The AI

Arbee

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arbee.png
Voiced by: N/A
Class: N/A
Rarity: N/A
As first seen in: Disney Speedstorm (2023)
Unique skill: N/A
Epic crew member: N/A

An artificial intelligence living in The Game Loft Arcade who, after watching her favorite Disney and Pixar films, converted an old, broken arcade racing game cabinet into a whole new racing game filled with her favorite Disney and Pixar characters.

  • Boss Battle: In the last regular races in Season Tour chapters, Arbee takes on this role by racing as a particular Racer below. She will be faster than the other AI competitors and use more offensive weapons effectively during these races.
  • #HashtagForLaughs: Up until Season 6: Under the Sea, which removed all the hashtags, Arbee loved to end her sentences with them. One of her in-game prompts read as follows:
Press when the boost bar is full to boost!
    #pedaltothemetal
  • Original Generation: She was created for this game, and is responsible for bringing all the Disney and Pixar characters together.

Racers

These are all the playable Disney and Pixar characters players can race as.
    Mickey and Friends
(Franchise link)

Mickey Mouse

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mickey_mouse_speedstorm.png
"Let's gear up for some fun!"
Voiced by: Bret Iwan
Class: Speedster
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Steamboat Willie (1928)note
Unique skill: Trailblazer
Epic crew member: Pluto

While Disney's famous mouse is just as driven to win on the track as anybody else, he is always happy to help his fellow racers.

  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Mickey's Trailblazer skill grants him a speed boost, plus invincibility if charged. However, the skill also generates a trail that grants the aforementioned effects to opponents that ride in it, meaning a savvy opponent can exploit it against Mickey.
  • Invincibility Power-Up: The charged version of Trailblazer grants Mickey and anyone who follows his trail temporary invincibility while it's active.
  • Skill Gate Characters: Mickey is a very popular choice for beginner players, due to his high acceleration and handling, being extremely easy to collect shards for and star up, and having a unique skill that boosts his speed and can make him invincible. However, at higher levels of play, he takes more work to play efficiently due to his slow speed and opponents potentially being able to take advantage of the trail his unique skill leaves behind him.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Mickey expresses annoyance (including saying, "You've gotta be kidding me!") if he's had misfortune happen to him on the track (such as getting stunned) or if the player is AFK.

Donald Duck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/donald_duck_speedstorm.png
"I'm the best driver for this job!"
Voiced by: Tony Anselmo
Class: Brawler
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: The Wise Little Hen (1934)
Unique skill: Why I Oughta...
Epic crew member: José Carioca and Panchito

The duck with all the bad luck brings his trademark fiery temper to the track, ready to stun anyone who gets in his way.

  • Close-Range Combatant: Donald's unique skill, Why I Oughta..., deals damage to opponents that get too close to him.
  • Counter-Attack: The uncharged version of Why I Oughta... has Donald summon a raft around him that protects him from one attack. If the raft gets hit, Donald will retaliate with a flurry of punches that stun nearby opponents.
  • Skill Gate Characters: Like Mickey, Donald is very common at low levels of play due to his high acceleration and handling, being extremely easy to collect shards for and star up, and having a unique skill that protects him from one attack and attacks opponents. However, at higher levels of play, he's far less common online because of his poor speed and the fact opponents are smart enough not to attack him while his shield is up.

Steamboat Pete

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/steamboat_pete_speedstorm.png
"You can't beat Pete!"
Voiced by: Jim Cummings
Class: Brawler
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Steamboat Willie (1928)
Unique skill: Steamboat Wheel
Epic crew member: Parrot

A big cat who's been a big problem for Mickey and his friends for so many years, this old steamboat captain version of Pete looks to pound his fellow racers into the pavement.

  • Fat Bastard: He's just as obese as any other version of him, is rude to everyone (even the player), and is so aggressive that he fits the brawler class like a white glove.
Steamboat Pete (when the player highlights him): "Make it quick!"
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: He can race against his enemies, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
  • Mighty Glacier: He has high top speed, but poor turning and acceleration.
  • Radio Voice: Although he's voiced by his modern voice actor Jim Cummings, he speaks with this effect to reflect his old-timey origin.

Goofy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/goofy_speedstorm.png
"I'll be faster than a penguin on a pogo stick! Promise!"
Voiced by: Bill Farmer
Class: Defender
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Mickey's Revue (1932)
Unique skill: Barnstormer
Epic crew member: Gilbert Goof

This cheerful yet clumsy dog is ready to tear rubber on the track... provided he doesn't tear down everything else along the way!

  • The Ditz: One of his lines at the starting block has him realize, when he's already in the car and lined up for the race, that "This ain't the roller rink!"
  • The Klutz: The charged version of his Barnstormer skill sees him fumbling with and accidentally dropping the fuel canister onto the track behind him, where it then explodes.

Minnie Mouse

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/minnie_mouse_speedstorm.png
"Lickity-split Minnie, that's me!"
Voiced by: Kaitlyn Robrock
Class: Brawler
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Steamboat Willie (1928)note
Unique skill: Helper's Aura
Epic crew member: Fifi the Peke

Yoo-hoo! Sweet little Minnie Mouse may be happy to finally be on the track but Mickey's polka-dotted sweetheart is no pushover.

  • Distaff Counterpart: Fittingly, she has a similar unique skill to her boyfriend Mickey, with her uncharged unique being a speed boost and her charged unique being a shield.
  • Girly Bruiser: Don't be fooled by her cutesy, girly appearance; Minnie is a brawler who can easily duke it out with the likes of Pete, Sulley, or Captain Gantu.

Steamboat Mickey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/steamboat_mickey_speedstorm.png
"Big doin' going on."
Voiced by: Bret Iwan
Class: Defender
Rarity: Epic
As first seen in: Steamboat Willie (1928)
Unique skill: Happy Whistling
Epic crew member: Caroline Cow

This early version of Mickey Mouse who started Disney's legacy is just as happy behind the wheel of a new-fangled race car as he is on the bridge of a steamboat.

  • Interface Screw: The charged version of Happy Whistling leaves a trail behind him that causes racers who cross into it to have their screens temporarily darkened and covered with ink blots.
  • Invincibility Power-Up: The charged version of Happy Whistling makes Steamboat Mickey temporarily invincible while it's active. Unlike the modern Mickey, though, the trail he leaves behind does not grant the same effects to his fellow racers.
  • Radio Voice: Even though he didn't really speak in Steamboat Willie, he speaks with this effect to reflect the old-timey feel of the original short.

Daisy Duck

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daisy_duck_speedstorm.png

Voiced by: Tress MacNeille

Class: Trickster
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Hercules (1997)
Unique skill: Grecian Burn
Epic crew member: Muses

Megara, free from Hades' control, is ready to show the other Racers how this Grecian burns. Her losing? No chance, no way.

  • Deadpan Snarker: As always, Meg has a snarky quip for every occasion.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Just like the movie she's from, Meg has a large bust, wide hips, and a pencil-thin waist.
  • Interface Screw: The uncharged version of Grecian Burn causes Meg to gain boost every time she drives past an opponent. Affected opponents briefly have their screen blocked by flower petals.
  • Invisibility: Meg's unique skill, Grecian Burn, if charged, allows her to turn invisible and leave behind a trail that grants her boost energy if an opponent drives on it.
  • Waxing Lyrical: One of Meg's lines when falling behind in a race or getting hit is "No chance, no way!", part of the refrain of "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)".

Unique skill: Enchanted Rose
Epic crew member: Lumière

Temperamental as he may be, the Beast will fiercely make his way to the winner's circle before the last petal of his enchanted rose falls.

  • Deadly Lunge: The charged version of Beast's unique skill, Enchanted Rose, has him lunge forward for a short speed boost. When he uses it three times, he Turns Red and only gets his unique skill from item boxes for the rest of the race.
  • Mighty Roar: The normal version of Beast's unique skill has him roar and stun opponents in front of him. If he uses the skill three times, he Turns Red and only gets his unique skill for the rest of the race (or for more ten times if he gets it early enough).
  • Turns Red: If Beast uses Enchanted Rose three times during a race, he'll turn red. While red, Beast will get an upgraded version of Enchanted Rose that has both the roar from the uncharged version and the lunge from the charged version but can't receive any other item for the rest of the race.

  • Go-Karting with Bowser: Much like the other villains present in the game, Gaston can race alongside Belle and Beast just fine in spite of his, um, history with them.
  • Mad Libs Catchphrase: Do we even have to repeat the whole "No one['s] [X] like Gaston" thing?

    The Jungle Book

This relaxed sloth bear is no slouch; all he needs is the bare necessities to send his opponents into a tailspin!

  • No Fair Cheating: Beginning with Season Four, The Cave of Wonders, Baloo will not appear as an AI Racer in limited leaderboard events so that players cannot make use of his "pawpaws" (or really, pumpkins) for speed boosts to improve their times by luck. (Players are not banned from playing as him in such, however.)

    Mulan
(Franchise link)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/li_shang_speedstorm.png

Unique skill: Snake and Snake
Epic crew member: Roz

Monsters, Inc.'s receptionist is putting her clients on hold to show her racing skills.

  • Mood-Swinger: Implemented as a game mechanic. The Snake and Snake skill lets Celia switch between Happy and Angry moods; both moods have different attributes that encourage the player to switch between them depending on the situation.
  • Stance System: Celia's unique skill allows her to switch between two modes: Happy and Angry. When Happy, she sings and generates boost energy when not near any opponents. When Angry, her snakes growl at nearby opponents, causing her to gain boost energy when near other racers.

Mike Wazowski

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mike_wazowski_speedstorm.png
"Oh, that's Wasowski with a Z!"
Voiced by: Carlos Alazraqui
Class: Speedster
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Unique skill: Hold the Door
Epic crew member: Smitty and Needleman

This little one-eyed green monster is ready to prove his mettle on the track with the help of his company's doors.

  • Fragile Speedster: Mike has high acceleration and handling, but middling speed and boost and low combat. This means that while he can get ahead of the pack quickly, his top speed is fairly low unless he has a door to drive through.
  • Nerf: Mike's Hold the Door special was nerfed by reducing the number of doors spawned by the uncharged version to one and having it transport whoever drives through it a shorter distance. It was further nerfed to make the doors take longer to spawn (making them easier to avoid for any Racers in front of him) and make them destructible by other Racers through a shield or invincibility. He was later given yet another nerf to further reduce his teleport distance.

Sulley

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sulley_speedstorm.png
"Trust me, I'm a natural!"
Voiced by: Christopher Swindle
Class: Brawler
Rarity: Epic
As first seen in: Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Unique skill: Fearsome Roar
Epic crew member: Boo

Former top Scarer and new Monsters, Inc. CEO James P. "Sulley" Sullivan seems to be a natural racing talent, too. He'll scare anyone in his way to reach the finish line.

  • Balance Buff: When Sulley was first added to the game, his Fearsome Roar skill was considered to be outclassed by the Fire skill, which had the same effect when charged (an area-of-effect attack around the user) plus additional effects if used uncharged or backward. An update would later extensively overhaul Fearsome Roar to grant Sulley a full boost bar on use, plus extra range and inflicting knockback on whoever it hits, granting it more utility and setting it apart from the Fire skill.
  • Mighty Glacier: Sulley has high speed, combat, and boost, but poor acceleration and handling.
  • Mighty Roar: Sulley's unique skill has him loudly roar and damage nearby racers. It can be charged to have Sulley perform three smaller roars that last longer.

Randall

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/randall_boggs_speedstorm.png
"Oh, I'm ready to do some serious racing!"
Voiced by: Piotr Michael
Class: Trickster
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Monsters, Inc. (2001)
Unique skill: Scream Collector
Epic crew member: Fungus

Monsters, Inc.'s former second-best Scarer Randall Boggs has slithered his way onto the track, ready to scare Racers to become #1 on Speedstorm's leaderboards.

  • Go-Karting with Bowser: Despite being one of the main villains of his movie, Randall can race alongside Sulley, Mike, and Celia.
  • Interface Screw: If an opponent gets scared by Randall's Scream Collector, their screen will be covered with afterimages of Randall's face for a few seconds.
  • Invisibility: True to form, Randall can turn invisible with his Scream Collector skill. While invisible, he can't be hit by other skills or hazards, and he can collect screams to charge up a powerful boost by driving near other racers.
  • Never My Fault: If he loses a race, Randall will sometimes blame Mike for his loss, regardless if Mike is even in the race.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lilo_speedstorm.png
"I'm way faster than a rabbit!"
Voiced by: Micah Aliling
Class: Speedster
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Unique skill: Favorite Hobbies
Epic crew member: Nani Pelekainote

Little eccentric Hawaiian girl Lilo Pelekai might be quite young to drive any vehicle but she's determined to prove herself on the track for her intergalactic ʻohana.

  • Camera Fiend: The normal version of her unique skill shows her photography hobby, with her pulling out her camera and taking pictures of other Racers to increase her top speed.
  • Cool Board: The charged version of her unique skill sees her car turn into a floating surfboard with water trailing behind it, causing those who cross the trail to wipe out (get stunned).
  • Kids Driving Cars: Lilo's the second human child (and currently only human girl) Racer in the game. Unlike Mowgli, however, she has driven or piloted vehicles before in her canon, namely flying a hovercar in the ending montage of the first film and in Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, and occasionally drove the X-Buggy in Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
Lilo: I'm definitely allowed to drive this.

Stitch

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/stitch_speedstorm.png
"Ooh! Stitch go fast! Vroooom!"
Voiced by: Chris Sanders
Class: Speedster
Rarity: Epic
As first seen in: Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Unique skill: Experiment 626
Epic crew member: Duck Family

The little blue mischief-making koala-like alien genetic experiment formerly known as Experiment 626 is really excited to go fast on the track. Watch out for his plasma blasters!

  • Adaptation Expansion: A very downplayed example; while Stitch is based on Sanders's typical portrayal of his character, one of the lines he shouts when using his unique skill is a Tantalog word that he says more often in the Stitch! anime (which Sanders did not reprise his role in).
Stitch: (starts firing his blasters everywhere during his charged unique skill) Akatoo-kee!
  • Aliens Speaking English: A given considering his native franchise. He still speaks it at a toddler level, as usual.
  • Evil Laugh: He sometimes does his mischievous cackle, especially when he uses his unique skill. He was made to destroy, after all.
  • Fictionary: He has some dialogue in Tantalog, his native alienistic language.
  • More Dakka: Stitch's Experiment 626 skill involves rapid-firing his plasma blasters around the track. The uncharged version has him shooting in front of him, while the charged version has him shooting in random directions.
  • Nerf: The size, speed, and amount of the blasts from his plasma blasters were reduced after his season ended. He was later nerfed again to remove the invulnerability effect from his unique skill.
  • Plasma Cannon: He fires his plasma blasters for his unique skill.
  • Third-Person Person: As expected of him in his dialogue.

Angel

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/angel_speedstorm.png
"Boojiboo?"
Voiced by: Tara Strong
Class: Trickster
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Lilo & Stitch: The Series, "Angel" (2004)
Unique skill: Siren Song
Epic crew member: Reuben

Jumba's Experiment 624 and Stitch's "boojiboo" brings her trademark sass and charm as the first Disney Television Animation character to race for the checkered flag. The other Racers will want to cover their ears when she sings, though! ♪Acoota chi-meeto...

  • Adaptation Distillation: This version of Angel is based on her portrayal in Lilo & Stitch: The Series, down to her lack of English speech and having her original voice actress back to voice her. However...
  • Adaptation Expansion: Since her original Western appearance boils down to just two episodes and a small appearance in the fourth film, Gameloft had to take liberties with her character. Her personality in this game is somewhat closer to Stitch's excitable and mischievous personality and her Siren Song is actually an original song, not her familiar "Acoota Chi-Meeto".
  • Aliens Speaking English: Averted; she's the only alien racer from her franchise who cannot speak English.
  • Distaff Counterpart: She greatly resembles her boyfriend Stitch and they have mostly similar stats, though Angel has a greater boost stat.
  • Evil Laugh: One of her lines in the character select screen is a rather mischievous-sounding chuckle.
  • Fictionary: She speaks and sings in Tantalog and only Tantalog.
  • Invincibility Power-Up: The normal version of her unique skill Siren Song gives her and any immediate surrounding Racers temporary invincibility.
  • Siren Song: Literally the name of her unique skill. The normal version has her singing a calming song that causes any Racers within a radius around her to slow down while also granting her and them temporary invincibility. The charged version has her singing an upbeat song that gives her and any surrounding Racers a speed boost.
  • Three-Point Landing: Her unlock animation has her doing this after happily running and jumping around as a reference to a similar action she did in Leroy & Stitch.
  • The Unintelligible: She only speaks in Tantalog or makes alien noises; she doesn't even say her English-based name.

Jumba

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jumba_speedstorm.png
"I hope this vehicle is big enough for me."
Voiced by: Piotr Michael
Class: Defender
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Unique skill: Unstable Blaster
Epic crew member: Wendy Pleakleynote

Dr. Jumba Jookiba, the self-proclaimed "Evil Genius" Kweltikwan mad scientist behind Stitch, Angel, and 627 other genetic experiments, will bring his intellect and his plasma blaster to outwit and outblast the other Racers off-course.

  • Adaptation Distillation: His portrayal seems to be based on his appearance in the original Lilo & Stitch film, with several of his lines based on or taken straight from that film.
  • Aliens Speaking English: As to be expected, he still speaks English in a Russian accent.
  • Always Accurate Attack: Jumba's Unstable Blaster targets the racer in first place (or directly behind his kart if he's in first) and hits them with a plasma shot after a couple seconds. The shot cannot be dodged and will always hit them no matter what; the only ways around it are to use a shield/cloak skill, any of the unique skills that grant invincibility, or the normal dash just before the shot hits (as it briefly grants invincibility, whereas the charged dash does not) to negate it altogether.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: Played with; the trailer for Season 3: ʻOhana treats him as a villain by having him appear with typical franchise villain Captain Gantu and the background music briefly going dramatic. (Hey, Jumba is an evil genius, after all!)
  • Homing Projectile: The normal version of Jumba's unique skill Unstable Blaster has him fire his plasma blaster in the air, which targets the Racer currently in first position, exploding after a short delay, stunning opponents within a radius indicated by a red circle centered on the leading Racer that expands depending on how high his skill's power level is. In other words, Jumba's normal unique skill is essentially the equivalent of a Spiny Shell!
  • Plasma Cannon: Jumba's unique skill involves him firing a shot from his plasma blaster that targets the Racer in the lead or the blaster overloading and becoming unstable, forcing him to drop it behind him, shortly after which explodes in a large radius.

Captain Gantu

"Captain Gantu reporting for duty."
Voiced by: Kevin Michael Richardson
Class: Brawler
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Lilo & Stitch (2002)
Unique skill: Galactic Support
Epic crew member: Grand Councilwoman

The gruff Captain of the United Galactic Federation's Armada is here to enforce his authority upon the Racers. And try to win, too.

  • Adaptation Distillation: His portrayal is based on his appearance in the original Lilo & Stitch film before his forcible retirement, although considering Angel's presence, he could be back to his old self after his re-hiring in Leroy & Stitch.
  • Aliens Speaking English: This alien is just as deep, tough, and militaristic sounding as back when he was first introduced.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: He's normally a villain in his franchise and can race against the other four Lilo & Stitch Racers.
  • Plasma Cannon: His unique skill has him call his spaceship, which fires its plasma cannons ahead of Gantu on the track or passing behind him. He might even shout "Plasma cannon!" when calling for his ship.
  • Your Size May Vary: Much like in his appearances in the TV shows and Ridley's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Gantu is scaled down for the sake of playability.

Class: Speedster
Rarity: Common
As first seen in: Aladdin (1992)
Unique skill: Rajah's Pounce
Epic crew member: Rajah

The princess of Agrabah is ready for a whole new world of racing by soaring, tumbling, and freewheeling her way through the track.

  • Assist Character: Jasmine's unique skill allows her to call on Rajah to attack enemy racers.
  • Custom Uniform of Sexy: Downplayed. Unlike with other female racers in the game, Jasmine leaves her racing suits unzipped, exposing her chest.

Aladdin

"You know me; smooth, cool, confident... and punctual!"
Voiced by: Scott Weinger
Class: Trickster
Rarity: Rare
As first seen in: Aladdin (1992)
Unique skill: Magic Carpet Ride
Epic crew member: Abu

This former "street rat" is a diamond in the rough on the track who will get one jump ahead of the Racers.

  • Assist Character: Aladdin's unique skill has him riding on the Magic Carpet.
  • Fragile Speedster: Aladdin epitomises this the best out of any character in the game. He has some of the highest top speed and boost stats in the game, a unique skill that gives him a powerful speed boost that can cut corners and make him invincible, and unique access to both the Boost and Rush speed skills, but in exchange, most of his other stats are middling-to-low, he only has one offensive skill (Shot) that can only target one opponent at a time, and only the the uncharged version of Magic Carpet Ride and Boost can protect him from attacks. This makes Aladdin a very volatile character whose results can heavily vary depending on the race; either he gets out in front and races far ahead to the point where no one can keep up with him, or he gets hit early on and struggles to get out in front.
  • Invincibility Power-Up: His normal unique skill grants him invulnerability as he rides Carpet for a speed boost.

Epic crew member: Iago

The former royal vizier of Agrabah is back from his lamp to cause havoc to and humiliate any Racer who gets in his way.

  • Fire-Breathing Weapon: His unique skill Fire Breath has him using his cobra staff to shoot fire in front of him (normal) or on either side of him (charged), stunning other Racers.

Genie

"Who's got 2 thumbs and 5000 speeding tickets? This guy!"
Voiced by: Jim Meskimen
Class: Defender
Rarity: Epic
As first seen in: Aladdin (1992)
Unique skill: Genie Magic
Epic crew member: The Magic Carpet

You ain't never had a Racer like him! Free from the confines of the "itty-bitty living space" of his lamp, the Genie is ready to show what his "phenomenal cosmic powers" can do on four wheels.

  • Arc Number: Befitting his ability to grant Three Wishes, the number 3 comes up for Genie a few times:
    • His racer number is 03, referencing his three wishes.
    • The uncharged version of Genie Magic has three possible effects depending on what position Genie is in when he uses it.
    • The charged version of Genie Magic has Genie summon three random skills in a row.
  • Random Effect Spell: The charged version of Genie Magic gives Genie three completely random skills from the skill pool. They can even be skills Genie can't normally get, like Dash or Shot.
  • Situational Damage Attack: The uncharged version of Genie Magic has Genie perform a different effect depending on what position he's in. If he's in first, he becomes invincible, if he's in second, he fires a missile at the player in first, and any position below that gives him a brief speed boost.

  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Oswald uses G-rated swears such as "Go chase yourself!"note  and "That's a load of bulk!"note
  • Heli-Critter: His unique skill involves him using his ears as a pair of propeller blades to fly or attack others.
  • Radio Voice: Although he's not as monochrome as the Steamboat Racers, his voice is filtered like theirs to reflect his age.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Downplayed, as it's a kid-friendly game and he uses kid-friendly swears but he is the only character who curses other people out.

  • Intangibility: In Season 6, he was given this as a buff to his normal unique skill, preventing him from being hurt by attacks and obstacles.

Crew Members

Crew Members are chips featuring images of various Disney characters (who have also been visually given the Speedstorm treatment for their depictions) that provide stat and skill bonuses when applied to a racer, plus sometimes loot bonuses for the loot points earned in a season's Mystery Races (to unlock more Mystery Boxes sooner). Up to a maximum of four Crew Members can be added to a Racer, depending on the Racer's star level; one Crew Member at one and two stars, two at three stars, three at four stars, and the maximum four at five stars.

As with Racers, Crew Members have a rarity attached to them and can also be starred up by collecting shards.

  • Common Crew Members (blue) provide a bonus for two statsnote , with the percentage bonuses matching the number of stars the Crew Member's at,note  and a small power bonus to one of a Racer's skills (+1 at one and two stars, +2 at three and four stars, and +3 at five stars). Common Crew Members may also provide a small loot point bonus (+5 percent at one star, +9% at two stars, and another 2% more for every star afterward up to +15% at five stars).
  • Rare Crew Members (purple) provide bonuses for three stats, note  also with the same percentage bonuses point values as given for Common Crew Members, note  and bigger skill bonuses to one of a Racer's skills (+1 at one star, +2 at two stars, +3 at three and four stars, and +4 at five stars). Rare Crew Members may also provide a larger loot point bonus (+10% at one star, +17% at two stars, +22% at three stars, +26% at four stars, and +30% at five stars).
  • Epic Crew Members (gold) are the hardest to get and star up, but they provide the best benefits. However, each Epic Crew Member can only be applied to just one particular Racer, rather than any Racer within any given collection. They add a percentile increase to all their Racer's stats (+4% at one star, +6% at two stars, +8% at three stars, +9% at four stars, and +10% at five stars),note  provide a skill power bonus to their Racer's unique skill (same power bonuses as Common Crew Members), and even give their Racer a common skill to start with for the race (with the skill's power level matching the star level match the Crew Member's star level).
