Kinjin in Tekken Revolution

Fighting Style: Combined form

A secret sub-boss who can be randomly encountered after the Version 1.01 update. As its name suggests, Kinjin is yet another Palette Swap of Mokujin, except it is made out of gold, has a mustache, and wears a crown, cape, and sunglasses.

  • All Your Powers Combined: Along with Mokujin and Tetsujin, he has a mixture of moves from various characters, similar to Combot in Tag 2.
  • Ascended Extra: Kinjin was actually in Tekken Tag 1 originally, as a secret costume for Tetsujin when one got 10 wins with it. Its name has been found in the data for the Arcade version.
  • Chrome Champion: He's golden, so you know he's the top dog of all Mokujin!
  • Cool Shades: Part of his new look in Revolution.
  • Ditto Fighter: Subverted
  • Meaningful Name: "Kin" means "gold" in Japanese.
  • Optional Boss: Can be randomly fought along with its training dummy brethren on Stage 7 instead of Jinpachi, and will reward you with an exorbitant amount of gold if you defeat it.
  • Palette Swap: Of Mokujin.
  • Punny Name: "Kin" also sounds a lot like "King", which is why it also wears a crown and cape.
  • SNK Boss: On higher levels of Mokujin Rush, prepare to have your jaw drop when it uses Wang's Neutralizer parry on the exact frame your attack starts and follows up with an Invincible version of his Deathfist, or when it pumps out 4 EWGFs in a row after a juggle and shaves off half of your health. And it only gets worse when Turbo Mode is activated.

    Eliza

Eliza

Unrelenting night awa—zzz...

Fighting Style: Vampire arts
Appears in: Revolution, 7: Fated Retribution (DLC)
Voiced by: ???

A character chosen by fans via a popularity poll posted on the official Tekken Facebook page for adding an exclusive character to Tekken Revolution. According to director Katsuhiro Harada, she has been imprisoned by the Rochefort family deep beneath their mansion, and has only recently been set free.

Her playstyle is similar to Algol's from Soul Calibur IV, with an emphasis on projectile mixups and juggles. While quick and being able to hit hard, her moveset is unusually small, making her somewhat predictable.

She returns in 7 as a pre-order DLC bonus character, with a greatly expanded movelist and playstyle. Her origins are also revealed: having been hunted by the Sirius Marksmen for years, one day she ventured into the De Rochefort mansion to rest, but ended up falling asleep for 600 years. Awakening in the modern day to find that her strength has significantly decreased, she ventures out into the world to find fresh, rejuvenating blood, starting with the descendants of the exorcists who hunted her.

  • Animal Motifs: Her teleportation and some of her attacks contain chiropteran constructs.
  • Ass Kicks You: She has a leaping version of Anna Williams's Aphrodite's Scorn move where she launchers herself butt-first at her opponent while jumping.
  • Breast Expansion: Her 2nd and 3rd alternate costumes are the exact same as her default costume and swimsuit, but with noticeably larger breasts.
  • Calling Your Attacks: "Dark Wave".
  • Canon Immigrant: Of a sort. Few were seriously expecting Eliza, who was assumed to be a one-off character from a non-canon, free-to-play spin-off game that didn't do especially well with audiences, to actually return in Tekken 7.
  • Casting a Shadow: Her moves are imbued with dark energy. Her victory animation sees her covering the loser (and, by extension, the camera) in shadow.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Beautiful and feminine while retaining bat and demon-like characteristics.
  • Dark Is Not Evil / Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: She’s a vampire who feeds on blood, manipulates dark magic, and wears red and black, but she is an eccentric narcoleptic at worst. That said, she may occasionally threaten to feed on her defeated opponents.
  • Diving Kick: In 7, as part of her redesign to make her play completely like a 2D fighting game character, along with new Shoryuken moves and her signature Dark Wave, Eliza was given dive kick special attacks. Her diving kick specials are what sets Eliza apart from the other 2D style fighters in Tekken 7, since hers are the best in the game (better than Akuma's, while Geese has no dive kick abilities at all) and are a crucial part of her game plan; one of the advanced techniques aspiring Eliza players should learn is the art of executing aerial dive kicks at the fastest speed possible.
  • Dominatrix: Her borderline-Double Entendre lines, as well as her costume design, give her some shades of this.
Initiating her Rage Art: "You're in for punishment."
  • Downloadable Content: Eliza makes an appearance in 7 as a paid DLC character. Pre-orders receive her early and free.
  • Full-Contact Magic: Many of her attacks seem to incorporate ki energy into them.
  • Genre Refugee: From the ground up, she is designed to play more like a 2D fighting game character than a 3D one. She has a relatively limited moveset featuring projectiles, Shoryukens and a Super Meter. Her design and animations also seem heavily inspired by Darkstalkers and The King of Fighters. These traits are made more prominent in Tekken 7 where she has competition in the form of Akuma and Geese Howard, two faithfully-incorporated Guest Fighters from actual 2D fighting games.
  • Horned Humanoid: She's got a pair of goat-like horns on her head, not unlike bearers of the Devil Gene. Considering some of her suggestive dialogue and mannerisms, she may also count as a Horny Devil.
  • Ki Manipulation: Not quite a Kamehamehadoken, but her trademark "Dark Wave" is still an energy projectile that travels along the ground, closer in line to the Repuuken.
  • Letting the Air out of the Band: In her Tekken 7 ending the background music slows to a stop each time she dozes off, and speeds back up to normal as she comes back around.
  • Luke, I Am Your Father: Or rather, "Eliza I am your sister", courtesy of Lili. Eliza naturally has many questions about how that's even possible, but falls asleep before any answers can be given.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: She's more of a Distaff Counterpart to Akuma in 7, in that she also has a Super Meter, as well as some EX versions of her moves. She even has her own dive kick!
  • Our Vampires Are Different: She's got the blood-drinking, the looks, the outfit, and the bat-like motif. However, given that this is the Tekken series, it's yet to be seen how other standard vampiric features (like being Weakened by the Light, in a game where many stages are in broad daylight) may or may not play out.
  • Secret Character: To unlock Eliza in Revolution, you need 20,000 Blood Seals, which are collected by playing any modes in the game, including online, in random increments. To unlock her swimsuit, you need 70,000. Then, it's another 70,000 to unlock her breast-expansion alternate. Finally, her swimsuit with enlarged breasts requires a whopping 140,000 Blood Seals to unlock. In Tekken 7, her swimsuit is automatically unlocked if you received her as a pre-order bonus.
  • Shoryuken: Starting with 7, she was given these attacks in order to play like a classic 2D fighting game character. Her version of this is called "Dark Blade" and looks very reminiscent of Athena's "Psycho Sword", albeit not identical to that.
  • Shotoclone: Her move style is very similar to Akuma's, with a projectile (albeit a ground-based one), jumping uppercut, and dive kick.
  • Skill Gate Characters: She's got great damage potential and good mixups, but her moveset is rather small, making her predictable.
  • Sleepyhead: She randomly falls asleep in her introduction pose and after using her Bloody Claw move and she can actually heal herself gradually while being defenseless as she sleeps. In 7, she can actually dodge attacks by suddenly lying on the floor and taking a nap. As of 7, sleeping no longer heals her, but instead builds up her meter. She annoys Lili in her Tekken 7 ending because she keeps falling asleep while trying to point out how absurd it is that Lili is telling her that they are somehow sisters. Lili eventually gets fed up with it and tells her she should try coffee instead of blood.
  • Sphere of Destruction: In her Rage Art, she engulfs the opponent inside this before slashing through them with her hand.
  • Stealth Hi/Bye: She enters and leaves the screen by stretching out her hand and snapping her finger. It looks more like she's blinding the opponent, though.
  • Super Mode: Possibly Downplayed. In the trailer, her Vampiric Draining ability, she seems to gain new attacks.
  • Vampiric Draining: Her Bloody Bite throw has her doing this.
