- Chugga makes a reference to one of his past blunders in The Runaway Guys Wheel of Fortune video:

- In a meta sense, this episode's position. After spending nearly 4 episodes of sidequests and tutorial knowledge while dawdling on Nia's impending execution, spending 2 episodes after on main story events, and now needing to flee Torigoth storywise... we go back to spending another 2 episodes (this and the upcoming next episode) on more sidequests.
- Chugga's self-admitted "sad existence" leads him to remember the name of his Common Blade with a Zelda CD-i reference.
- Episode 15: The Real Gramps
- The small subtitle above for the "A Young Man's Prize" sidequest telling you to:"go catch a bug at the ass-crack of 6 AM".

- Chugga's sheer disbelief in finding out the sidequest giver he just helped has a better tutorial for Breaking and Toppling Enemies than the actual tutorial system.
- One of Poppi's skills is gained by getting 20,000 points at Tiger! Tiger!. Chugga figures this will be easy... and gets 7800 points. And then the game gives it to him anyways because of his past success.
- For whatever reason, while Chugga is commenting on the pronunciation of Llysiau (chess-e-yai, which is still incorrect), Rex is hopping up and down in front of the NPC while Pyra is walking around in circles.
- The small subtitle above for the "A Young Man's Prize" sidequest telling you to:
- Episode 16: Star-Crossed Lovers
- Right as Chugga attempts to fight what he calls "the first truly tough unique monster" the Sniping Brent, it happens to fly out of his reach.
- When starting the eponymous quest, Chugga mixes up words and says that some Tirkin are being terrorized by Gormotti, rather than the other way around, and doesn't ever realize it.
- Chugga's unintentional hurricane of euphemisms when he's talking about fighting while accidentally hitting the left stick, which turns off the HUD:Chugga: ...It gets so intense and it's such butt-clenching moments that I can't help but click the stick a little bit while I'm really enthusiastically groping the controller... That was, like, four creepy things in one sentence.
- After Wyn says to get out of his face, Chugga immediately goes against his word by jumping in front of him... only to get stuck in a loop that makes it look like Nia is twerking in his face.
- Episode 17: Umon the Shipwright
- Chugga's luck returns, but in a way that's unlucky for him. After finding a Sealstone of Earth, Chugga uses the opportunity to pull more Blades and get a Common one with Earth Mastery. His pulls lead him to getting three Rare Blades, none of whom were part of his file's "Pity Blade" set... but only one Earth Blade, which he accidentally released offscreen while clearing out roster space. What adds to the hilarity is that he claims he isn't trying to get purely female Blades... Yet ALL of his Rare Blades he gets are purely female.
- As Chugga takes a look out from the top of a secret location for the view, he nonchalantly notes Tora nearly falling to his death.
- As Chugga climbs down a vine, Electra falls down and does a faceplant upon landing. He checks again to see what happens and confirms it.
- Episode 18: The Urayan Giant
- On a meta level, the episode begins with the whole party screaming. This can lead to hilarity if you open the video in a public place.
- Chugga finishes off a monster with his special, only for the animation to make it seem like the monster is being slashed open through the ass. Chugga makes yet another... interesting response:Chugga: Ow! Swiped his butt like a credit card!
- As Chugga fails to fight off the much tougher enemies in the lower part of the area, Pyra keeps on gaining skills as a result of trying (and failing) on said enemies, making Chugga wonder if she's a masochist.
- As Chugga attempts to fight another high-level enemy:Chugga: Let's be real: if I can't do this with Crosette, I can't do this. [Cut to party wipe] Nope.
- Episode 19: The Garfont Mercenaries

- Chugga talks to an NPC named Raloo, who greets you as a newcomer... while Chugga has her boss Vandham in the front of the party.Chugga: ...Vandham do you even know who you're hiring?
- Episode 20: A Pain in Miasma
- Chugga lampshades Vandham having only 1 pouch item available to him, despite his character design having tons of extra pockets.
- At this point, it's easy to point out and laugh at the fact that Chugga can't decide on whether to say Vandham as "Van Damme" or "Van Dum".
- Chugga is so distracted by the beautiful scenery that he almost falls down a cliff.
- During a particularly long fight, the camera spazzes out on the sloped ground during a special and zooms in on Vandham's crotch.THREE. TIMES. With only one exception being on Kora during her Special. The reason why the fight took so long? Because the Volff mobs keep on calling for help, much to Chugga's chagrin.
- To Chugga's disbelief, Nia somehow dies during the fight against an Ardun when she's needed to use a Break Art with Dromarch. Then less than 10 seconds after reviving her, she inflicts her Break Art... after Rex is already dead because he was trying to get a potion. Lampshaded at the end of the fight during the cutscene.
- After the above, Chugga notes that on his first time playing, he had swapped out Rex for Vandham, and thus the intended bonding moment between the two that the fight was supposed to show ended up being utterly negated and looked extremely silly.
- During the end card, Chugga pulls off his magic of edit timing and plays Nia's random meow at Akhos in the last few seconds.
Episodes 21-30

- Chugga makes his way to the bottom of Stage 2 in Tiger!Tiger! on normal mode mostly intact... and then dies by stubbing his toe on an urchin at the end.

- And then later he claims his best Stage 2 score using a certain group's initials:
- Chugga's exasperation with the failings of Shield Hammer class Blades gives way to amusement when Nia and Finch say almost exactly the same lines. This stands out because said lines are completely random, and it's even funnier given that it's Finch.
- Chugga's voice for the Battle Observer is effectively Simon from Alvin & The Chipmunks—a fact he quietly apologizes for almost immediately after saying it then he does an attempt at fighting the Implacable Dylan for the sake of the Battle Observer, in which he dies to the opening art it uses.Chugga: *exasperated* I COULDN'T EVEN SURVIVE THE OPENING AR—*Smash Cut to the Battle Observer menu*
- Chugga makes his way to the bottom of Stage 2 in Tiger!Tiger! on normal mode mostly intact... and then dies by stubbing his toe on an urchin at the end.

- The tweet that announced the release of the video goes as follows:Chugga: I didn't misclick the publish time! My hand was forced by the mighty Zeke!
- Chugga attempts to explain a previous comment regarding Azami in Episode 15, but the explanation doesn't help much.Chugga: I really just meant it in a wetting pants sorta way, not like she was making me... Y'know um... Do the thing that Daisy does.
- Chugga, while gushing about the scenery, also sidles up to a well hidden treasure trove... and upon opening it, some of it falls off the cliff, and Chugga falls to his death to go and grab it.
- Chugga is advised to lose against Zeke, so he does, allowing Zeke to pummel Nia on Dromarch's back. The end result? Nia gets thrown off of Dromarch, and the Objective afterwards tells you to "Defeat Zeke von Genbu, Bringer of Chaos, the most evil Driver in Alrest", leaving Chugga in stitches. Considering Nia was the unfortunate leader of the party when Chugga threw the fight, and her interactions with Zeke later on, you could almost imagine that she wrote in that extra description herself.
- After the Zeke battle, Chugga attempts to fight a small Karlin Skwaror, and is about to use Vandham's attack... when it uses a fart and sends him flying into the air, much to Chugga's annoyance.
- When Tora dies in battle, the Anloods (goat monsters) end up stacking up on top of each other.
- While starting the fight with the Cunning Saggie, Chugga hits it in the ass with the Bitball. And really, the name Cunning Saggie is a source of humor itself.
- The tweet that announced the release of the video goes as follows:
- Episode 23: The Belly of the Beast
- While giving Perceval a new Core Chip, Chugga says that the Magnet Chip "increases Rex-terity...". The funny part is that no one is sure whether that was intentional or not.
- Chugga's idea of going to pick up items for Perceval cuts to the group brutally murdering a Driver in Torigoth with complete nonchalance.
- Chugga eagerly starts up a sidequest to save some newbie Drivers, intending on using it as a demonstration for his new Blade... and then he realizes he forgot to actually equip Perceval and temporarily runs away, leaving the hapless newbie Drivers to their fate while he gets all of the Arts for Perceval set up.
- Chugga is amused at one of Vandham's skills called "Beefcake Flurry", which he notes sounds like a McDonald's McFlurry (milkshake) made from hamburgers.
- Episode 24: The Land of Titans
- Chugga claims he's no madman, but his following statement doesn't help his case:Chugga: I don’t kill super cute critters unless I know there’s money involved.
- Chugga accidentally refers to Konakona as a female under his breath when Tora speaks up, even after Konakona claims to have a Wifeypon.
- As Chugga talks about how he's going to handle Blade Arts from this point forward, he doesn't realizing his party is dying until it's too late.
- After Chugga fails to beat a monster correctly, he has to flee. The game gives him a new Affinity Skill as if out of pity. Though given the cave the Whispering Igna ran into get for help has LEVEL 78 monsters, his fear was not unjustified.
- Chugga gets sidetracked by an Upa glitching out in a cliff face near a pack of level 70 monsters. Mere seconds after beating said monster though, one of the level 70s gets aggroed... and gets stuck in the wall, causing the fight to get stuck in combat, to the utter confusion of Chugga. And then the monster gets unstuck and kills Tora, much to Chugga's increasing panic.
- Chugga's reaction to an earlier attempt to find a Location Discovery, which results in him running around in panic and aggroing several monsters in the cave. Who kill him.
- Chugga is thoroughly amused to find out Bana is only 1 stage above a Baby-Ranked Salvager.
- Chugga makes a truly terrible pun related to a certain Avatar series while switching his party to include Kora and Azami:Chugga: ...'Cause in this house, KorAzami (Korrasami) is CANON! Cause she uses a cannon...!"
- Chugga having one, big Take That! towards the two-faced lambasting of Xenoblade's art style is not only funny as hell, but also sooo cathartic.
- While Chugga is getting ranked by Mochichi, Dromarch and Mochichi appear to kiss. Cue Chugga slapping a heart onscreen for a brief second.
- Chugga claims he's no madman, but his following statement doesn't help his case:
- Episode 25: The Heroic Adventures of Addam
- Chugga screws up his intro.
- Chugga notes after changing some equipment around that Tora is now wearing a mask of his face and an eye patch at the same time.
- Chugga, while browsing the Salvager shop of Uraya ends up noting the lack of orifices for you to go salvaging out of in the predominantly Belly-based Titan, leaving a very awkward mental image. And then he notes that he nearly misread one of the items as "Thick Proton Head."
- Episode 26: Feeding Artists
- Chugga starts off the video with a note regarding how the Churro Shop can't be bought out, which transitions into a jab at concession stands for being overpriced, and his own experiences working at one.
- Chugga's first fight in the episode ends up being a mild train wreck, since Rex doesn't have his Break and doesn't use the right skills, and then Poppi uses Mega Eruption seconds after Chugga sarcastically suggests it... on pretty much nothing.
- Chugga describes the cliff where Zeke fell to his doom as "a historical landmark."
- While salvaging Perceval starts glitching out when getting stuck, which Chugga sings along to.
- While talking to an NPC who was on the Maelstrom ship for Chapter 1, he mentions hoping that Chairman Bana will check to make sure his clients aren't terrorists like the Torna group... which he says to the current controlled character Nia. Who is made to casually leave while Chugga whistles innocently.
- Chugga attempts to platform with Dromarch to see the next Salvager Rank. It goes as well as you'd expect for someone of his size.Chugga: Dromarch you'reterribleatplatformin-hopping now with a much more reasonable girth.
- Chugga is thoroughly peeved when, in return for all of the hard work he put in to get the Booster Cylinder, his reward is a grand total of THREE. Boosters.
- Episode 27: Into the Open Sky
- Chugga opens by gushing over Dromarch doing a catloaf while idle.
- As if to really kick him in the face over the worthlessness of the Booster Cylinder last episode, the barrel Chugga opens in Argentum has 3 boosters in it, something he lampshades.
- Poppi gets her next skill up in Nopon Wisdom except her stock "Poppi Feel Stronger" quote is oddly timed:Chugga: ...In the vocal cords?
- While buffing up Roc's Scythes, Chugga nearly misreads Tenacious Sickles as Tentacle Sickles.
- The ending has Vandham in front of the waterfall, and the stomach growl makes it clear he's hungry, but the positioning and his idle animation makes it look like he's ready to take a piss.
- Episode 28: Our Own War
- The episode itself is entirely serious and quite somber at the end, but one small bit of humor comes from the comments, especially this one:Maya Carraway: "Here we see the Alrestian custom of sleeping above the covers fully dressed."
Chugga: Don't knock it 'till you try it! I always found I slept easier when I was colder, but my parents kept telling me sleeping above the covers was 'wrong.' So then I grew up and did it anyway. Still looks really funny, though!TheKpa11: "Them blanket physics. Always a hassle." - Following up on Candle Pyra from the intro video, a Twitter user drew fanart of the true power of the Aegis... Mythra as a lamp.
- The episode itself is entirely serious and quite somber at the end, but one small bit of humor comes from the comments, especially this one:
- Episode 29: The Last Wish
- The comments being the funny aspect of an otherwise serious episode continues:Maya Carraway: Not sure why they didn't just press A next to Vandham's grave. That brings back every other thing with a name.
- Chugga talks about a time where MasaeAnela was in the same room as him while the Mercenary Missions Theme was playing. Despite trying to avoid spoilers for the game, she thought the theme was amazing and asked what Chugga was doing... and let out a big "Whaaaaaaaaat!?" when he sheepishly informed her it was a PAUSE MENU theme.
- Chugga's snark towards the worthless tutorials strikes again when the Tutorial starts explaining the Mercenary Missions. Again. Doubly funny given that while Yew the character was the one telling us, it's also a bit of a pun given that Chugga was the one doing the explaining as well:Chugga: ...So, you're just gonna be repeating what a better tutorial said.
- The comments being the funny aspect of an otherwise serious episode continues:
- Episode 30: The Future Looks Merc-y
Episodes 31-40
- Episode 31: To Be Young Again...
- Chugga... CHEATING.
- Chugga finds a Nopon named BroBro, and proceeds to give him an accent that sounds like a constipated surfer dude.
- Chugga's voice for Hirkham (the guy from the first Episode who "CAN'T DO CREDIT" when Rex parks Azurda at the docks) at first sounds vaguely Scottish, but it rapidly degrades into a poor man's version of Arnold Schwarzenegger's accent.Chugga: ...I'm sorry, Scottish people. You don't all sound like that to me. I promise.
- Chugga lampshades the absurdity of one of the Merc Missions he gets:Chugga: ...So, the mercenaries are taking up all the seats [in the canteen at Argentum], so we're getting more mercenaries {aka sending the Garfont mercenaries) to look after the mercenaries... Sounds good!
- Chugga needs to air grievances with the previous scene... but then has to reassure Mòrag and Niall that he's not talking about them.
- Episode 32: The Hard Roc Life
- While Chugga is exasperated at the Tutorials telling something that was already shown many quests ago, the camera starts zooming in on a frozen frame of Pyra... which also looks exasperated. Mere seconds after that, Chugga finds out he doesn't have the right Blade for the job, and has to go talk to the NPC to get a freebie. Funny given his usually ridiculous luck:Chugga trying to explain to Otto in embarrassment: I'm not incompetent, I'm just unlucky!
- Chugga's accidentally humorous quotes strikes again:Chugga: ...Umon, you have to answer for your adopted children!... At least I assume they're adopted. I don't know what happens if a Gormotti and a Nopon do the hanky-panky.
- Chugga, in a squeaky appalled voice, compares the fight against the Puffots as being akin to an armed robber fighting against someone's pet parakeet.
- As the episode comes to a close, a Salvager clips through Dromarch in the cutscene.
Funny given his usually ridiculous luck:
- Episode 33: Road to the Capital
- As Chugga opens the treasure trove with Roc (with his artwork showing him at work), the ingame model for Roc respawns and ends up falling down past the ledge.
- The game reminding Chugga repeatedly (to his annoyance) that he doesn't have a Blade with Keen Eye.
- Chugga tries to pull off his signature Big "NO!" when denying an NPC an item... except he forgets to move the cursor and accidentally hit "Yes" instead.
- The sight of Beary shoving Ursula's face up Dromarch's ass.Chugga: DROMARCH! That's no way to treat a lady!
- Dromarch's AI spazzes out and starts hopping all over an NPC, while Tora dances inside of another.
- Chugga snarks at Korwyn's naive assumptions about the economy...
- "You know, we monsters have made great strides in the history of literature."Wulfric: Thank you. (beat) It's... been too long.
- And when Wulfric is presented with Marine Stir-Fry:Wulfric: ...Can I... eat it now? I cannot resist.
- Chugga is thoroughly amused by the quote, though he does end up lampshading that Wulfric likes food from the worst food vendor in Argentum.Chugga: Eh, nobody's perfect.
- Chugga is thoroughly amused by the quote, though he does end up lampshading that Wulfric likes food from the worst food vendor in Argentum.
- Chugga dubs the theme of Mor Ardain "The Badass version of The Price is Right!"
- Chugga attempts repeatedly to look at Wulfric during his outro, but the AI for Wulfric keeps turning around, making it seem like Wulfric isn't enthused, to Chugga's increasing annoyance. And then Chugga accidentally steps off the ledge and falls to his death in the end card screen. As the comments eloquently put it:Noah Wolfdude: Imagine the look on Special Inquisitor Morag's face when she reads the news report about the Driver of the Aegis's unfortunate demise via a game of peek-a-boo with a demon from hell.
- Episode 34: Muimui Bueno
- "There's your reaction image. Use it well." (Screencapped version for your convenience.◊)
- FOOT PAWNCH!
- "Muimui not very interesting, so Tora forgot he exist."Chugga: OOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!
- Chugga cracks up at one of the parody books at one of the stores:Chugga: Wait, Les Awfuls?! *starts cracking up* Now, that is good parody!
- Nia once again pulls a Wyn and makes inappropriate gestures through the power of glitches.Chugga: Man, I've heard about coming onto someone, but this is ridiculous.
- While trying to reach a collection point to grab Mokmo Onions on Lascham Island, Chugga aggros and can't shake off one of the higher level monsters on there. It goes downhill from there.Rex making an appropriate response as he aggros another monster: No no! Don't look this way!
- Episode 35: Awkward Date
- Chugga starts off by giving the NPC Alisdeigh an atrocious Italian sounding accent, and then accidentally misreads the text to say "share the bonds of nationalism" rather than "shatter the bonds of nationalism".
- "Sarasa was the problem! LittleDidIKnow the country that spawned my waifu would be my undoing!"
- Then later...Sarasa: I'll make sure to spread the-
Chugga: ...I don't wanna know how you were going to finish that sentence.
- Then later...
- Chugga goes back to play the new Tiger! Tiger! level unlocked upon arriving in Mor Ardain, and his score just so happens to be 69,337. Made even better by the name he types in.Chugga: (types in SNL) 69 Leet! ...On Saturday Night Live!
- On one run of a new Tiger! Tiger! level, Chugga is left with one pixel of health left. He notes how lucky and unlucky he is... and then gets hit.
- While running from a mob in Uraya, Chugga relates an incident where a guy who went to his high school tried to outrun the police, and when pulled over to be asked why he tried to run, the answer given? He thought he could do it because he was able to do so in Grand Theft Auto.
- Chugga needs Keen Eye for a quest, and he knows the next Pity Blade he's scheduled to get has the skill, so he awakens Core Crystals. Right as he has enough pity points... he pulls an entirely different Rare Blade with Agate instead of his intended one, Adenine. Chugga being Chugga, this random blade (Agate) just happens to be one of the few who ALSO has Keen Eye. This becomes even more humorous when he reaches the second mural... which needs two levels of Keen Eye, something that he would not have had if he only pulled Adenine or Agate. And then it turns out between the two of them (and Wulfric), he has every skill needed to see each of the sidequest objectives.
- Chugga misreads one of the shrine murals "In Whose Embrace I Sleep" as "I Embrace Who I Sleep".
- Chugga figures that with the riddle solved by Alisdeigh, he can basically have all the treasure to himself since he did all of the running around... and then it turns out he doesn't have enough Earth Mastery to even GET the treasure from its hiding place. The irony of having the luck to get all the skills for the quest, but not enough to get the reward is not missed by him.
- The increasingly passive-aggressive tone of irritation that Chugga gives to the party members for the second major sidequest "One Step Ahead" as they pursue Cherlie.
- During the fight for the Healing Herb, Chugga fails to notice everyone else dying while playing as Nia because he doesn't play as the healer very often. And then the whole party dies and Chugga gets booted all the way to the bottom of the waterfall and has to climb back up all over again.
- Episode 36: The Militia's Request
- While avoiding the Level 90 Immovable Gonzales, Chugga comments on how even his toenail is probably Level 50.
- He also calls the Gonzales Level F.U.
- Chugga snarks about Finch not having a nose when she "sniffs" out a collection point, wondering if she forgot that too... only to be impressed when he gets a massive amount of the item he needs, and he says that this is probably the first time she's actually mattered in her life. Though this then turns into him noting her better traits such as her funny personality and lines and good chemistry with Nia as a character.
- THE TITAN'S ASSHOLE!
- The Subtitle on the Bottom has the word "Ball" in Morph Ball partially crossed out and fixed with "Orb".
- The Subtitles for some of the missions are hilarious. An example for "The Missing Order" sidequest:
- When confronting Mopopo about the order, it turns out she won't deliver it because she won't make any money for it due to changes in Gormott shipping, despite the customer Feyla needing it. Chugga's response?Chugga in response to Wulfric smashing the ground, making it explode: Yeah, Wulfric's got the right idea!
- While avoiding the Level 90 Immovable Gonzales, Chugga comments on how even his toenail is probably Level 50.
- Episode 37: Tranquility
- The first stage of the sidequest for Vess is completed near instantly due to Chugga's item hoarding. Humorously, Vess' dialogue notes how long it must have taken to find said items.
- The changing of rice balls into something else returns in this episode, and the comments waste no time in referring to a certain infamous change in another series:AnubisGodess 23: 7:40 Rex: "Are these..Dumplings?"
Dromark: "They are indeed dumplings."
Brock:"Actually, there Jelly doughnuts!"🍙🍙🍙 - Chugga's utterly bizarre rant when Adenine names her squad "Contrarians" about how things can't just be okay, either having to be the greatest thing or the worst thing ever. It's funny in how utterly jarring it is, and how it seems like Chugga might have been holding this in for a while now.
- While attempting to fight against the Demon-Shelled Jacob as Nia, Chugga starts chanting:Chugga: I will not forget I am playing healer. I will not forget I am playing healer. I will not forget I am playing healer.
- One cutaway later, Chugga barely manages to heal his party after nearly dying against the Demon-Shelled Jacob... and then the beast punts him off a cliff. Chugga's scream of anger after wasting seven minutes fighting is appropriate. Ursula gaining a new Affinity Skill is the cherry on top.
- Episode 38: Fame, Family, and Forgetting
- The episode starts off with Perceval getting a monster NPC's crotch in his face, and then said NPC dragging Perceval away, much to Chugga's bewilderment.
- Chugga goes and attacks the Mayne Driver in Torigoth for no reason. Again. Before cutting away from the carnage to his real intentions.
- And then he gets murdered again in the same episode later on when they need to put up flyers for Falala on the notice board he's standing in front of. Dude just can't catch a break.
- While upgrading Wulfric, Chugga nearly misreads Lance of Harm as "Lance of Ham", also being amused at the idea of Wulfric's weapon being a giant ham on a stick.
- As he scales a ladder in Fonsa Myma, Chugga notices the giant gate in the background, and concludes that the gate leads to the Titan's butthole.Chugga: IT MAKES SENSE! I'm sorry but it does!
- Chugga starts talking about feasting on the tears of ones enemies as he dives into an underground spring in Wyrmtears... only to end up right next to a LOT of level 78-79 monsters.
- When Chugga starts the sidequest he mentioned a while back for Falala, he ends up subjecting us to his... singing talents. Appropriate given the sidequest character in question.
- Finch's forgetfulness goes to the point where upon returning from a Merc Mission, she ends up trying to bar her own team from being let back in, leaving Chugga in stitches at this.
- Episode 39: Rooftop Run
- The episode starts with Chugga complaining that Roc won't do any of his idle animations for the past 20 minutes. He finally turns away and upon returning to where Roc is and moving Roc out of the way... finds out that Adenine was doing her idle animations. Which was being blocked by Roc's body. And he missed it.
- This gets followed up by him checking out to see if Tora's finally gotten enough points to get a useful skill... and he's BARELY 108 points away from being able to get it.
- While equipping Mythra, Chugga apologizes to her for letting so many other blades wear her Massive Melee Mythra tights/Aux Core.
- Shortly after, Finch not only repeats her mistake from the previous episode regarding her Merc Team, but when Chugga tries to show how Mythra changed her clothing as a result of wearing the Massive Melee Mythra tights, she runs behind the door as if shy, much to Chugga's amusement.
- Chugga defends Mythra's tights because he thinks they make her look hotter.
- While Chugga talk about how he's not much of a fan of some of this chapter's plot points and gameplay despite enjoying the setting and music, the items from a mob he killed drops past the thin walkway he's on to the ground below.
- Chugga lets Rex die so he can reset and put Tora into the main slot for the fight against Lila.Chugga: You're not the right person for this fight. NOW YOU DIE!
- Chugga's epic voice crack when yelling Nia's name after she dies during the Lila fight.
- The AI Party members' complete ineptitude during the fight, from Rex not using Break Arts to Nia switching to the wrong character, much to Chugga's frustration.
- "I never knew how much I needed to see Tora naked."
- When Mythra mentions she knew Brighid but that's a story for another time, Chugga replaces the subtitle with "$29.99 + tax", referencing the events of Torna ~ The Golden Country.
- At the end of the episode, Chugga lampshades the moment when Rex claims no one was hurt:Chugga: Except for those dozen soldiers you killed because they told you to go to bed!
- Episode 40: Lila's Location
- Chugga mentioning that there's naked concept art for the hotspring scene... for Poppi.
- Chugga makes a certain reference to a certain show, and then spams his Merc group team building so rapidly that every character's voice clips overlaps each other.Chugga: ...Shut up.
- When going to Belchett Recycling, an image of Master Belch with a Super Crown on it is placed on the screen, making Chugga wonder how that would turn out.Chugga: What, a feminine burp?
- Chugga's real life fear of scorpions is magnified when he sees the Scorpox mob, basically a 5 feet tall version of the scorpion. And then he gets chased by one not long after the talk with Timell.Chugga: ...I don't wanna catch the scorpox! It's like the evil version of the chicken pox!
- While battling a Fabel Bufa, Chugga's voice cracks repeatedly while being utterly creeped out by it's face.
- Not too long after, Chugga accidentally pauses at the right moment before a new fight starts, much to his amusement.
- When Poppi uses her Nopon Wisdom skill to read the Nopon writing, the cutscene frames it as Tora being able to. And the screen zooms in on Poppi standing inside of a barrel.
- When the Affinity Chart for the Common Blade Konjiki is fully completed, what's the reward? Weaponry for Noobs. Chugga's unamused to say the least, in part because of how utterly non-indicative the name is for what the item actually does.
Episodes 41-50
- Episode 41: Old Industrial District
- The episode starts with Chugga trying to march in synch with a group of soldiers... only for the AI to react in such a way just after he makes a terrible pun that it looks like they're turning away from him. and then they ignore him afterwards.Chugga: Wow, no sense of humor these military types.
- While giving his insight into Mythra's benefits as a Blade, he ends up noting that despite what the cutscene implies, Mythra can actually be used indoors combatwise without getting weaker (it's only Sacred Arrow that has limitations)... and goes on a tangent about how he had taken the cutscene seriously and never used Mythra indoors if he could help it in a past playthrough.Chugga: Seriously, the bad tutorials are bleeding into the characters themselves now! The tutorial man's rubbing off on Pyra!
- Chugga needs to farm Noog Skeeters in order to find the quest objective, and he admits he doesn't know how many he'll need to kill to get it, citing that you have to pay attention to flight patterns to figure it out... and it's the very first one he kills.
- The quest above reveals that it involves secret schedules for Niall and Mòrag. Chugga in return makes a reference (intentionally?) to a certain president after he turns it in:Chugga: Ah I knew it. They're always golfing instead of doing their actual diplomatic duties.
- As Chugga uses a new Salvage Point, Rex is gone from the usual scene, only to then pop back in.
- Chugga fights a creature called a Speed Runner and starts narrating about their namesake in a fashion akin to a documentary.
- Due to Pyra's absence, Chugga doesn't have enough Fire Blades on Rex to use a Field Skill on a door. He chalks this up to Rex not wanting to cheat on Pyra. He awakens a Common Fire Blade on Rex, which happens to be a dog.Chugga: Wow Pyra, he cheated on you with a bitch.
- Chugga has been struggling to pronounce a good chunk of the words in this episode, but Agate amusingly mispronounces the name of the Les Awfuls book that even Chugga knows how to pronounce.
- The episode starts with Chugga trying to march in synch with a group of soldiers... only for the AI to react in such a way just after he makes a terrible pun that it looks like they're turning away from him. and then they ignore him afterwards.
- Episode 42: Lila's Masterpon
- Within the first minute, Chugga mispronounces Ruined Laborer's Bridge as Ruben's. The text even lampshades this.
- The first NPC Chugga goes to meet is a Nopon called Yamama. Combined with their typical way of speaking makes a lot of their statements giggle-worthy.
- While talking to Yamama, Chugga notices that Mythra, somehow, is super far away from the group, and jokes that she wants nothing to do with the conversation.
- Chugga makes a joke about how Mythra would know about destroying Titans... and her AI causes her to start walking away, as if giving him the cold shoulder in response.Chugga: ...Right, awkward.
- Chugga drops down to get a chest on a ledge, but forgot to register the skip travel point of the Abandoned Factory, causing him to have to go back to the Ruined Laborer's Bridge instead.
- Chugga finds it amusing that the Abandoned Factory music sounds a lot like the main theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Chugga tries to fight the Carbis Scout with the intent of killing it before it gets more help... and it runs right past him, with the AI-controlled party members failing to kill it.Chugga: Seriously guys!? You let him get away?!
- After the cutscene reuniting Tora and his father and the reveal of Muimui's true nature, Chugga ends up lampshading how it seems like every two bit villain wannabe keeps sending their army of birds (Muimui using Tirkin) after him despite how ineffective it is. Also a Callback to Episode 32.
- During the Lila boss fight, Chugga ends up being very perplexed at what Bana and Muimui are doing.
- Just at the end of the episode, in the middle of the tense situation regarding Bana's escape, the popup for the Level 2 Development of Mor Ardain shows up.
- Episode 43: Factory Tour
- Chugga notes about how much trouble large packs of opponents are with only Rex and Nia in the party... while the Tirkin in the background more or less ignore him despite him beating up one of their own.Pob Lowe: Enemies attacking in numbers in the most dangerous things here" he says as two tirkin sit back and watch.
- As he talks about Adenine's strengths as a Blade, Chugga has some funny reactions to Adenine's odder statements throughout:Adenine after getting a book pouch item: You knew I liked books? How could you tell?
Chugga: ...[Adenine] is a narcissist.
Adenine after getting Torigoth Marinade: Oh, now this is a blast from the past. I love it!
Chugga: ...You were actually born three days ago and this is your first time eating this. What are you talking about?
Adenine after a fight: But where does food go after we consume it? Another mystery waiting to be solved!
Chugga: ...Says the girl with an alternate dimension for a small intestine. - Chugga decides to fight another Carbis Scout as Nia after he runs past it... and it ignores him, running down the stairs where Rex ends up hitting him with a Break instead.Chugga: *cracks up laughing* Rex was waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs! It's like he knew!
- As Chugga fights another Tirkin (Gattle Tirkin), it continues the Factory tradition of running away from Chugga... and ends up running all the way down the stairs and back up again as Chugga tries to figure out where it went while commenting on his miserable first time playing through the Abandoned Factory.
- Chugga summarizes the overall first time experience he had with the Ardainian Titan on his first playthrough, which as he notes started out alright, but then steadily became pretty miserable due to the mazelike nature of the Old Industrial District, getting stuck for over two hours in the Abandoned Factory due to the lack of knowledge of the place's layout and the terrible tutorials poorly teaching him how to play, with only the Zeke fight being a highlight. But what ends up capping things off is the fact that during the Rosa fight, he had accidentally left Rex out of the party during the second half, which meant he was stuck playing as Nia and Tora. And despite how slow the fight was as a result (being nearly half an hour long), he still somehow managed to win via autoattacking despite Nia barely being able to heal through it, AND despite him trying to actively LOSE the fight so he could restart with Rex.
- Chugga demonstrates that Poppi QT likes art by giving her a... Woodprint Carving of Bana. QT is way too excited.Chugga: She's also-
Poppi QT: Meh! Meh! Meh! Poppi's heart full!
Chugga: A traitor. - Chugga notes that talking to the unconscious Muimui after he finishes upgrading Poppi QT post-cutscene is improving the development of Mor Ardain... before considering the implications of that.Chugga: ...Us relishing in Muimui's suffering is making Mor Ardain a more developed nation! That's really messed up!
- Chugga notes about how much trouble large packs of opponents are with only Rex and Nia in the party... while the Tirkin in the background more or less ignore him despite him beating up one of their own.
- Episode 44: Goddess of the Praetorium
- Chugga is really getting into his explanation of how to fight against Mikhail and Patroka...Chugga: ...Focusing your efforts, and keeping the aggro on the tank...
"Low Battery" Warning Goes Off
Chugga: ...as well as keeping your battery life high... that's embarassing, in a big moment like this. - Mere seconds after Mòrag joins the party and Chugga gushes about her capabilities, Rex somehow ends up dead. Chugga lampshades that someone dying always seems to happen to him in this fight.
- Not too long after the above however, Chugga's ENTIRE PARTY DIES. As he notes that he's never been able to finish the fight on the first try, right afterwards a new Merc Mission pops up.
- As Chugga goes through his new party member's menus to check on upgrades, a comment lampshades one of Brighid's abilities:Ruby: Amateur Tactician: The blade who never opens her eyes has Keen Eye. Ah, tasty irony.
- The Stinger of the episode is Mikhail yelping when Patroka punches him, and Chugga edits in a picture of Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- Chugga is really getting into his explanation of how to fight against Mikhail and Patroka...
- Episode 45: Leftheria
- After the rather lengthy cutscene, Chugga babbles a bit about how much he was bombarded by the sheer number of questions he had regarding everything revealed in that cutscene alone. And then not too long after this, he cuts to a battery break.
- Chugga held off on talking about Mòrag last episode, since he has attachment issues to Drivers joining with only one Blade and having really good skills on the beginning of their Affinity Chart.
- Chugga struggles to figure out how to pronounce the word "Quoteletta", and concludes that the way he pronounces it (Quote-lett-ah) makes it sound like Cackletta's strangely named cousin who's obsessed with punctuation. He notes how awkward it is and claims:Chugga: I don't know! They don't teach us anything besides America in history class around here!
- Chugga wondering what it is with the Xenoblade series and putting testicles on birds' faces.
- Chugga uses Brighid's level 3 special right as the enemy he was fighting died. As a result, she just ends up looking like she's flailing her arms at nothing.Chugga: They managed to make Brighid look like a Dumbass, right in front of Mythra too.
- Chugga talks to an NPC who names the two paths ahead as the Lud Cloudway and the Orl Cloudway.Chugga: We don't have a choice. We're either doing oral or gettin' lewd.
- Not too long after the above, he finds a rare Wood Chip drop from one of the testicle-faced birds. His response?Chugga: Huh, so that's what's inside those balls.
- Chugga plays a replay of Mòrag getting toppled to the ground by one of the Nyol Flamii and spat on.
- Not long after, Chugga gets attacked by a level 43 Falc Lexos. He's initially optimistic given Mòrag's abilities giving her high evasion and high damage... and then Nia dies. And then Mòrag dies after reviving Nia.Chugga: To make a long story short, Nah.
- Chugga says that Brighid's hair look like gummi candy with how they jiggle while she walks, and that he wants to eat her hair. And then he realizes he's on the wrong island.
- Episode 46: A Good In-Vess-tment
- "How does such a little thing have that much air pressure building up inside of it? That should kill you!"
- AS Chugga groans about having to do the long arduous process of refighting everything to clear up the area around Confiscator Jimmy, Mythra kicks him down with her hilariously appropriate in-game quote:Mythra: Try to do it properly this time.
- Chugga's admission to Mondegreen Gag.
- Chugga feels absolutely vindicated after finally managing to defeat Confiscator Jimmy and his past failed attempts in his first playthrough... and then he falls off the walkway into the Cloud Sea below.
- Chugga's gone salvaging for the Empire.
- As soon as Rex returns from salvaging and the crew has to fight a Nomul Lysaat, not only does Rex say the oh-so cheesy, "We'll beat them with The Power of Friendship," but you can also see Mòrag walking off a cliff in the background when the camera pivots.
- Chugga's reaction to the Fruity Rice Ball:
- Chugga reveals that the concept artist made sure to include what Vess's underwear looks like
- Episode 47: Fonsett Memories
- After the cutscene where Corinne notes how well Rex looks, Chugga can't help but snark:Chugga: Yeah, Rex has been doing great, except for being a zombie now!
- His snark further continues with how generic the NPC children look next to Rex during the cutscene.
- Getting Development Level One for the Leftherian Archipelago leads to another bit of snark:
- He then gives the Cylinder salesman a bad stoner accent for some reason.
- Chugga tries out a Salvage Point nearby... only to realize after he triggers a fight against a fished up Nomul Lysaat that he doesn't have anyone else in the party except Rex. He BARELY fails to kill it and dies.Chugga: What a sad canonical way for Rex to die! He comes home [and gets to see essentially his mom again, bringing his "bride to-be"]... and then he just dies in her backyard to some bug!
- Tora then unintentionally rubs salt into the wound by mentioning salvaging things after Chugga speaks to him post-fight.
- Chugga only has this to say in regards to the item name "Silken Stool":
- As Chugga goes back to speak to Corinne post-cutscene, the AI freaks out and makes Nia start jumping throughout the entire conversation. Further amusing is when Pyra gets mentioned in the conversation, Nia stops jumping as if suddenly less enthused.
- Chugga jokes about how Corinne requiring 1G to have a short rest in her home is the compromise between her and Rex after he insisted on paying her.
- After jumping down to find Overgrown Ivy that he can clear away... he ends up not being able to do it because he doesn't have enough Wind Mastery (By ONE LEVEL) because he sent off the Blades needed on a Merc Mission. To add insult to injury, AFTER getting the way open by awakening a Wind Blade, he opens a Treasure Trove... and then accidentally kicks off a Heart-to-Heart cutscene, meaning he doesn't get any of the treasure.Chugga after resetting thanks to the Blade Awakening Autosaving: *voice cracking* Why? Why would you put those two triggers so close together?
- When Chugga describes the area behind said ivy as Rex's secret base, he briefly plays appropriate music.
- After the cutscene where Corinne notes how well Rex looks, Chugga can't help but snark:
- Episode 48: A Test of Strength
- The comments strike again, starting with a joke about the title:Marionic: Are we talking a minor, moderate, or major test of strength?
- Chugga himself got in on it during the video, with the sidequest description reading "These shrines are always free Orbs!"
- Chugga loots the treasure trove in front of the first quest giver, claiming it as his "advance".
- Chugga's increasing exasperation with having to find the items for the "At Wit's End" quest on Daram's Isle, especially needing to kill so many tribal orientated mobs like Tirkin. It only worsens when he, going to a different island to try to speed things up, has to spend over half an hour just to get the five Border Sapphires.
- When Chugga faces off against the merc heads to prove his strength as leader, he accidentally pronounces Exacting Vorden's name as Extricating Vorden, which, while not being anything vulgar, Chugga thinks sounds disgusting. The best part? ...Chugga never corrects himself in post.
- For that matter, the near disastrous fight against the mercs, with the second one only barely avoiding failure because of Perceval's Executioner ability.
- Chugga now has to face off against another merc afterwards named Jugger.Chugga: Does Jugger have some Nuggets? ...I hope that person doesn't have any, like, big controversies associated with them that I didn't hear about because I don't watch them.
- During a Chain Attack, the camera ends up attempting to focus on Nia, but Rex ends up accidentally photobombing the shot in a hilarious position.
- During the rematch with the substantially stronger Yew and Zuo, Chugga tries to fight evasion with evasion via Mythra, and is in the middle of his planned move... and then Yew kills him mid-plan.Chugga: ...Well, that's awkward.
- Finch ends up weirdly chiming in after this with a total Non Sequitur.Finch: But in REALITY, the battle was ONLY just be-GINN-ing!Chugga: Uh huh.
- After changing around some of his Blades, he ends up finding Crossette by the fireplace. While saying her dialogue, he proceeds to give the shrillest voice possible during her fangirling of Pyra.
- After Chugga barely wins the fight, Yew claims that they (the party) were clearly trying to avoid hurting them too much and just wear them down. Chugga's response?Chugga: NO! I was trying to kill you! I don't have an in between; it was all I could do in such a hard fight!
- As Chugga ends this first video of sidequests, with the intent of continuing more next episode, the following comment is appropriately funny:Alex Freeman-Day: I can imagine Praetor Amalthus just sitting in Indol just like "where is the Aegis's driver? he was supposed to arrive a week ago!"
- The comments strike again, starting with a joke about the title:
- Episode 49: Sniff Out the Spy!
- At the beginning of the episode, Chugga checks up his merc blades, only to voice crack at getting a new "Weaponry for Noobs" from Sordai as his Affinity Chart is completed. Then...Chugga: Ganon and his minions have seized the island of Soridai. You must conquer his Affinity Chart.
- Not too long after, while setting up a Merc Mission, Crossette and a Common Blade (Kouki) end up unintentionally making humorously timed comments:Crossette: Let's see if I can light a fire under their butts!Kouki: No problem!
- "You are next to me and I'm next to Yew!" and Mòrag's response according to Chugga.
- After a battle against a quest mob, Chugga accidentally cuts off Mythra's Affinity Chart dialogue:Mythra: With this power I shall protec- *gets cut off*Chugga: She protecc? *laughs* Didn't intend that one!
- After Finch says a funny line when the morning comes, Chugga recounts a story where he and a few others were comforting a good friend who was in the hospital after it seemed like he would have died. An extremely insensitive friend joins the group call and says "Yeah man, if anything had happened to you I woulda cried and stuff." Chugga can't help but find it morbidly hilarious how bad that was.
- More of a case of Hilarious in Hindsight, but Chugga realizes that Agate actually has stubs for feet, and compares it to models from Fire Emblem: Awakening. ...Which makes sense when you realize that Agate's character designer is Yūsuke Kozaki, who actually is a character designer for Awakening and Fates.
- At the beginning of the episode, Chugga checks up his merc blades, only to voice crack at getting a new "Weaponry for Noobs" from Sordai as his Affinity Chart is completed. Then...
- Episode 50: We Meet Again
- While meeting up with Jac (the Aptitude guy recruited back in Torigoth) for the quest, he tells the group not to mix up the names of his brothers and sister. Guess what Chugga does when he goes to meet them?
- On the next phase of the quest, Uraya gets Development Level 3, but due to the timing and the quest that Chugga is on in question...Chugga: I guess they're [Uraya] celebrating that an Ardainian died somewhere.
- While heading towards the Smuile Plant, Chugga talks about how much he's been dying to head into the locked area... only to be distracted by a group of people who don't look like military personnel.Chugga: I'm ''sure'' they're military personnel, including that guy walking around with no shoes on.
- He then compares it to people wandering around "restricted" areas in Pokémon X and Y.
- Chugga gushes about the view of Mor Ardain from a specific point that can only be reached via the Smuile Plant... and gets so distracted that he misses the platform he was trying to get on and falls.
- Chugga nearly misreads the Unique Monster Slasher Buffon as Slasher Buffoon.
- While fighting the Slasher Buffon, Chugga tries repeatedly to Topple the beast, only to be sent flying repeatedly, much to his frustration.
- Chugga's repeated perplexed reaction to the name of Ardainian Guard Hamish.
- While excavating a point, a Treasure Trove appears... directly under where Mythra's standing.Chugga: *cracking up* Mythra standing there was why it took so much strength to lift it out of the ground!
- On top of giving the Brionic Lyman NPC a terribly goofy voice in the cutscene, Chugga also lampshades how pathetically weak they are given that they're level 27... when to even reach this point in the quest, you need to have Mòrag in your party, who is at least Level 37 by the time she joins the party.
- He later on mocks the other Brionic Soldiers for not only being very weak, but somehow not even recognizing who Mòrag is, despite living in her home where she is well known.
- Chugga's exasperation at dealing with a Treasure Trove that requires Level 6 lockpicking. Then not too long after, Poppi QT gets a skill unlocked... Level 2 lockpicking. Which still leaves him one level short.Chugga: Trying to help, or slap in the face?
- While talking to Jac's Blade Yachik, Chugga gets sidetracked by Mythra (and then Rex) glitching and then falling over the side of a cliff... and then respawning nonchalantly.
