right before his visit to Dream, Tommy decides to describe his relationship with Dream using only poop metaphors.
Tommy: Need to wipe me 'ands. Like I've just had a good shit, alright? Except Dream, he's a bad shit, he's a– you can't– you simply can't pinch him off. But today... will be the last wipe. Today I will stand... to wipe my bum– (corpses)
  • Jack Manifold finding out about Tommy being locked in prison. After asking around to the people online at the time, he then logs onto Twitter, effectively making Twitter canon, and sees Tommy's tweet about it. He then proceeds to claim himself the winner of a one-sided battle by doing absolutely nothing.
    • After celebrating for a bit, he decides to claim himself the owner of the Big Innit Hotel, rebranding it as the Big Jack Manifold Hotel, making a business partnership with Quackity and charging people just for being on the property. Keep in mind, Tommy would only be gone for a week, at most.
  • Eret deciding to charge Jack Manifold back taxes out of spite because he tried charging them for just entering the Big Innit Hotel is pretty funny. Funnier is them deciding to tax Dream, who couldn't even pay if he wanted to. Eret just leaves the paperwork outside of the prison entrance for Awesamdude to deliver.
  • Tubbo's response to the news that Tommy is locked up with Dream is to put a sandstone penis on top of the prison. Sam comes to remove it and scold him, only to realize that, due to the mining fatigue, it takes him a good ten seconds to break a single block of sandstone. Tubbo then starts replacing every block Sam manages to break, while laughing like a maniac.
  • Phil revealed that his character is hundreds, possibly thousands of years old in a conversation with Sam, where he told him that centuries are mere child's play for him, and that seeing everyone he loved die around him was painful, but not as painful as what Phil then inflicted on their enemies. That's not funny. What is funny, is the fact that Phil's chat absolutely refuses to take him seriously, and proceed to bully him over text-to-speech.
sarcastic_icarus: Sure grandpa, go back to sleep.
pollitoesbonito: You could really stab a son with all that edge.
  • Tommy's prison stream, a stream many expected to open with horrific amounts of angst, opened with Tommy making annoying noises with his mouth and singing "Roadtrip" at the top of his lungs, horribly off-key. According to Dream, he'd been doing that all week.

    The Mourning Arc
  • On one of Eret's streams, she and Foolish check their statistics. Eret, who has been on the SMP since July, has spent a total of 19 days of playtime on it. That would be crazy enough — except Foolish, who joined in January, has already logged 17 days of playtime.
    Foolish: Egypt's not building itself!
  • When Phil and Ranboo interrogate Fundy on why he was trespassing on AAC property, with Phil mentioning how lucky Fundy is that Phil hasn't killed him on sight, they are interrupted by Tubbo, who charges over the horizon and promptly murders Fundy.
    Tubbo: WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
  • This conversation between Tubbo and Ranboo.
    Tubbo: Hey Sexy
    Ranboo: ;)
Tubbo: Wanna go watch the office ;)
Ranboo: I am literally streaming right now but after sure ;)
    Tubbo: (repeatedly) AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Ranboo: please tell me you didnt forget that I was streaming
Tubbo: I CALLED YOU SEXY INFOUNT OF 80K PEAIOPLE
    Ranboo: Yep
    Tubbo: I regret noting
    Ranboo: I know

    Post-Lockdown Era
  • While Tommy's release from prison stream was extremely emotional, it did have funny moments.
    • Tommy tries to start his stream off the way he normally does, by playing the Able Sisters' Theme before logging on and seeing Dream standing right behind him.
Tommy: WELCOME BACK TO THE STREAM! (Able Sisters' theme starts as Tommy logs in) AND HERE WE– (turns around to see Dream; Able Sisters' theme stops) Fuck.
    • The first thing Tommy sees upon leaving the prison is the absolutely enormous penis built on top of Bad and Skeppy's house.
      • It turns out you can see the penis from the lobby of the Big Innit Hotel, where Tommy had his confrontation with Jack.
Tommy: Why is there a huge penis behind you?
Jack: I don't know what– (stammers) Hey, bigger elephant in the room: WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?!
    • Jack, in the middle of screaming at Tommy, accidentally gets stuck in crawl-mode, causing Tommy to burst out laughing at the image of this extremely angry man yelling at him while laying flat on his stomach, crawling across the floor.
    • Everyone's initial reactions to Tommy's return were highly emotional... except Connor's, who screams because he thinks he's seeing a ghost, then dejectedly asks if he has to move back into Ninja's house.
    • Tubbo spends Tommy's entire stream following him around like a lost puppy, except when Tommy starts talking to Ranboo, at which point he takes a break from staring at Tommy to stare at Ranboo's ass.
  • In Quackity's stream on March 16th, Schlatt's note inviting him to his cave gym includes several suggestive comments directed at Quackity, to his visible displeasure.
Quackity: (reading the note) Hope this note finds you well, after all, you–
(The next page of the note reads, "You had the fattest ass in my cabinet")
Quackity: (presses his head into his microphone)
  • Philza meets Foolish for the first time when Foolish gives him a tour of the mansion Tubbo and Ranboo paid him to build for Michael. Phil's over-the-top acting of seeing the mansion for the first time in canon is second only to Tubbo's own overdramatic acting.
    • When Phil sees that they want Foolish to build a War Room, he notes with some alarm that they're literally going to be raising Technoblade 2.
  • Quackity's confrontation with Bad and Punz during his April 12th lore stream is very serious, with Quackity filling the Egg Chamber and the corridors around it with three stacks of TNT in an attempt to destroy the Egg and return Bad to normal, and Bad and Punz trying to stop him from detonating it. Or at least, it would have been more serious if it weren't for the fact that Bad's dog Lucy, also known as Rat — or Bad's "ugly little beast" (according to Quackity during the stream) —was barking in the background for a good chunk of the conversation.
  • During their trip back from Fundy's creeper farm, Tubbo has a bit of a brain fart and asks if pigs are a type of bug. From then on, Tommy continually refers to hoglins as "big bugs".
  • When Ranboo walks up to the group, Tommy calls him "fucking uckers" in chat. This conversation ensues.
Tubbo: Yo! That's my favorite uckers boy!
    Tommy: (whimpering) Aw, what?
Tubbo: That's my second favorite uckers boy!
    Ghostbur: Am I your favorite?!
Tubbo: ...That's my third favorite uckers boy!
  • After Tommy makes a dramatic exit, Tubbo and Ranboo are just kind of left standing on his front lawn.
    Tubbo: That was interesting.
Ranboo: Yeah. So you guys were doing what to the prison now?
Tubbo: Eh, something involving TNT. You wanna build a penis on the roof of the prison?
    Ranboo: Yeah, sure, let's go.
    • After both of them have built a penis on the roof of the prison, Tubbo innocently points out that Ranboo's is shorter than his... before realizing what he just said and quickly walking away.
  • Many online theories about the Enderwalk have worried that Ranboo will in some way hurt Michael, despite Ranboo making it exceedingly clear, both in and out of character, that he won't hurt Michael. He pokes fun at this by opening his first Enderwalk Saga stream by slowly walking towards Michael while holding an axe... before tossing him a golden apple and cooing all over him.
  • The Red Banquet is filled with dramatic moments and is overall a huge Wham Episode, but several funny moments manage to sneak through.
    • Techno's epic speech about why he's teamed up with Quackity is interrupted when he has to remove a magma block that one of the dogs he brought is continuously standing on.
    • After chasing the members of the Eggpire away, Sam claims that he would build a prison for the Egg if he had to.
    • The fact that while everything is going down with the Red Banquet, Tommy and Tubbo were roasting marshmallows without a care in the world. Better yet, Ranboo canonizes this.note

    The Banquet Aftermath Arc
  • When Tommy tries to meet up with Ranboo and Tubbo, he spots Tubbo repeatedly bumping into Ranboo, which Tommy interprets as them kissing. He reacts with absolute disgust, and even starts placing TNT in an attempt to try and rid himself of the mental image.
  • During Tommy's very serious lore stream, he kept being interrupted by technical difficulties. His camera died at some of the most emotionally charged moments, multiple times in a row, and his final speech to Tubbo was interrupted by his mother knocking on the door to tell him she was going to bed.
  • In a genuinely heartwarming display of affection, Tommy hugs Ranboo and thanks him for his help. However, due to the physical limitations of Minecraft, what this actually looks like is Tommy pushing up against Ranboo and typing "./hug" in the chat.
  • Before going into the prison, Tommy, Ghostbur and Tubbo get into an argument about how many stomachs sheep have.
Ghostbur: Friend, how many stomachs do you have? Whisper it in my ear.
    Tubbo: Isn't it like... two?
Tommy: How could he have two stomachs, that's–
Ghostbur: (giggling) I don't speak sheep!
  • While Wilbur's return was an emotional rollercoaster, there's something darkly funny about Ranboo realizing he needs to break the news to Phil, and rehearsing his lines beforehand.
Ranboo: Hey, you know your, um... son, that you stabbed a while back, yeah, he's alive again! Remember that whole talk we had about closure, well... There you go!
    • Before breaking the news to Phil, Ranboo puts down a chair and tells Phil to sit down. It's a kind gesture, one that Phil sadly grossly misinterprets.
Phil: I know I'm old, but I'm not that old!
  • Jack once again attempts to kill Tommy by baiting him in with the promise of Wither Skulls, placing down a sign to tell him exactly where to stand, then dropping an anvil on his head. Except, because of the way Minecraft physics work, the sign Jack placed breaks the anvil, leaving Tommy completely unhurt.
Tommy: ...Jack, I think you just dropped your anvil instead of the skulls; could you drop me the skulls now, please?
  • During the "Tommy & Ranboo Revamp Church" stream, Tommy jokingly tells Tubbo that he's being cancelled and deplatformed for being too problematic, and Tubbo starts crying... with the Funny Mic enabled. Tommy starts crying just from seeing Tubbo cry, and while Ranboo tries to rein in the other two, he ends up crying as well. Words don't really do the moment justice.
  • After weeks of absence, George started a lore stream. He refused to say what he was going to do, but after meeting with Tommy and following him to Snowchester, Tommy told Tubbo (in chat, since Tommy wasn't talking in Discord) that they were going to need Dream's armor, and the nukes. George follows them into Snowchester's vault where he dons Dream's armor, puts on full screen, and dramatically tells the chat that today, he's going to kill Dream... and then Tommy rips down the green screen behind him.
Tommy: Wait, Geo– Are you doing lore again, George?! What did I say about doing lore?!
George: Nono, I'm not doing lore, I'm NOT DOING LORE!
Niki: (enters the room behind Tommy) GEORGE, ARE YOU DOING LORE AGAIN?!
Tubbo: (bursts into the room behind Niki) GEORGE, ARE YOU DOING LORE, GEORGE?!
George: I'M NOT, I'M NOT, I'M NOT DOING LORE!
Jack Manifold: (enters the room as everyone shouts over each other) GOGY?!
  • Ranboo's May 21st stream is a relatively normal resource-gathering stream, up until he accidentally finds a Stronghold. For the second time. The first being a partially exposed one in an ocean that became the Syndicate's base. Main character energy, indeed.
    • And of course he stopped mid-stream to make a post on Twitter lampshading the situation.
    • Made even funnier by the fact that he decides to use this for lore and goes into character... but his character doesn't know what an End Portal is. So he refers to it as a "weird table"note , since that's what the one in the Syndicate's base was turned into.
    • Then his chatnote  begins trying to get him to lick the End Portal frame, which turns into an argument that continues throughout the rest of the stream. All while still calling it a table.
Ranboo: (exasperated) I'm not gonna lick the table!
      • In an attempt to convince him, a donation brings up the fact that he'd licked a piece of Ancient Debris during a different stream.
Ranboo: That was just to test the quality of it!
      • He eventually relents to the chat's demands while heading back to his base just to get them to shut up, though he ultimately doesn't go through with it when he does return.
Ranboo: Oh my gosh. Fine, fine. I'll lick the table next time. Jesus.
  • While Quackity's May 22nd stream was mostly horrific, Charlie's introduction into the lore was hysterical.
    • It opens with an informational video about slimes that's as ridiculous as it sounds.
      • When indicating that slimes spawn underground, the camera starts above ground, then pans down... which wouldn't be funny, if the thing it focused on above the surface wasn't a stone cross with a sign saying "rest in piece Tommyinnit LOL".
      • As the narrator talks about slimes mating and having children, the camera focuses on a villager house, with two slimes visible from the window. A blur effect is then applied to the window, followed by stock screaming/moaning sound effects. It's made funnier by it being (most likely) scientifically inaccurate, since in Minecraft, slimes split into two smaller slimes when 'killed' by a player, i.e. they conduct asexual reproduction through some form of mitotic cell division, not sexual.
        Narrator: Gross.
      • When talking about slimes' ability to shapeshift, the camera slowly zooms in on a slime block... that then suddenly turns into a picture of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
    • Quackity tries to sneak into Sam's restaurant by using an Elytra to fly down to the roof and break in through the ceiling. Except he fails to stick the landing and smacks face-first into the roof as the music cuts out.
      Quackity: ...fuck.
    • Quackity then breaks into the restaurant while cool spy music plays, digging up the floor to place TNT... only for the music to cut out again as Quackity realizes he can't hide the redstone properly and starts to panic.
      • The reveal that Quackity had the whole dramatic sequence in the first place (with music, Elytra, and ninja-esque outfit) just to break into the restaurant that he technically owns to kill the villager that wandered in and started making food.
      • He spots a piece of slime inside the wall, and immediately becomes disgusted with the sanitary conditions of the place. He quickly runs outside to grab something, then runs back and breaks open the wall... only for Charlie to poke his head out.
        Charlie: HELLO, FELLOW MEAT BROTHER!
    • Charlie's repeated insistence that he's definitely not a slime.
Charlie: I'm just a completely goopless guy, just– just checkin' stuff out!
Quackity: NO, YOU'RE NOT! You're– you're a goddamn human being!
Charlie: I'm literally– I'm bones! I'm bones and stuff!
Quackity: Oh god, oh no, we have crazy people, we have crazy people around the casino...
Charlie: I'm so much– I'm so many bones! I have like three hundred bones in me, like everyone else! Dap me up!
    • After realizing that Charlie doesn't know what snow is, Quackity convinces him it's called coke.

    Las Nevadas Era
  • During Charlie's first lore stream, Quackity shows him around Las Nevadas and teaches him about gambling. Of course, since Charlie is a slime with barely any knowledge about how human society functions, this goes as hilariously as one might expect.
    • Quackity spends a while teaching Charlie about the basics of gambling and introduces him to the slot machine. In just minutes, Charlie becomes addicted to using the machine, all the while Quackity is screaming for him to stop using it like an exasperated babysitter.
    • After leaving the casino, Charlie complains about "the goop in [his] core hurt[ing]" and needing to "refuel", i.e. him being hungry. Once Quackity passes him some food and teaches him where his mouth is, Charlie responds by kissing him. While Quackity complains about how one shouldn't be kissing strangers on the mouth, Charlie waxes poetry about "resaturating" and "revitalizing".
    • Later on, while Quackity shows Charlie a place that could be used to repurpose into a home for him, Charlie starts standing recklessly close to the edge of the balcony. Quackity manages to stop him from jumping off from there... by giving him more diamonds to gamble with.
    • Since Charlie doesn't know how to close his eyes and sleep because "everything is a membrane", Quackity shows him how he sleeps... by removing his face entirely. He then claims that's him putting a pillow over his head. Though Quackity advises him to make sure he can breathe while doing so, the implications of the position of sleeping actually makes the conversation drift suspiciously closer to Tear Jerker territory.
  • Dream finally gets someone to try and bust him out... Unfortunately for him, it's Michael Mcchill, who not only fails to bust Dream out by taking the long way around (i.e. mining into the prison while he's affected by Miner Fatigue) but also got caught by Sam, who only spares him as a warning.
  • Even while Wilbur and Quackity were arguing like a pair of divorced dads, which is funny in itself, the only thing that seems to unite them is not allowing Tommy to enter the strip club or use the slot machine in Las Nevadas, to which they reacted by frantically blocking the doorway or corridor off to prevent access.
    • Earlier in the same livestream, Quackity denies Wilbur citizenship in Las Nevadas for being too unpredictable. Wilbur's response was to start making his own country outside Las Nevadas, while gushing to Tommy like a lovestruck teenager. Needless to say, the scene has caused witnesses, both in- and out-of-universe, to doubt his heterosexuality.
Wilbur: (in private) Tommy, he challenged me! Did you see him? Did you see the look on his eyes? God, it was cool! It was cool! (beat) I was about to say it was hot, but that would be wrong. Look, Tommy, it was–
Tommy: Have you– listen, before we keep going, you don't have a crush on Big Q, do you? 'Cause I think he was like–
Wilbur: I have a complicated relationship with Big Q that I don't think is at that level yet.
    • At several points in the entire livestream, Tommy secretly types "deffo flerting" in the in-game chat, lampshading the sheer amount of Belligerent Sexual Tension between his two older brother figures.
  • While mostly serious, Technoblade's June 6th lore stream where he visits Dream in prison has a handful of funny moments. These include:
    • The fact that the note that Technoblade gives to Sam from Quackitynote  is named "FIELD TRIP SLIP".
    • Techno's answers to the typical questions Sam asks visitors.
Awsamdude: And do you recognize that I, Awsamdude, am the ultimate authority on the grounds of the prison, and anything I say goes?
Technoblade: Oh, I love authority. Everyone can tell you that. I absolutely acknowledge it.
    • Techno asking Sam to close and open a cool redstone door because he missed it opening the first time.
    • When signing his name on the prison liability wavers, Techno signs them with some form of the phrase "Subscribe to Technoblade".
    • Technoblade's absolute indifference at being trapped in Pandora's Vault, while Dream freaks outnote  over the one person who might help him escape being trapped. And of course, the almost immediate flood of fanart playing on the situation.
Technoblade: So... how's it goin', roommate?
      Dream: (doesn't respond)
Technoblade: (laughs) You are just not into this. Well, that's what six months of jail would do to anyone.
Dream: You're acting like you're on vacation or something.
Technoblade: I mean, it's kinda like this is a new experience for me! I'm sure it'll get old.
  • During Bad, Puffy, and Michael's trip to Las Nevadas (Skeppy was also there, but he left after Quackity killed him non-canonically for stealing build materials), Quackity brought them into the strip club... and undressed. Horrified, Bad made a run for the door, trying to get past the sand blocks used to seal the doorway off, only for Quackity to replace them as they were broken.
    • After dancing for them, Quackity invites Michael to the backroom, with pretty NSFW stuff implied. Things take a turn for the worse however when Quackity pulls out a sword and tells Michael to hand over his stuff, diamonds included. Michael then manages to escape because apparently, Quackity forgot to remove the pressure plates next to the iron doors. He tries the same on Bad, forgetting to remove the pressure plates again, and Bad makes a beeline for the exit. Quackity finally realizes his blunder and removes the pressure plates. He then lures Puffy to the backroom and is successful, except for the fact that she has no diamonds and she gives ink sacs, shears (with some unfortunate implications), wooden slabs, ender pearls (which she calls balls) and a single spruce plank. Quackity is visibly disappointed and tells her to go.
  • Upon signing the Las Nevadas contract with his full name, the fact that one of Fundy's middle names is revealed to be "Sus".
  • The first part of Ranboo's June 18th lore stream has him meeting Slimecicle (in-character) for the first time. The resulting interaction is both absolutely hilarious and surprisingly wholesome.
    • When they first meet, Slimecicle attempts to dig a holenote  but falls right through the ground, as he'd been standing on a one-block-thick sheet of dirt covering up a river.
    • Ranboo almost immediately figures out that something is weird, and asks Slimecicle if he's a human. Slimecicle's response is to ask Ranboo what it means to be human... but neither of them have an answer to that question, as neither of them are humans. Their mutual ignorance of how humans work leads to some interesting conversation.
      • Like this bit from when Slimecicle's explaining where he's from.
Slimecicle: Oh, I'm with Quackity from Las Nevadas, but now I'm with TommyInnit from nowhere because he stole 33% of my controlling goop — meat — and so he put me in jail!
        Ranboo: Controlling — Controlling meat?
Slimecicle: Yup! I'm just one big glob of a person.
Ranboo: Do humans have controlling meat?
        (Beat)
Slimecicle: Do humans have controlling meat?
      • After learning Ranboo isn't human, Slimecicle assumes this means that Ranboo must also be a slime and starts calling him "brother". Slimecicle also claims that genetics are a lie after Ranboo tries to reason that they couldn't possibly be genetically related, which just confuses Ranboo further.
    • After spending a good half an hour or so teaching him about how friendship actually works, Ranboo encourages Slimecicle to think for himself and make his own decisions. Slimecicle decides to meditate on this by digging himself a hole, covering the top, and whisper-monologuing about the nature of existence for awhile. All while Ranboo can still hear him. Words really can't do it justice.
    • Later on in the stream after Slimecicle has left, Ranboo decides to write notes about the members of Las Nevadas. All of them are funny, but the one he writes about Slimeciclenote  is especially so.
Ranboo: Goop guy: Might have free will? Not too sure.
    • During a serious discussion between Quackity, Foolish, and Ranboo in the latter part of the stream, "Skeppy was pricked to death" appears in the in-game chat. The fact that it's so completely out of nowhere combined with it meaning that Skeppy was somehow killed by a cactus leads the three of them to momentarily break character and laugh about how silly it was.
  • While searching for Slime after Tommy's visit as "Trousers", Foolish offhandedly tried to teach Slime what happened "when two pants love each other". He was quickly shut down by Purpled with "Don't teach him that!" When Slime continues to ask about the subject after that... everyone else's reactions are about as awkward as you'd expect; and when Slime reveals that he knows what sex means... things get even more awkward... and funny to watch. The entire scene must be seen to be believed.
    • A little later on, Foolish, Purpled, Fundy, and Slimecicle argue over the difference between mitosis and photosynthesis.note
  • Back in the prison, Techno and Dream accidentally summon DreamXD while trapped in prison, and DreamXD agrees to grant them one wish. While Dream is still parsing the fact that he can finally get out of prison by wishing for an exit, Techno uses up the wish by wishing for a bell.
    • This is Dream's first ever meeting with DreamXD and he's introduced to him via Technoblade bringing up how he destroyed his "table" and then fixed it, then casually saying that "he's like a god or something".
    • Later, Techno finally tells Dream what they have to do in order to escape... by breaking through the toilet The Shawshank Redemption style. However, as Dream points out, with the mining fatigue and the obsidian, it will take days to break out. The fact that Techno, even knowing this, insists this is the best way (since Sam and Quackity won't even notice the attempt made) and even says they can take on an Elder Guardian if it ever comes down to it.
    • Just the sheer irony that Dream's aces in the hole, Technoblade and Michael, have either failed in breaking him out or have screwed up any means to escape. Even when Technoblade does bring up how Dream could get out, he ends up being the one who does all the hard work while Technoblade chills out.
  • During Wilbur's stream on July 25th, he talks with Phil about Quackity, and their discussion on what to do has a number of humorous moments.
    • Wilbur points out that Quackity's source of his wealth is Las Nevadas, a massive casino city, and that a decent number of server members are minors. Phil, while agreeing, sounds like he's talking in Sarcasm Mode, and Wil lampshades that it doesn't sound like he actually cares.
    • Wilbur's solution to counter Quackity's capitalistic consumerist corruption? Make a burger van. Phil, predictably, immediately goes to leave.
    • When Phil leaves the house, the pressure plate opens a trapdoor, which causes an enderman that was stuck under it to immediately begin rising up to the top of the house, causing the two of them to begin corpsing at the ridiculous situation.
    • Wilbur claims to actually want to sell burgers in his burger van, and says he won't sell drugs out of it (though it is believable given that he's doing so to counteract Quackity).
      • When he asks Phil to help him, Phil instead says to ask Ranboo for help. When Wil asks what qualifications he has, Phil mentions that Ranboo's one of, if not the, richest people on the server, which Wil lampshades as that doesn't mean he'd be good at burger production.
      • Eventually, Phil goes into dad mode, and makes Wilbur agree to at least try working with Ranboo, with Wilbur acting as if he's a kid being forced to play with the neighbor's weird kid.
      • For an added bit of Dramatic Irony and Dark Humor, when he complains about having to work with Ranboo, he talks about how the half-enderman seems to type to have something dark hidden and might turn dangerous if given the opportunity. When he likely means that Ranboo could be a Bitch in Sheep's Clothing, he's spot on about Ranboo's Enderwalk state.
  • While Quackity is assuring Tubbo of his strong leadership qualities, one of the salmon in the fish tank flops out onto the floor and dies. Tubbo starts corpsing before catching himself, and Quackity stops mid-speech to stare at the dead fish on the ground for a solid ten seconds. He then picks it up, eats it, then turns back around and starts talking again like nothing happened.
    • Later, Quackity says he has to leave to work on the logistics of the burger place... and because the raw fish he just ate is not agreeing with his stomach.
  • When we chime back in with Techno and Dream, they inexplicably have a dog chilling on top of a chest. Techno doesn't even know how it got there and immediately concocts a "brilliant" plan to raise another dog army. His plan? Asking Sam for large quantities of rotten flesh, even though there isn't a second dog to breed the original dog with to raise the army in the first place.
  • In the same lore stream (from Quackity's perspective), when Quackity and Sam arrive at the maximum security cell, the first thing they hear is Techno ringing his bell so loudly they could hear it through the lava curtain.
  • After three months of being locked up in Pandora's Vault, right before Quackity tries to kill him with a pickaxe, Phil finally teleports Techno out of prison using one of the ender pearl stasis chambers. Techno immediately lays into him for taking so long.
    Techno: I ALMOST DIED!
    Phil: YOU SAID THREE MONTHS!
Techno: I DID NOT SAY THREE MONTHS!
Phil: Wait, wait, wait... Oh my god, you said three days...
    Techno: Bruuuuh... Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.
    • Upon arriving at The Syndicate's base, Techno and Phil see a random Enderman inside the house where Steve is staying, with Techno reminiscing about Edward...and by reminiscing we mean forgetting his name at first, then complaining about Edward not paying his rent. Techno then comes to the conclusion that the Enderman is Edward's reincarnation after he briefly hugs Phil and gets back in his old boat.

    Breakout Era
  • A few days after the prison stream, Phil finally opens Techno's will on stream. It's mostly a Tear Jerker... except for the fourth page, where Techno instructs Phil to tell everyone else that, having abolished the governments of men, he'll be going to heaven to take down the Kingdom of God. Yep, not even God himself is safe from the anarchist known as Technoblade. And the remaining eight pages are filled with nothing but the letter "e", being written only once per page.
  • In one livestream, Tommy finds a cow while collecting wood from a forest patch near the prison, calls Eryn over to look at it, and coos over it. Being Eryn, guess what happens next?
Eryn: Well, that's food. (kills the cow)
    Tommy: (gasps)
Eryn: (eats the beef the cow dropped)
    Tommy: (wails) WHAT THE FUCK?!
  • The day Tina joined the server, Sapnap, Karl and Callahan took her to visit the Community House, "where it all began". There, Sapnap and Karl... ahem, re-enacted the Crafting Table meme. Complete with Tina awkwardly looking away. Just watch. Then Callahan also did so with Karl. Uh...
  • In late October 2021, it became somewhat of a trend for various people on the SMP to go find and "kill" Michael_Beloved.note  That isn't funny. What is funny, however, is whenever Michael Mcchill finds out about this without context and becomes utterly confused to what's going on.
FoolishG: !c Foolish neg KILLED MICHAEL THAT FUCKER
    Michaelmcchill: ??????
    Michaelmcchill: oh the zombie
  • In the week leading up to Quackity's fourth "Las Nevadas" stream, he makes a brief appearance on one of Foolish's livestreams... where after so many months, his flirtatious instincts start acting up again.
Quackity: are you live? there kinda an issue i need to talk to you about
    FoolishG: Yeah I'm live!
Quackity: why arent you building a statue of your incredible massive muscles Context
    Quackity: oh shit
Quackity: delete the chat dont show that
    [...]
Quackity: how are u my friend
    FoolishG: I'm
FoolishG: not very brain cells left
Quackity: who needs brain cells when you have incredibly massive muscles
    • In spite of their attempts to cover up the incident, it was naturally all caught in 4K by the stream's viewers... which is made funnier by the context that Foolish's chat has been canonized. One would wonder if their reactions were simply the Doozers gossipping.
belovedgamers: Foolish types fast but I screenshot faster
  • Fast forward to Quackity's fourth "Las Nevadas" stream itself, though the entire livestream is mostly serious, we have this gem when Quackity's teaching Slime to stand up to bad authority figures — which Quackity demonstrates by imitating Dream.
Slime: Pretend to be bad authority.
Quackity: (imitating Dream while chasing Slime around with a sword) Uh, Slime, I'm gonna take your discs. You're such an idiot.
    Slime: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Quackity: I'm gonna take your discs, and– and I'm going to use them emotionally against you, and I'm going to take...
    Slime: WHY???
Quackity: And kidnap everything that everyone wants in this server–
Slime: WHY??? It's so personal and evil!
Quackity: It is– I'm– I'm [an] evil guy! What can I say?
    Slime: JUST KILL ME!
Quackity: Hopefully I don't end up in prison or I'll get what I FUCKING DESERVE!!
    (flash-cut to normal)
    Slime: O–
    Quackity: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I–

    Dream's Escape from Prison
  • In the pre-recorded introductory segment to Techno's stream, when Sam is seen escorting Ranboo into the prison, Ranboo tries to stop and pick up a grass block on the way. Sam doesn't let him, though, and quickly punches him away.
  • While Dream's escape from prison shouldn't be a laughing matter in the first place, several funny moments manage to make it through.
    • In response to Techno blowing a hole in the Maximum Security Cell and setting off the alarm, Sam and Bad are both seen to have squished to death, i.e. died from entity cramming. Sapnap is then seen spamming that they were "cannon" deaths in the in-game chat. Then came this interaction:
      Ranboo: man really said cannon
      Sapnap: CANON
      Sapnap: RANBOO
      Sapnap: FUCK YOU
      Ranboo: HEY
      Sapnap: DONKEY BALLS
      Sapnap: DONKEY BALLS
      Sapnap: DONKEY BALLS
      Sapnap: DONKEY BALLS
Ranboo: IVE HAD A ROUGH BIRTHDAY MAN
      Ranboo: I DESERVE THIS
    • Dream opens up his ender chest after Techno supplies him with armour and weapons, and asks why there were twenty-two bells in his ender chest. Techno is ecstatic by this and immediately asks Dream to give him the bells, to which Dream complies.
Dream: Wait, why do I– I have twenty-two bells in my ender chest. Okay, anyway–
Techno: Twenty-two bell– oh, yo, give me those.
Dream: You know what, fine, you can have them. (passes Techno the bells)
      Techno: YOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
    • There was also a part where Techno broke through a wall he thought was to Ranboo's cell only to discover Connor standing there, apparently having been imprisoned for months to the surprise of absolutely everyone.
Techno: Connor, why are you in– why are you in jail?!
Connor: Stolen valor, actually, is what I'm here for.
      Techno: STOLEN VALOR??
Connor: Fake military ID at a Chick-Fil-A is not good ap–
Techno: You know what, I don't have time for this, you're coming with us. Welcome to the Jail Break, Connor.
      • In the process of the prison break, Techno accidentally placed his ender chests inside his ender chest, which led to a few awkward moments of the Jailbreak Squad floundering around to get back to the room where Techno last put down an ender chest for him to retrieve them.
      • Connor proceeded to follow the jail break team back to Arctic Commune, which eventually culminates into Connor joining the Syndicate, purely because he's there now and he has nothing better to do.
  • Sam takes Ranboo hostage by threatening Michael_Beloved and tells Dream to get back inside the prison or Ranboo would be killed, to which Dream responds with "I don't care". But naturally, being Sam, who treats the prison as Serious Business, this doesn't end well.
  • After their escape to the tundra, Techno demands that Dream return the armour that he borrowed for the escape.
    • Meanwhile, in the background, Quackity gets shot with a Drowned's trident, and ends up beating everyone else to the punch to joke that it was a canon death.
    • While Techno and Phil are planning for what to do next, Connor shows up at Syndicate HQ.
    • In the middle of promoting his channel and his merchandise, Techno drops the bomb on Niki that Ranboo was dead, and immediately resumes ringing his bell for meta self-promotion.
  • In the Prison Break's aftermath, Techno and Tubbo travel to the Snowchester Vault, where Sapnap is confronting Dream. Technoblade says this in response:
Technoblade: (in the in-game chat) im so excited watching this that im gonna buy five hoodies and technoblade.com link
    Sapnap: TECHNO! FUCK OFF!
    Techno: Sorry– Sorry
    • Techno later uploads a clip of the conversation from both his and Sapnap's perspective, which shows how loud Techno's keyboard actually was.
    • As the confrontation continues between Dream and Sapnap in Snowchester, Techno and Tubbo build one block as a disguise and have this exchange.
Tubbo: (in the in-game chat) this is crzy
Technoblade: (in the in-game chat) i know right good thing they dont see us
Technoblade: My keyboard's– My keyboard's kinda loud, they can just hear me on Discord...
    • Subsequently, Dream goes up to Technoblade very seriously and asks him for his axe, who points out that he is holding an axe right there. Dream than gives Techno the axe, only for it to turn out to be the Axe of Peace, and Dream pulls out another one right away. He then pulls out a third axe.
  • While the confrontation between Dream and Tommy in Logstedshire was all kinds of horrifying, after Dream says "You FUCKED me, Tommy", you can see Tommy on his webcam struggling not to laugh.
    • Another moment happens during the ensuing chase. Tommy is running away screaming while Dream is gleefully shouting about how he's gonna kill him... and then Tommy actually dies. They break character and he's teleported back, only for Dream to immediately re-enter character and start screaming and hitting Tommy again... resulting in Tommy getting startled and corpsing, meaning they have to pause the scene again.
